My wife and I are now regulars at least once a week. I love the filet, which is always done right and for short money. On Mondays it’s even cheaper because of the weekday specials. Good selection of draft beers. T.V.‘s. Menu is quite varied. Holiday specials.

Pretty average, decent burger spot in the area. Place is always packed for some reason. I’ll stop in every once in a while. Nothing to go out of your way for. One of this been in the neighborhood forever and has its regulars type of joint. Nothing special

Have been many times. The bar section is small but a it’s a great spot if your looking for good food. Try the Buffalo Alfredo or the Chicken Parm.

I’ve never had a negative experience. Bar is almost always busy. Very reasonable prices for drinks. Bar tenders Lynn and Dave are the best.

Good food, good deals, and great service. The Cobb salad was huge and very tasty. The Teriyaki chicken was good too. It was a Sunday so we got to choose which deal we wanted and decided on the date night Tuesday so we received two entrees and an app for $ 25. The app was stuffed mushrooms which was also good. The only drawback was the seating is a little crammed and my wife sat underneath the TV during a football game so she felt like everyone was watching her. We would go back if in the area and wanted a more casual place to eat.

Huge menu ! Great specials. They don’t cheap out on ingredients. The food is all good. Never had a bad meal here. I always sit at the bar it’s small but has old Irish pub feel. It takes me a long time to decide on a meal, sometimes I’ll do the couples special and pick 2 for myself.

I sat at the bar recently. It was a Monday night and there were about 6 people at the bar and the restaurant seemed to be about ¾ full. I ordered a cheese burger & fries with a bud light bottle. The bartender told me they don’t sell bud light in a bottle but they did have it on draft. I’m not a fan of draft beer so I decided on a diet coke. The burger came out pretty quickly. I was pleasantly surprised at how big it was. It was cooked perfect. The fries were really good also. I would have liked to give this place 3 and a half stars because they deserved it. I have been here before and found the food to be pretty good. The only issue is sometimes the food isn’t consistent. Next time you’re thinking about eating at one of the chain restaurants I would suggest giving Weatherlaine’s a try. Just as good as most if not better. Fun family atmosphere.

After chatting with my local bartender about this place I decided to give it a try. On Saturday, August 15, my partner and I decided to head here for dinner. We were greeted at the door by very friendly hostess and seated in a very homey atmosphere in the back room next to the window. We were greeted promptly by our server and asked if we wanted bread and oil, something to drink and if we have chosen any appetizers yet. Indeed we both ordered beer we got some bread and oil and our appetizers. Everything was delicious. We both ordered sirloin tips for an entrée which was also delicious. The prices were very good & the atmosphere was excellent and the service was great. we plan to return here again soon.

How wetherlaines has no reviews is beyond me. WOULDNOTRECOMMENDEVER! I’ve been trying to stay away from this place for a while now. The food, per the usual, was rather greasy and took way too long to come out even though only 3 tables were sat. The waitress had to tell the hostess how to do her job which, apparently, requires them to scream across the restaurant. I ordered the awkwardly stacked clam basket which, by the time it was in front of me, was ruined. The few poorly fried, possibly under cooked gritty SHELLfish destroyed the fries underneath while the tarter sauce and coleslaw squished the clams in their paper ramekins. To no surprise, I chomped down on a shell fraction only to have a toothache for the evening. The only reason I give this place 3 stars is because my boyfriend and company enjoyed their burgers. Unfortunately, according to the menu, each burger came with onion rings/straws(thinly sliced and fried onions) until you speak to the waitress who informed us it would cost an extra dollar. Hell, give me sweet potato fries if I have to pay another dollar on top of a $ 10+ burger! I’m sure this place is great for a drink and to chat with locals but, if the keep it up, that’s all it will be.

Southwest burger was good. Serving was large with both fries and onion rings. My favorite by far was the Mexican Martini. It was almost as good as the original from Trudy’s in Austin, TX.

This place was a banger. It seemed like a local hangout, because I sat at the bar and everyone knew everyone else’s names. Everyone was very friendly, & the burger I got was awesome. I don’t even eat beef often, but I was craving it, & was super glad I went here. Everything was accurately priced, and beers were pretty cheap by Massachusetts standards.

Wow… this place is usually a nice spot to get a meal and meet up with friends but when we got there we were served by the rudest waitress. Late 40’s, heavy set, dark hair and angry. My friends have never been there and felt like they were being discriminated against because they were a gay couple. She ignored drink requests. Walked away while we were in the middle of speaking. She was not friendly and never smiled or acknowledged when we said thank you. At the end of the meal when my husband was packing up our child to take him home(the ladies were staying behind for our second beer), she walks over and throws down a bag and says«for the baby». Um, ok. Thanks for finally attempting to give good service with your continued attitude but it was already too late to make up for the experience. As for why I didn’t say anything while we were there… this woman seemed like she was spoiling for a fight. We were just trying to have a nice afternoon together to catch up and I didn’t want to get into it with an unstable person that was handling our food. We won’t be coming back or recommending it to other locals anymore.

I absolutely love it here! We’ve been coming here for years. There are some servers that are friendlier than others but all in all, great service, great food and great value! Their specials are a great deal and I’ve never had anything here that has disappointed. Bar area could be bigger but there’s charm in the size and décor of the place just as it is.

Very delicious French Onion soup, not too salty. I love coming here! they always have great specials and deals going on during the week and late night but even if you miss a deal the food is always a good price. I’ve never had a meal I didn’t like here. Only complaint would be I wish the bar area was bigger.

I went here with some friends for the late night half-price appetizers and $ 2 bar burgers. The chicken quesadilla I had was very good, stuffed with cheese and chicken and had a nice flavor. Even the sour cream wasn’t plain which added flavor. The $ 2 bar burger(which, with some additions came to $ 3.70) was also pretty decent for a burger in general, especially a burger so cheap. Overall, the food was very good, and there are things on the menu that I’d like to go back and try. However, the one star was taken away because the wait staff seem like zombies. My friends have told me this is typical, and our waitress never once smiled at us and service was blah. I don’t really ask for much from my servers at all, but to not look like you want to kill yourself would be pleasant.

Stopped by for a quick lunch before heading back to class. Other then the mismatched décor and the potato soup knly having one potato in it I was pleased. I ordered a half cup soup and sandwich combo and it was delightful. Can’t beat the price. The sandwich was fresh and stuffed well. The potato soup I ordered came with one potato. It was tasty but I was really looking forward to some hearty potatos. Wait staff was pleasant and I will return.

I will break this into sections. I am sure lunch is a far better meal here. The food is great. Great varied menu. Service is excellent. Even crowded the lady got to us often. Décor is interesting and varied. Ok, the bad part. Children. Small screaming children at 7PM at night. Screaming loudly, and often. One managed to scream most of the way for dinner. Loud at over twenty feet in a crowded pub style place. Louder than the people at the bar. Again, another place you would assume at 7 there would be only older children at worst. Say teenagers and above would be normal. There were at least three tables in the front«pub» area with children under 5 years old. I would be back for lunch but thats it.

This is my hometown favorite pub. Family friendly, yet the bar is separate enough for adults to grab a beer and feel comfortable. Food is unique and definitely all American. The ginger soy salmon salad is awesome… seemingly healthy but loaded with oil(just in case you think you are trying to fool yourself into thinking it is healthy). Not a place to try and be «good.» They also have great pub deals such as 1999 menu prices and the afternoon munchie deals. Only downfall is the waitstaff can vary from being cranky to moderately nice. Overall a unique almost«Cheers» like neighborhood bar/pub.
