WAYTOOOVERPRICED!!! I mean really? A candle for $ 12.How bout a small Valentine’s vase for $ 10… or a badly damaged leather puke color sofa from 1980 that would be ugly at the dump… $ 75.marked down from $ 145! Lame product. not selected well and they need to fire some of their pricers. Too bad cause Salvation Army is such a good cause:(Must be bad Management.

Have not been in the store yet, only donated treasure. I had a truck full of stuff and let a few people go before me with just a few things to donate, but I quickly noticed that there’s a steady stream of cars pulling in to donate. If I kept letting cars go before me, I would have been there 45 min. You can’t walk the ramp of the truck to help the guy out, but you can set things on the back end of the truck. There’s only one guy out there accepting donations, so you might be there a while if there’s a line and people are asking for receipts.

Lots of great stuff at this store! Bought 4 purses at ½ off! I also bought a beautiful painting of a windmill in the Netherlands for $ 20! Well worth every penny I spent!

The store is not good. I have two small children, and they do not have shopping carts or allow strollers in the store. There is no way to look through the items they have while trying to carry one and hold onto the other. I don’t know why they bother to carry childrens items at all, since mothers are clearly not welcome. I have run into rude employees more times than I care to think about. Also, they always have lots of unpriced items, and they won’t sell them to you if there is no price tag. I don’t go here anymore. Instead I drive to the one in Citrus Heights, or go other local thrift shops if I want to go out thrift shopping.

Four stars for offering 50% off, 75%+ off their tagged pricing days ! I have bought really decent furniture(such as kitchen table, dressers, etc.) that ended up costing literally only a few dollars. Loses one star for rude employees at the loading dock that have some sort of chip on their shoulder about needing to back-up exactly one centimeter away from their loading dock, when I didn’t really want them getting inside the bed of, or even touching my truck and loading a damn thing for me.

This is a nice sized store with a modest selection but way overpriced. I really think it’s a shame. I’ve gone into this store a few times and had things been priced better I probably would have spent $ 20 or more, but left with nothing because I’m not willing to pay $ 9 for an old, no name, cute but not incredible nic-nac. I swear some items were priced higher than their original sales price. A good selection of children’s book though and those are actually a bargain.

While on the hunt for a funky tie for my Black and White Ball costume, we checked out the Salvation Army store. Lots of junk, but some interesting items as well. Rachel bought a painting for the bedroom(happened to match some others we had) and I did find a great tie that I wouldn’t feel bad about covering in glitter paint for the Ball. All in all, not bad, but I agree that the carpets need to be replaced(or at least deep cleaned).
