Mood Nails

They not only overcharged me, the gel polish cracked and flaked off the very next day… this happened to my daughters nails and her friends at the same time. They said it would be certain amount and overcharged my card when I wasn’t there to sign and doing errand next door, although she did remember when I went back that she recalls my daughter telling her to charge ten dollar tips to each technician (my daughter said she requested a five dollar tip). Wrong! When I went back to give them a chance to make it right they complained and treated my daughter rudely, not to mention her friends mom had to pay for her daughter to get her nails re-​done elsewhere. I mentioned the gel may be expired, they denied and had excuses rather then listen to their customers. They were definitely not eager to make it right. No wonder me and my friends get our nails done elsewhere.

Hana gave me the most relaxing pedicure I have ever had. She is very sweet, doesn’t speak much English, which was unfortunate because a woman that kind is someone I would like to know more. The salon was very nice and new looking, implements were cleaned correctly and while my toes were drying Hana gave the bowl a thorough sanitizing.

I went here for such a long time. Danny was like my psychologist. He listened to me as my mom was passing. And made me feel so comfortable I fell asleep many times in the chair. And he does amazing nail art. His wife just as cute as can be and I think she taught Danny all he knows. She waxes so good. She’s so fast so accurate and painless! I’ve also had pedicures that are just to die for. Love love love the deluxe spa pedi.
By the way did my wedding prettys and was so happy my photog loved getting the fingers and toes shots. I haven’t been able to make it in for 5 months. But finally have a little free time think o will have to drop in cause that’s ok and have the royal treatment by the whole crew!

Just went in for a manicure, the reception I received was very cold. I am a bubbly person and have had my nails done for over 25 years. The nail girl that did my nails wanted me to have gel coat, however I just wanted a basic manicure. I’m not sure if she was not happy that’s all I wanted. The whole process was over in 15 minutes, but the kicker is she did a horrible job. I had paid her before she painted them and made sure I tipped her well to ensure she would do a good job. I came home and someone commented it was a shame I had paid money for the manicure, hat I could have painted them better myself. My work requires me to have a professional, polished look, but now I am so embarrassed with this manicure. I have never written a review on anyone, but am so irritated that I’ve spent good money on a place with poor customer service and a crappy manicure. This place must have gotten a face lift on its shop, but they need new employees, maybe someone who likes her job. I would never give this place another try.

They have updated and cleaned up. I go here regularly now. They are fast and my nails stay in great shape for 3 weeks with just fiberglass (not gel). They don’t have a great selection of nail polish (at least not as good as other places I’ve gone to), but it’s fine for the price and convenient location (close to my house, Safeway, and Starbucks)!. Update ½/​14: They updated again, with all new pedi chairs that are the best I’ve come across. Awesome massage. Really very nice at Mood Nails now. Lots of polish choices, including gelish. Owners are great. Highly recommended, great prices.

My daughter and I went in here as my sister referred her soon-​to-​be daughter in-​law. We went in the day of the wedding and we told them we were going to a wedding. The place is need of a facelift and cleaning. The spa chairs are not clean and the place has a rug (!) that would be better gone than washed. 90% of the nail polish was over half used and cracked looking. The two ladies that my daughter and I had were very nice. But there is one woman there who ought to go someplace else as she obviously thinks customers get in her way of her day. They had us sit at a drying table that had a florescent light for drying! Who does that? Your nails don’t dry. Of course when we left, the first bump smeared our nails. Never again. Not even in a pinch.
