The café is located inside Oakland University Kresge Library.

Oh, you might be wondering where the name of this café came from… Don’t be too intimidated by the opulence. Suzanne O. Frankie was a former dean of the Kresge Library and a donor to the endeavor.
Anyway, the café offers a delightful abundance of fresh fruit, assorted muffins, bagels, salads and sandwiches from Chartwells (OU’s dining service provider).
The café also highlights Peet’s Coffee & Tea; a California based coffee company that holds the first Gold Certified LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design), very artisan, organic and environmentally friendly.
The café is a very contemporary lounge with black and gold motif and paintings featuring local artists adorning the walls. There are booths, personal tables, and raised bar-​style tables perfect for studying or just enjoying an afternoon of kaffeeklatsch.
The café provides convenience to students, especially when mugging up for an exam.
