DONOTSTAYHERE! My stay was terrible. I requested a «non-smoking» room and I was told I was being placed in a «non-smoking» room. Yet and still, I was placed in a room on the 1st floor that several people clearly had previously smoked in. The stale and smoke-filled air made left me with a sore throat, and I could not open the window due to being in a 1st floor room that has NOSECURITYSCREEN on the window. Not to mention, every time I ran the AC unit the entire room smelled like mold and urine! The view from my room was facing a back alleyway with heaps of trash all over. The room was not thoroughly cleaned prior to my arrival; the mirrors were smeared, the toilet paper roll was half used, the toilet was clogged from previous use, the linens did not smell fresh, the jacuzzi tub was not cleaned out and there wasn’t even a phone in my room!!! In the past, I’ve stayed in a few Red Roof Inns in Ilinois that were very clean but this particular hotel was just filthy and the employees act like they could care less. This is by far the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in!

Where do I start… I usually stay at a red roof if available. But I will never stay in this hotel again. The first«non-smoking room» had cigarette burns all over the room, and smelled like fresh cigarettes. It had the air conditioning wide open to cover up the stink of wet carpet. We were given a second room, only to find it mildly better. The room had no soap, broke down furniture, and a TV so old that I’m pretty sure they got it from my grandmother. The ceilings had water stains all over them. The hotel hallways are so hot that you sweat getting to your room. The only nice thing I can say about this hotel was the young lady that checked us in. This is the worst red roof Inn I have ever stayed in, and will never stay in again. and by all means do not try to make a phone call even to the front desk the phones do not work. So my advice is RUN!!!

Stayed at this location recently during Masters week and was pleasantly surprised. Wasn’t expecting a high-end hotel experience, but did get was exactly what we needed — a clean and comfortable hotel room at a relatively reasonable price given that it was Masters week. The staff was very friendly and the complimentary breakfast was decent. Also, $ 30 shuttle to and from Augusta National was great. Bottom line: a good bet if you’re looking for a basic, clean hotel during Masters week at a reasonable price. After getting rained out of the tournament this year and the opportunity for tickets next year, I will definitely consider staying here again.

Horrible. Every bad hotel cliché in one evening. From the dirty rooms with broken and soiled furniture. To the non-smoking room with an ashtray. Awful bed. Not even shampoo in the room. In a very slow night putting 2 guests in rooms right next to each other on an empty floor = 4am sexfest(including banging on walls) from the hourly rate neighbors. After a night of almost no sleep we explained this on checkout and the employee told us ‘perhaps we were jealous it was not us having all the fun’. This RRI has effectively crossed the whole chain off my list forever.
