I entered with 5 people and everything was cold my friends steak was over done, the chicken dry, mashed potatoes are chewy and cold and I got 5 pieces of ravioli for 14 $!? Service was awful as well it’s really not worth it at all

Overall was an ok experience. Ordered the Bourbon Salmon with zucchini and spaghetti squash on the side. Salmon was very good! Spaghetti squash was undercooked. We asked the waitress to please have the squash cooked a bit longer. She took both our entire plates back into the kitchen, which was unusual(um is that a food safety violation?) and unfortunately all we got back was our«entire» meal warmed in the microwave. Squash was still undercooked but now just hotter. Waitress checked in on us a bit later and never even asked how the squash was! She clearly knew we wouldn’t have been happy with our now microwaved meal and didn’t want to deal with our responses. I also got the apple crumble dessert which was delicious! My friend got the chocolate sundae and specifically asked before ordering if the chocolate cake and fudge would be warm. Waitress said yes but it came out cold with a bunch of whip cream on top and next to no ice cream. Waitress was average. I am always surprised when wait staff don’t go above and beyond to meet customer expectation given their tip will depend on it. She did the bare minimum and wasn’t very efficient in making sure her customers were happy.

Came in for apps for lunch w/hubby. Split a po-boy flat bread & a sampler. The flat bread was tasty; crispy crust, flavorful sauce, tasty sausage & mushrooms, with the perfect amount of cheese… but the shrimp, though good, didn’t really add anything to the flatbread. The sampler included mozzarella sticks(perfect), chicken tenders(breading was overdone, but chicken was moist), hot wings(nice spice, but just OK flavor), & Thai spring rolls(pretty good). So, overall good, but nothing that blew my socks off. Noticed they had a seasonal pumpkin cheesecake, so of course I tried it! The flavor was very good, but it seems like they tried to thaw it in a hurry & failed. The topping & crust were warm, & the cheesecake was partially frozen in the middle… it was more like a pumpkin pudding pop. Hubby hates pumpkin, so he opted for the strawberry shortcake. The menu stated it came w/a sweet biscuit; it was plain…& hard. The strawberry portion was well macerated, but that’s hard to mess up(though, not impossible… lol!). So, in conclusion, we would come back for a quick bite, but it wouldn’t be anything we’d add to our standard rotation. Average chain restaurant.

I was very unhappy with my experience and quite frankly it was a buzz kill the salad bar was a let down and plus the service was just not very pleasing at all my dish was way over cooked meaning my onions and peppers were blackened plus my dad’s burger was crunchy … Not the best

Decent I always knock chain restaurants. I see people trashing the place and I can believe that they may have had a bad experience. However, I have been to this place a couple of times recently, just for salads, and honestly it was pretty good. Fresh veggies, everything properly kept cool and crisp, clean, decent dressings, and prepared salads. Tip: Order a salad entrée and you get the full salad bar and an entrée for a couple of bucks more than just ordering salad. It’s a chain, it’s never going to be great, but if your looking for a salad to eat a little healthier, you could do a lot worse. For the most part, you can’t even find many places that offer a salad bar. I am neither recommending nor am I telling you to stay away. Thanks

Filthy… no wonder the place is always deserted. Too bad we live close by and love salad bars. If the front of the house is any indicator of the back they should close. Talked to the waitress. No manager showed. Answered their survey a week ago prior to Unilocal. No response.

Leaving a star off cause of the hostess. First i called ahead to ask if they sung happy birthday to people. The hostess acted like she had never heard of such a thing. Then when we arrived the main door was broken and wouldn’t open the whole way. The hostess just stood at her area while we tried to get in.

My wife and I used to love this restaurant and would come weekly. Over time, it seemed to be slipping a little bit each time, so we stopped coming as frequently. After our last experience, I don’t think we will return in quite some time. We asked for the manager to share this, and she really did not seem to care. The salad bar was once the highlight of the meal and is now more expensive with less and less ingredients available. Our chicken dishes were okay. The veggie sides were basically raw.

Overall ok. Not great. Fish tacos are very poor. Place is clean. Salad bar is very well managed. Fresh and clean. I stop by there when I need to meet someone or shopping in the area.

This is just kind of a lost experience. Service is very good. I did notice that no matter your age the server is forced to ask for your ID. The man that was asked was clearly over 40. He felt a little insulted. And I think it was demeaning to the server. The food is ok. Not great, not bad. Just ok. Nothing really stood out from the rest and the place seems to rely on its large salad bar for business. The place really seems to have no focus or plan. Its a bar, acting upscale, serving diner food level food. Place seems worn and out of date also.

This location has been a standard go-to place in the area that was always a notch above Applebee’s, Chilis and Fridays in terms of freshness and ambiance. However, I am sad to say that at least this location is now out of my consideration set. Went there last Sunday for dinner, and first bad sign was very few cars. Second bad sign was being seated and noticing the entire place had a bad funk in the air that even my son noticed. It smelled like dirty carpet and dishwater. The table was sticky, and the drink menu was stained and warped. My whole family unanimously said that enjoying a meal here would be impossible. We got up, told the hostess why we were leaving and went elsewhere. These were all signs that the management of this once reliable casual restaurant no longer cares. If they don’t clean up their act, they will surely close.

We just attempted to have dinner here and walked out after being seated because it smelled so bad. A sour, spoiled stench permeating the place that was just awful.

I’ve avoided them due to their previous rep… and I just wanted to give them a chance. GREAT choice! Mid week lunch wasn’t busy at all. ONE downside is the booths are SMALL in width by even a thin persons standards. OK now on to food. The Sirloin was cooked to perfection, had great seasonings and well portion. The lemonades and ice tea’s are flavored perfect and free refills. The salad bar was well stocked(while missing romaine letters –not a deal breaker unless you want a Cesar salad) Service: Wasn’t bad, but not the best either. The server was a bit pushy trying to get us to order, better yet she could have offered suggestions or took questions. But after that food came out, refills came when asked and complimentary cheese biscuits. Food came out hot(which I appreciate) and we didn’t have to wait for the bill. Venue: décor was fine, again booths too small, nothing spectacular or wrong there. End note I will return with my family soon.

Late lunch for hubby and I turned out to be a great experience. Waitress was extremely friendly and made our experience pleasant. We tried the new pretzel burgers which were very good and enjoyed a few trips to the salad bar. Overall we were very pleased. Glad we choose Ruby Tuesday.

What can you say about Ruby Tuesday that can’t be said about Applebee’s, TGI Fridays or Uno? The little garlic biscuits are amazing. And there’s a salad bar with spinach that didn’t give me E. coli, which is always cool. It does have the distinction of having one of the more disgusting bathrooms I’ve been in, but being this close to Pawtucket, it’s a wonder those barbarians haven’t completely ripped the urinal off the wall and punched holes in the wall. Also, the staff seems pretty great, which is obviously a big plus.

Went here a few weeks ago with my brother and wife on a Thursday evening aroun 730. Entering the place it was about ¼ full however there was a group staning to be waited to be seated. I noticed that the tables were clean however none of them were set or ready for a customer to sit down. It took over five minutes for us to be seated for the greeter was running around setting the table for the previous people along with us. When we sat done and ordered our beverages it took almost ten minutes to get them. Essentially, the service and speed of this place stunk and the food is nothing to write home about. The only reason why this review is not a one is because my wife enjoyed the mixed drink she ordered. If you want to go somewhere worth while I would avoid this one.

Pretty much what I’ve come to expect from the Ruby Tuesday’s chain. The«garden» bar pretty much always gets my money, and why not? I basically am always guaranteed a side(sometimes two) exactly how I want it. Nothing that’ll drive you mad with glee, but lots of tasty stuff like shrimp and ribs and burgers. I’m not sure if they still do those mini biscuits like they used to, but that might be for the best since the recipe is too sweet, IMO. I have yet to test their craft beer menu. While I applaud the chain for taking a step in that direction, in every location I’ve been to it’s typically a crap shoot as to what’s available from the list at any given time. Can’t say for sure if that’s true at this one, but I suppose I’ll find out eventually. In the meantime, I had a black & blue(Guinness and Blue Moon) that was mixed right and have no real complaints on that front. Addendum: Have been back a couple of times and, you guessed it, craft beer options are sporadic at best. They usually have the third thing I ask for. Our waitress was really friendly and our food came out pretty fast. Hmm, nearly talking myself into a fourth star here, but I’ll reserve judgment based on future trips. One last note: the men’s room is apparently on the opposite side of the wall as the kitchen. On my trip to use the facilities, the entire room smelled of bacon. This doesn’t seem like a bad thing, and yet I feel like a bathroom shouldn’t smell delicious.

I’m a fan of the Ruby Tuesday’s chain, and was sad when the one in Watertown closed, making this location the closest to my house. Well, the food was worth the trip. I visited the restaurant for dinner with a party of 7 on a recent Sunday to celebrate my brother-in-law’s 21st birthday. Everyone was very happy with the food they ordered, from the sister-in-law who got the salad bar &3 vegetarian sides to my husband who had a huge bacon cheeseburger with fries & onion rings. The thing about this location’s menu that is a little different from the rest is you get a choice of 2 sides with your entrée. So, I ended up having delicious mashed cauliflower and grilled zucchini with my turkey burger, instead of the usual fries that are served with it at other locations. The salad bar is worth the $ 3 to add to a meal. It’s got choices to please both the calorie conscious and blue cheese fiends in your group. Also, if you order a drink with any fruit flavoring(raspberry iced tea, strawberry lemonade, etc.) it contains real fruit in the glass it’s served in. This location even offers free refills with iced teas and lemonades included, which most Ruby Tuesday’s exclude from their free refills list. All and all I think this restaurant is worth a trip to.

Nothing wrong with my experience at this particular Ruby Tuesdays, but also nothing that made it stand out. Dined around 8:30PM on a Friday night — it was neither crowded nor vacant. Waitress was overly-friendly — not in the«wow — they’re really friendly, and really good at their job» way, more of a «wow, they’re just too friendly — that can’t be real… at least i hope it isn’t… for their sake» way. She did come by quite a few times before we were ready to order — she should note that«can we have a minute» does not mean that we need exactly 60 seconds to decide and that you should appear in exactly 61 seconds. I enjoyed a specialty burger, along with their garlic and cheese biscuits(which i highly recommend). The burger came with«endless fries» which was of course turned into a challenge to finish the first batch of fries so i could take advantage of the ‘second round’. Motif was neither dated nor modern. Not sure if that’s standard for Ruby Tuesday’s nowadays, but if it is, they need to reconsider.

Went out to eat with my brother at this establishment recently and was not impressed whatsoever. The restaurant was relatively deserted on arrival, seated promptly in a small section.…along with everyone else! Groups were not distributed around the restaurant but forced to sit next to each other in this crowed area. The salad bar had far fewer options than others I have visited. Although I must say, the croutons are the most amazing kind I have ever had. Strangely enough, they taste like.. . clam cakes.. . in a good way, haha. I ordered the Chicken and Broccoli pasta, which in the picture looks great but tastes so-so. Hidden in the pile is a vat of the Parmesan sauce, making the underside pasta soggy and unappetizing. The leftovers will suffice for my lunch break tomorrow at work. I would definitely think twice before visiting this particular Ruby Tuesday’s again. Hopefully no more«Buy One Get One Entrée» coupons come in the mail so I don’t feel obliged to use them.
