Been coming here for a long time. Excellent people, wonderful inside and the food is always good and consistent.

Over priced for the quality of food. Service was friendly but slow. Skip it!

Friendly service and a decent value but otherwise rather forgettable. Refresh the interior, update the menu and take some risk with an item or two

Hmmmm, elegant would not be the first word that comes to mind when one walks in the door… unless you are comparing it to Taco Bell. Nothing on the menu is particularly appetizing… I have been twice and I ordered the chili bowl each time. The chili is nothing to write home about, spicy enough, comes with plenty of cheese and served with Cooler Ranch Doritos… yup… doritos. Need I say more?

OKAY — I wish we had Unilocal 10 years ago as that was when I hired 6th @ Watkins to cater my parents 50th anniversary party… they would have received 5STARS and this past Sept. we celebrated their 60th(and my parents remembered what a great time and great FOOD we had 10 years ago) — the girls were so helpful in accommodating my wants back then — the key thing was«no crudités, meatballs and chicken wings» — they were brilliant! Ambience — C Service — B– Food — C– Price — B BUTNOW zooming up 10 years later… 1 friend who had the shrimp po-boy the day before invites 3 of us to experience lunch last week! AMBIANCE — this go round, I was surprised that not much has changed as far as décor — still very 80’s with that hunter green rug, flowery wall paper, plastic flowery table cloth? and fake flowers? — so dated… SERVICE — it wasn’t busy and the server was very nervous and seemed anxious to rush orders in… maybe new? FOOD — hmmm… wasn’t anything I would ever want to try again… myself and party of 3 had: Grilled chicken salad — I’m not a fan of any restaurant that is still serving iceberg lettuce(didn’t see any other option) — BUT I hear that the FRIED(so southern) chicken salad is good — I’ll try that next time — if I go back. Crab cakes — too much bread filling and seafood seasoning tasting(where’s the CRAB!) Shrimp po-boy — boring — but I hear it’s «GOOD,» if you like boring! and I had the«BUBBLE sandwich» — which was a good concept … an opened face single sliced sandwich with beef, turkey, ham with melted cheese … and my least favorite of this combo, was the iceberg lettuce underneath the meats with drenched coleslaw type yellow dressing. Concept was good… but bread swimming in dressing and iceberg lettuce… BLECH! Yeah… don’t really think I would go back to this place to be impressed by food, ambiance or service… as there are other options in the city upping their game for customers.

Sixth at Watkins is somewhere you would expect your boss to go to lunch. I was invited by a family friend; otherwise, I probably wouldn’t have a clue that this place existed. While not in the ritziest part of downtown Augusta, the tiny dining room is decorated very elegantly. I felt like I was walking into a golf course country club with its high top bar section that leads directly into a small, probably 12-table dining room. The lunch menu was very impressive with a wide range of soups, salads, sandwiches and sides. I went on a limb and tried the burrito. It was large, but also very good! Another person at my table tried something called«the bubble». According to the looks on his stuffed face, this sandwich should be a staple of downtown lunch spots. The service was very prompt and eager, so no complaints there! Overall, a very nice(I wouldn’t say uppity… but, uppity) place to host guests from out of town, or take a date!
