Expensive. Expensive. Expensive. Oh did I say Expensive. Quality of food nothing to write home about. Service was ok. Would I go again — unlikely unless someone in my party wants to go.

I have to admit, I had never been to PF Chang’s before because I did not have high hopes on a large chain Asian restaurant. And au contraire was the reality! I was happily surprised by how well decorated the interior was, how prompt the service was, and most importantly, how good the food was! I really enjoyed the modern twist on the Asian dishes; they weren’t bastardized versions, instead, they were fresh takes on old classics I grew up eating. I would definitely go back. The portion size was also excellent for the price — and I highly recommend coming here for happy hour! There is a large variety of menu items for up to half price, and are great to split. Recommendations include: calamari, tacos, and lettuce wrap.

Went early on a Friday night. My husband and I were celebrating our tenth anniversary. We asked for a booth, were met with resistance as the booth needed to be cleaned and there were other tables available. The place was not filing up yet. We didn’t mind waiting, mentioned it was our anniversary, but still had to practically beg. The anniversary comment was un-acknowledged. Our waiter was very extremely unattentative. You’d think that in an upscale, expensive restaurant the waitstaff would be trained better. He made our experience a bad one. The food was good, but the lack of personalization and attentiveness made the visit like eating cardboard at best. I doubt we’ll come back. Particularly not for a special occasion.

Eaten here several times. Food is always good and the service has always been on point. One time they messed up and had us wait for almost 30minutes — before we even thought about asking for anything, the manager offered us 3 free appetizers. They are always willing to help us with weird requests for our kids too.

Service was at an all time low — server was distracted and scattered all over dining room. She was interrupted by another server when talking to us and acted almost matter of fact to being cut off by another server. Summer Shandy drink was watered down lemonade and the dishes were overly garnished with green part of onion… and two of dishes were cold by the time they arrived at our table. Dessert menu was not available as they had run out of three items… all around very disappointing experience.

I came in today with the family. We were seated immediately even though it was very busy. The hostess did not have any silverware and said she would bring it. We placed our order immediately and our appetizers came out. we still did not receive our utensils and napkins. We asked 3 times and the hostess finally brought some very rudely. The food and dinner was hot and tasteful. The server was awesome but the hostess was awful. Need to have better training for the Ok initial contact with guests

Always love the food here. We had the lettuce wraps that never fail to satisfy, chicken satays, and pork street tacos. Always good and happy hour prices before 7. We also had an Asian pear mojito that was delicious. It is actually lime rum, muddled mint, simple syrup, Apple pucker, and a splash of soda. I amazingly tastes like pear. Gotta get another one soon. I am adding this to my best happy hours in Augusta list.

I normally love this place, but the last few times we’ve been here the service has been terribly slow & the orders are WRONG when they finally serve your food. Not happy dining.

Best thing about this place is the ambience. Dim lighting, candle light, Chinese decorations, and light music. The food is pretty mediocre though, especially considering the ridiculous pricing. I ordered Chang’s Spicy Chicken($ 15.25), vegetable lettuce wraps($ 9.25), and Chang’s Lobster rice($ 17.25). The spicy chicken was about the same quantity and quality as something equivalent from Panda Express. The lobster rice was ok, but nothing particularly special. Only small pieces of lobster and the majority was just fried rice. For $ 17.25 I was expecting something awesome. The vegetable wrap was too salty. Overall, a decent experience but next time I think I will stick with Panda Express.

Came in and we were seated right away. Our server Branden was very cordial and helpful. And they have a large variety in their gluten free menu. We ordered the beef broccoli and fried rice and it was delicious. A very big serving of food. Definitely will come back more often.

Don’t understand the low rating. I’m Asian & eat out at Asian restaurants everywhere we travel, including authentic Asian restaurants in big cities. PFC is not quite authentic, but a fusion modern Asian cooking. My family always enjoy our experience at the Augusta Mall location. They say their meats are never frozen, but kept fresh in a refrigerator. Our favorite dishes: Lettuce Wrap, Handmade Dumplings, Mongolian Beef, Shaking Beef, Walnut Shrimp w/Melons, Pad Thai, Bannana Spring Rolls. We get the $ 100 gift cards for $ 80 at Costco.

I have always liked P.F. Chang’s. We usually order orange chicken, spicy green beans, veggie spring rolls, and cucumbers. I have never been disappointed. Much better than the typical msg and overly salted Chinese food you find along Washington Road.

Great service. Food came out quick. I love their lettuce wraps, Calamari, and kung pao chicken. I think their proportions have shrunk some but still was good.

I like P. F. Chang’s China Bistro. I’d visit more, but it’s always busy because of it’s location beside The Augusta Mall. Every time I come the service is great and the quick. This particular night we opted for outdoor seating. It was very humid, but I really like Summer time because of the option to sit outside. Luckily, P.F. Chang’s China Bistro has ceiling fans outside and it kept the air flowing. This area is first come first serve, so really no waiting. Our waiter was also the bartender, which was great because he was on point. I had my favorite the Salt & Pepper Prawns with brown rice and my friend had the Calamari. Both great options. Oh, I also had Tiramisu for dessert. Overall, a cool place to dine after rush hours. Parking close to the restaurant is kind of hard because of the mall, but there a huge parking lot adjacent from the restaurant that you will surely find parking.

I am posting this review again after P F Chang had it removed. This shows you their tactics. Rather than trying to please customers, they fight to have factual reviews removed so you don’t know the truth. I went with a few friends for dinner at the Augusta, GA P F Chang. Waiter came, brought menus, and took our drink order. I was super happy they had Pabst Blue Ribbon as a choice of beer, so it started off right. After taking a few drinks from my beer, I got up to use the can, when I returned, my beer was gone(it had plenty of beer left in it, but to be fair it was about half which is plenty to me. It took a good ten minutes before the waiter came back(which would have been fine if they left my beer as I was still drinking it). He said he took the bottle because it was empty and I I told him that there was still beer in my bottle. Essentially it boiled down to him saying I had to pay for another beer even though my first one wasn’t empty. I argued the point and he seamed to capitulate. I got another beer and continued on. The food came and we all shared our food so we could try some of the other dishes. The food was good, but nothing really special. Got the bill, and sure enough he charged me for the second beer since he took away the first one. I really should have pushed it, but I didn’t think it was worth the effort. If you want a better dining experience, rent a movie, buy your favorite beer at the store, get a «to go» box from a local buffet and take it home. 1⁄3 the price of P F Chang and three times better experience.

Pathetic. I ask specifically for for my meal a certain way clearly and simple. The cook screwed it up and jacked it up more when asked to fix it. I told the server to not even bring me another dish. I won’t visit this restaurant again. If the chef is that lazy and half a55ed then there is nothing I want them to cook for me.

1. Location – inside the parking lot area of the Augusta Mall. The outside has a large horse statue and it is across from the Apple store and Barnes and Noble. 2. Payment method – Cash and Credit Card. Discounts available. 3. Staff – what you would expect at a restaurant. College aged waiters and waitresses dressed in their all black PF Chang uniforms. 4. Taste/quality – I studied the menu for about five minutes. Being that this is a «Chinese» restaurant, I would expect Chinese food. However, I saw Pad Thai – which is Thai. Um, okay? Anyway, I ordered the Kung Pao chicken with brown rice and it was pretty good. Before they brought my food, the waiter brought me a platter that had three sauces on it: spicy hot sauce, sweet soy sauce, and a spicy horse radish/mustard sauce. Once my food arrived, the first thing I noticed was the small portions. I received a very small bowl of brown rice and about 12 little nuggets of chicken. I first tasted the chicken without the sauce. It was tastee. Then I tried the chicken with each one of the sauces. I enjoyed the soy sauce the most, the hot sauce second, and the mustard sauce the least. 5. Cleanliness – The place was pretty clean. It was nicely decorated inside, however, it seemed a little on the«dark» side. Overall: I thought the food was a bit expensive. The total cost for my meal was $ 16 and the portions were small. For less than $ 10.00, I could go to a regular Chinese fast food restaurant, get more food, and a small drink for less than PF Changs. Would I come again? Even though the food was good, maybe for a special occasion, but definitely not anytime soon.

The experience was good. The food was tasty but a little pricy for the flavor. I wasn’t super impressed(first time to a PF Changs). The service was very nice and professional. I was hoping for a little more kick to the sauces. Over all it was a good experience.

I was glad I was given a gift card because if I had paid for that food I’d have been quite upset! Our server was great. And now for the rest of the story… We ordered the two for 39.95 which included a choice of soup each, one appetizer, an entrée each and a dessert to share. I ordered hit and sour soup and my friend egg drop soup. When I got my soup, I thought it was awful dark. It looked like brown gravy. After a spoonful, I discovered why. It was made with beef base that’s used to make brown gravies, veggie beef soup etc. My friend’s soup was also made with a base — chicken base. It tasted like chicken noodle soup. The salt & pepper calamari was lukewarm and had the salt and pepper in a bowl on the side. It was sad and bland. A manager did ask was everything ok and I told him the above and he didn’t really know what to say. I told him it was ok.(I still had a couple if dished to eat!). We got our Kung Pao Shrimp with white rice and there was plenty of shrimp and it was hot. However, what makes Kung Pao, Kung Pao is the Kung Pao pepper that’s used in it’s preparation. I grow them and the peppers used were not Kung Pao peppers. I guess if you don’t care about what kind if pepper was used, it wouldn’t matter, but being a chilehead I do. All peppers have different heat levels and flavors. I had to add srirachi to get some heat to my dish. I brought dessert home and have yet to eat it. It was crowded, noisy and the music was David Bowie, Marvin Gaye whom I like, I just wasn’t expecting to hear it in there. I would have thought that an upscale restaurant with such high prices(some appetizers as high as $ 15.95, entrees higher) would not skimp on authenticity. I like the food a whole lot better at Little China’s in the strip mall down the street.
