My GF and I visited Yuboka at the Revel while we were vacationing at the Jersey Shore. The location is a Jose Garces restaurant, and a small dumpling and noodle restaurant. They have a combination of Chinese, Korean, and other Asian-influenced small dishes and soups. I can’t say we had much good to say about the place, aside from the fact that the drinks were OK. The soup, noodles, and buns were all sub-par, greasy, and had little or poor flavor. The shrimp dumplings were just OK, but very overpriced at $ 12 for what is generally a $ 4.00 dim sum item. Definitely a location that was not up to Iron Chef standards when we were there.

There aren’t a huge number of dining choices at the Revel so for something different we tried this Asian noodle place next to Amada. First of all the seating consists of high chairs and tables which isn’t hugely comfortable but I suppose they want you to eat and go. They also have a very limited menu. I had the wonton noodle soup which was bland and very boring, I had to add a lot of soy and hot sauce to make it a little more spirited. The beef noodle soup was better but again needed a little assistance in the flavour department. On balance, we wouldn’t return unless the menu was over hauled.

As far as noodle bars go, Revel was a little late to the party. This restaurant sort of popped up when Revel finally realized it was missing some of the food choices that visitors to casinos expect. Yuboka is set up with rows of wooden counter tops and bar stools for eating. You can sit in the outer row and dine while overlooking the casino floor, or sit a little closer to the open kitchen. The service is friendly in a somewhat laid-back, California way. Food arrives in about 10 – 15 minutes. The food I had was good. Soup Dumplings were piping hot and enjoyable. The sesame noodle dish was OK; there was a good amount of cut up shredded, fresh veggies on top of the noodles, however, there were a lot of jalapenos that were a bit unexpected. Also, the vinegar was a bit heavy-handed for my palate. Nevertheless, it was still a ‘good’ dish. Those two items cost me less than $ 20. Overall, Yuboka is good, yet I think they could do a little better. FYI, closing time on Wednesday was 9pm.

I only tried two dishes. The fried chicken wings are MMM-MMM good. A nice, unique, flavor. A crunchy coat on the outside and juicy meat on the inside. The soup dumplings were passable.

2 stars for the service because our waiter was very nice and attentive. The food… only gets 1 star. Location is good because it’s on the casino floor. We ordered the soup dumplings, lamb bun, spare ribs and a ramen. The used waaay too much sesame oil in the soup dumplings… you couldn’t taste anything BUT sesame oil… I couldn’t even tell what kind of meat the used because all I got was a mouthful of overuse of sesame oil. Spare ribs were waaay too salty… no other flavor but salt. Ramen was the same kind I would get out of a dry packaged one from the Asian grocery store… the noodles were overcooked and mushy and I have no idea what that broth was… surprisingly the lamb bun was quite good but not enough for me to come back just yet and try anytime soon.

I consider myself a fusion cuisine snob. I have tasted Asian fustian all over the world, this place is surprisingly good. What a great mix of flavors. Service was excellent, I live 90 minutes drive from here, I would defiantly drive back here for the great food

I’m totally okay with overpaying in a place, I mean it’s a casino what do you expect. I really don’t mind paying overpriced, as long as the food is good. if the food is not good, then we have a problem. SO? The food was not good. XLB(soup dumplings) — good. But read an article online these are shipped from the location in Philadelphia(Dim Sum garden). Now that’s a shame. Beef noodle soup: totally terrible. What, 1 bokchoy? 2 pieces of beef? Lots of noodles, and flavorless broth? SEriously, flavorless? What a disappointment. Would I return? Yeah, if my pit boss comped me… n’uff said right

Would not done hear again. * Congee* very Americanized. Wanted to try it here since congee is no longer offered at NOW at Borgata. It comes with a lot of stuff in it, pork belly was a nice touch but everything else in it was just too much. *soup dumplings* best thing on the menu, I’ve never had them before, so many that’s why. I did meet to add oil and soy sauce, but I thought it was decent *lamb bun* didn’t taste like. Lamb. It reminded me of a flat bread cheese steak, with no cheese. What weirded me out was that my green tea was a twinning tea bag in a paper cup. What noodle bar does that? Bottom line, I wouldn’t eat here again. Service was friendly, but just doesn’t compare to, well. anything. Next time I crave Asian I plan on driving to borgata, where all the rest of the people are.

One of the restaurants Iv tried while staying at the revel… What can I say the food is just tasteless… The server was nice but kinda slow… there was only two waiter working there… there bowls of noddles was crazy huge… the proportion is big but the flavor is defiantly not there… I had a bowl of cold sesame noddles as an appetizer and a bowl of wonton noodles with soup. the appetizer was ok… I had cold sesame noodles millions of times since I’m Asian… but this is by far the worst noddles I have ever had… My wontons noodle soup was kinda tasteless… the amount is big but who wants to eat big proration of something that doesn’t even taste that good… The wontons was terrible… the noddles were thin. and the soup was plan. they had these huge veggies that was not cut up it was to big to even chew… This was a really disappointing experience…

This place is located right off the casino floor, not like an isolated restaurant. It’s more for a quick snack than a sit-down meal. The service was pretty good, waiters were ready to respond and kept our glasses full. They also explained any concerns we could have had about the food. The congee was great, rich with flavor. A little too sweet for my taste, but it was a decent hearty serving. The soup dumplings were great, I would have enjoyed a few more of them. The noodles were just OK. The drawback to that dish was the broth, which tasted fairly bland. Overall, you’ll be playing a bit more for food here than it’s worth. I’d suggest holding off and just passing by. The problem isn’t all the quality, it’s just too expensive to eat here.

Horrible. Noodles were bland. And they’ve developed NO flavor with their food! There were more than 10 people in our group when we ate there, 2 of them were okay with it. Everybody else regretted it. Service was slow. If you like soy sauce, this is the place to be. You’re going to need it if you eat their food.

I have never ate such awful and expensive food in my life(yes, I’m exaggerating but it was just plain awful!) Let’s start with the«better» part… the waitress and the sitting area is not bad. The wait staff is slow but at least pleasant. Just don’t expect to get what you need after you asked…(spoon… water…) but the check came VERY fast!!! We ordered: Appetizer(took over 20 minutes): steamed shrimp dumplings(har gaw) — 5 small pieces obviously from the frozen section(it tasted exactly like the brand: Doll or Amoy). The price… ready for this… $ 12 — the frozen ones cost $ 3 for package of 8 and can be microwaved in 2 minutes!!! Appetizer(took over 20 minutes): steamed pork and chives dumplings — 6 small pieces another obvious frozen store bought… thick skin, no taste, not juicy, the bottom sticks to the paper… The price, $ 9! Wonton noodle soup — soup base has the taste from when you par-boiled the noodles… otherwise, extremely blend. Noodle was too soft… not al dente as it should be, there are still sand in the Shanghai bok choy and the wonton(no prawn — I saw pieces of cut up shrimp) and again… taste like store bought frozen wonton… price $ 16 Congee — the bowl was hot… the congee was luke warm at best. There were pieces of burnt meat, clumps of congee that was stuck on the bottom of the pot, pork belly that was chewy and where was the tendon… oh yeah… hoisin sauce and pink liquid that tasted like the juice from the pink ginger for sushi in the congee??? it was NASTY!!! price — $ 9 Beef noodle soup — noodle was EXTREMELY chewy and doughy, beef had fridge burnt on the edges, beef tendons and mushrooms was missing, the broth… wow… darkest broth I have ever seen… with no flavor except for soy sauce… it was color water and salt. The only word I can think of to describe it would be DISGUSTING! price — &16 I walked out of there feeling sick to my stomach and robbed! I understand it’s in Revel but wow… Never will we go back there again…

The good was mediocre and the service was fair. I ordered the cold sesame noodles and they were great about accommodating an allergy of mine, BUT the menu did fail to mention that the dish came with jalapeños and no mint. This was throughly disappointing! My fiancée said his dish, the dan dan noodles, were just ok and it could have been spicer per the menu advertised it was very spicy. They were also pricy. We Wo t be back

I like the fact that the restaurant is open and offers a quick bite in the middle of the casino. Unfortunately, the place was just not as clean as i would have liked. Both times we have been there, we have seen food on the floor, and napkins that just have not been cleaned up. As far as the food… it was ok. nothing amazing… i have a preference for the more traditional noodle bars that many of the other casinos offer.

My god. I don’t usually write Unilocal reviews but this garbage was so bad that I needed to help out fellow eaters. The noodles were disgusting and the wonton were not much better. Bland beyond belief. I would rather eat stale bread. Not to mention over priced. Go to the mussel bar instead. However, the staff was very accommodating and understanding. But I would still never eat here ever again.

Worst Noodle bar I’ve e ever been to. I’ve decided to give this a try since it was new at Revel. Revel has very good and decent food so I expected this noodle bar to be at least decent. I ordered the duck noodles, they were bland and had no taste. I can make noodles 10x better than this. The soup dumplings tasted straight steamed out of the freezer. I know they probably can’t make it fresh, but can they at least do something about it. The chicken wings were recommended by the employer and those were only okay. The pork and chives dumplings were supposed to be good but then I can also make that with my eyes closed. I’m not trying to show off that I can cook these things but the food was just really bad. Yuboka you really need to step up the food quality if you want more business. I wouldn’t eat here even if I was starving.

Salty… very salty. Ordered the mouth watering cold chicken and congee. They were both inedible as the salt overpowered everything. Might give it another try for their soup dumplings and ramen.
