I went here with my boyfriend on Tuesday. It was 11:30 at night, and we were starving. Being that it was a weekday, not a lot of places were open. By suggestion of the concierge and an employees, we went on a mystical quest for Johnny Rockets. We really didn’t want that, but it was supposedly the only thing open besides this wing place. The wing joint isn’t open until 1 am. Sorry to disappoint. Well, right before we got to J. R’s, we saw this place. They close at midnight, but were happy to seat us a half hour till closing. I ordered the Phở, while my boyfriend ordered the General Tso’s chicken. He said it was the best he’s ever had. My phở was very flavorful, and yes, granted it was a bit expensive, it was so worth it considering our limited options. It is also cheaper than Kwi which is in Caesars.

This asian restaurant located inside Bally’s is very mediocre and extremely overpriced. I have never seen chinese take out quality food for such inflated prices. On top of that, the restaurant gives priority over VIP casino members so expected to wait for 30min-1hour if you are not a big shot. I am only giving this place 2 stars because the food is not terrible, but for such inflates prices and low priority treatment and wait times, spend your money at a foodstand at the boardwalk, they have a lot more interesting offers for a fraction the cost.

Unfortunately, my experience at The Noodle Bar in Harrah’s was less than satisfactory because it was Seven Star weekend. We had dinner at the noodle bar itself, which meant we didn’t have to wait for them to prioritize their more prized members over us for tables. I had a bowl of phở(«Vietnamese Rice Noodles»… I looked at the Vietnamese translation and just saw«phở») which tasted all right. The portion was decently-sized, although considering how much we paid for it, I wish there was more.(Yes, I know it’s a restaurant in a hotel, what was I expecting.) My brother got a different dish that he didn’t seem to like much, however. Nothing wrong with the meal — tasted fine, nice selection of sauces put out(hoisin, Sriracha, Kikkoman soy, and one more that I didn’t recognize), but it wasn’t as good as the price led me to believe it could have been. And then breakfast. This was kind of awful, service-wise. It’s not that the waiters or hosts were rude or anything. It’s just that we were not their priority. My family waited in that line for about 45 minutes while we saw a lot of higher-priority members get seated after just 5 – 10 minutes of waiting. These high-priority members got blue candles on their tables, which was an indicator to waiters that they were to be served and helped first. When we were finally seated, it did take a while for our waitress to come by to take our orders, and then a while for our food to come out. I got the Hunka Hunka Love stack of pancakes — banana pancakes with a peanut butter sauce named for Elvis.(Oh! Side note: the menu was a lot of fun. They had fun naming the dishes and coming up with fun little taglines for each, and that was a fun experience for me as a customer.) They were really delicious, although the peanut butter made me sooo thirsty, and I couldn’t finish them. My dad got an omelette and my brother got a Belgian waffle. We were all really pleased with the food, and we even had a side of potatoes that we’re not sure came with any of our orders.(Maybe their way of apologizing for treating us second class? XD) The food was really quite good, but it didn’t do a whole lot to mollify us after waiting for an hour to get it. The 3rd star is for the quality of our breakfast, but again, just because we are not the biggest spenders doesn’t mean we should be treated as valued customers. A lot of other customers were getting much more upset about this than we did. But they are saved by good food and, when we finally got it, friendly service.
