Some people just don’t understand customer service. I’m disappointed. My mom, sister, and five nieces live in Colfax, and as something of a procrastinator, it’s great for me to have a go-​to florist for last minute deliveries. Unfortunately, this will not be that florist.
I ordered online an elegant, all-​white bouquet for my niece’s graduation in the 45 – 60 dollar range. The online ordering was straightforward, but about two hours later I received a call saying they had a couple of issues: 1) They were low on white flowers, 2) There would be an additional $ 18.95 delivery charge since the recipient is in Colfax.
The issue with the flowers was fairly easily resolved. And, I understand about the delivery charge, but I wasn’t home when they called and unable to give them my credit card info at that moment. So I suggested that maybe since the bouquet I originally ordered was unavailable and had to be changed, and that since there was no mention of an additional fee online when I ordered and I was now being inconvenienced, maybe just this once they could waive the delivery fee and I emphasized I would then be a returning customer. Nope. They said, «Okay we’ll charge you $ 12.50 instead of $ 18.95.» Really? Geez, just take the $ 18.95. Almost sad. I asked if the number on my cell was a good number to return the call to pay the fee in an hour or so. Nope, she started to give me a different number and I was not able to write it down obviously, so I asked her to call me later. She did. I started to give her my Amex when she stopped me to tell me they don’t take Amex. But I used Amex to place the order online, I told her. «Yeah but we don’t take… Blah blah.» Just one thing after the other. It almost makes me laugh when businesses act like they don’t want your business! I would’ve been ordering from this place all the time and I told them as much. They’d rather get their precious delivery fee than gain a loyal regular customer. And they really need to get it together with technology, sync their website and take all forms of payment.

My sisters birthday is today and I waited until the last minute to send her flowers. I live in San Diego and neither 1800 flowers or edible arrangements deliver to colfax where my sister lives, so I decided to try a local florist. I found this company through Google and they were able to deliver the flowers the same day and deliver for an extra fee since it is a little outside of their delivery parameters. Even with the extra fee and the total of the flowers, they didn’t charge me an arm and a leg and delivered my sisters flowers in just a few hours ! I am so happy with their service and will continue to use them when I need to send my sister flowers to her local area. Thank you for helping to make my sisters birthday special when we are miles apart.

Very professional and talented, Petals and Sweets designed 5 center pieces for a party we were hosting. We hosted a party at our restaurant and the guest asked me to arrange flowers for the tables. Petals and Sweets created beautiful custom designs and the guests could not have been more pleased. The tables looked festive and full of lovely color. Thank you, I will use you for my next event.

Britney just did all the GORGEOUS flowers for our wedding! She was beyond professional, and nailed the EXACT vision we had. Her blooms are still fresh and no put around my and my families homes (we got married on Saturday). Her proposal was spot on and delivered everything she promised! I would highly recommend using Petals and Sweets for your wedding :)

We are from out of town. Stopped in to get an arrangement for a birthday surprise. Arrived before the posted opening time. They opened on time, the lady operating the store was very professional, and quite pleasant to work with. The transition was quick and pain free, unlike other reviews from the past. My mother loved the flowers. I WOULD recommend this shop to anyone.

First time ordering from this company. I live in Southern California and wanted to order a special bouquet for my Mother’s 60^th birthday! I found the perfect arrangement for her and was excited it was from a local florist near her work. I called the day of delivery, her birthday, since I had made the order online weeks before, the associate on the phone was helpful, friendly and clear. The flowers where delivered when she had specified and my mother was very pleased. She sent me a photo of the arrangement and I couldn’t be more satisfied!

For Mother’s Day my children ordered this amazingly unique arrangement to be delivered while we were at brunch. The colors & flower choices aren’t like your grocery store flowers! My arrangement felt more personal than others I have received over the years. I felt it was made just for me.

Since you found it necessary to send me a message privately I to feel it necessary to «review» you the «new owner» so that people make sure they know what kind of person/​business they are dealing with.
So clearly you have no idea what your talking about. As the «new» owner I would suggest that you get your facts straight BEFORE you «mouth» off about a situation you do not have the facts on. When we came in to your shop we never said anything to your florist about the flowers and when my DAUGHTER came back in, NOT me, she was anything but rude, she is the one who apologized and said that she was sorry that maybe she misunderstood. I waited in the car! So again, clearly you have a very poor sense of customer service and maybe you will find that out when your wondering why your business is not doing well. Some advise… let your words FOLLOW your thoughts.

My experience with Petals & Sweets was fantastic! I love how easy it is to navigate their website and view all of the arrangements.
I ordered for same day delivery and they were extremely timely and friendly! I had a quick question, so I called the shop before ordering online and the associate was really helpful and gave great recommendations.

Effective December of 2014, this business is under new ownership — and for good reason! It sounds like the old owner ran the place into the ground. But I’m very happy to say that the new owners are two adorable young ladies who are exceptional. They are easy to work with, professional, and affordable! I came in with a very low budget for wedding flowers and it wasn’t even an issue. They are providing me with exactly what I was hoping for and more (extra flowers for centerpieces) perfectly on budget! I was laughed at by another florist in auburn for even suggesting that I get flowers for those prices. These ladies are amazing! USE THEM!

I received a message advising that there is new management. So, of course I am curious and want to give this place a second try,.
I ordered the special of the day and BOY am I impressed. I received a phone call that my delivery was made plus an email… very efficient.
But the best part is the flower arrangement. Simply gorgeous!
I will be buying again and highly recommend this shop!!!

I think that there is new management here. We had a great experience with the new florists. In the past, it was a hassle to get my order placed and now it was a breeze.

Website says if you place an order within a certain time, the flowers will be delivered the same day. I ordered an arrangement of flowers for someone’s birthday, and several hours later received an email saying «can we deliver tomorrow-​our driver has left for the day» I responded no, their birthday is today not tomorrow when it is «convenient» for you. I called, they answered and said it will be delivered and hung up.
They did nothing to make up for them delivering a day after it was promised. Very unprofessional small business. I wish I would have read the poor reviews here before giving them my money.

Nora, the business owner was very helpful and created a wonderful Fall floral design for a special someone and delivered it as requested.

About 5 years ago this was a very good flower shop. Went in about a week ago waited over 10mins without eye contact from the woman behind the counter 5 feet away from me, I walked out went to Bel Air.

If I could give zero stars I would! Embarrassing business practices and when called on their major mistakes will blame the customer! I used to be a valued customer here but now I’ll take my business to O’shays where I am treated with respect!

Got my mom a dozen roses and they only lasted her 3-day’s. I would of thought they would of lasted at least a week or more. While I was there I also got a Haystack that wasn’t very good either. Tasted old. Must of been made in a factory. Thank god the girl was nice who took care of me otherwise I would of given them «NO STARS».
