gorgeous handblown glass… very special gifts for yourself or someone else…
sam stang’s artwork in glass will knock your socks off. scrumtious bold color and design, influenced by italian glassblowers (he studied with a master) and beautifully complemented by his talented business partner, kaeko maehata (also his wife, i believe).
i was with a group who was given a private glass-​blowing demonstration at their studio in augusta, mo. i purchased a lovely piece that kaeko did while we were there — a small green and blue bud vase.
plan a spring or fall trip to augusta to see the studio, and stop for lunch at one of the missouri wineries in the area.
