Called Accent Tree Service in early May.
Got an answering service, left message. Several days passed, I called again to get a quote.
Got a callback from Dan, scheduled a visit to look at project to get an estimate.
Scheduled work for the following week.
Dan arrived as scheduled, with crew and all needed equipment.
They did an excellent job. Was very mindful of our sprinkler heads, and surrounding landscaping.
Yard was left clean and neat, just as promised.
I would gladly call this company again for any tree removal in the future.
Quote was MUCH cheaper than anyone else that had bid.
I have learned that perhaps it is best to call service people a couple of times, in the event your name, number & message don’t quite reach the right department.
Overall, very pleased with their performance.

Best price, best service!!!

I recently wanted to negotiate a pruning job involving 3 trees and 3 bushes. Accent is NOT on Home Advisors where I initially looked. I took a couple of estimates. I worked with a Mr. Butler (offhand forgot his 1^st name). The reviews above look to be all over the place. My experience was positive. The other company from Home Advisors. Accent considered my job small, so they threw in pruning a couple of large rhodies and a camilla that were not in the bid. They cleaned up, the estimate I felt was reasonable considering 2 guys were here for over an hour and a half.
I for one will be using them again in the fall. The gentleman in charge of the bid loves his work and is extremely informative about all types of trees, foliage, and vegetation.
The only twirk I would say is that in the course of doing the Camilla, they cut a short hose going to the hose storage box. My water spigot is behind there and the hose is hard to see, so my bet is they didn’t even know it got cut. I didn’t call them about it because I have done stuff like that myself, and the hose is only a few bucks to replace.
So — take this for what it is worth, but they are certainly worth consideration if you are taking bids.

Accent did a GREAT job taking down 4 trees for us. 2 of them were huge! They were professional, pleasant, and kept their word to come back a week later to finish the stump grinding. Will definitely hire them again if we need more trees removed.

They don’t call back when they say they will and appear to be disorganized, rude, and unprofessional.
We purchased a limited time tree service offer through Amazon Local and had Ken Wynne, owner, over to assess the trees needing service. The offer was limited and he shared what we could do with the coupon purchased and what it would cost for additional work we needed.
He didn’t have the needed paper work to leave an estimate but said he’d mail one in a day or two. We really needed more work than just the one coupon.
We got the offer, and didn’t call right away. With about two weeks to go in the offer, we called and asked for another copy of the estimate — and to discuss work before time ran out. I was told someone would get back to me.
No response. A week later, called again — same response.
No response. Around D-​Day — I called again — and received assurance that because they had no gotten back, the deadline would be extended. We wanted to see the estimate — which was promised again, but never showed up.
Two weeks later, we went on a 3 week vacation. A week after getting back — I called again. Ken was on vacation. The gent who answered the phone, I think his name was Steve, said Ken would have to manage whatever I was asking him to do… and then started interrupting and talking right over me before I finished my sentence.
Yes, I was an angry customer — and no, he didn’t listen.
At this point, we may have paid for a useless coupon. We will be contacting Amazon Local to strongly suggest they drop them.

Bought a «deal» through Tacoma dealsaver and had a hard time getting them to call me back (which they did, ultimately). They scheduled a day to come out (last Friday) and never did! Then, when my husband and I attempted to reschedule I was told that the rules were that I couldn’t just redeem my coupon for the full amount (I paid $ 80 for $ 250 worth of service), but I had to pay more in order to redeem the amount. This wasn’t part of the deal. I contacted dealsaver and hope to get my money back.
