I brought in my 4 month old headphones that were working in one ear and they replaced them no questions asked. Totally, hassle free customer experience. I know Bose charges a premium for their products after but feel $ well spent after this level of service.

I have been looking at Bose systems for many years and have always been concerned with the price point for the performance. After working with Christian Flasza, a sales specialist at the Bose Factory Store, I bought one on the spot. His knowledge of the product and his willingness to go above and beyond to get me comfortable with the transaction was great. He took the time that most sales people don’t to make sure I knew what I was getting and how it worked. He even took the time to show me how to set it up in the store. I plan on making all my future Bose purchases through Christian.

Bose stores in outlets and regular malls are always sleek and glossy. This one is no different. Beautifully displayed wares, the usual ability to test them out as well. The employees here are usually pretty knowledgeable about the product and this store was no exception. But helps when you have a terrific product which often sells itself. I came to check out the new noise canceling in ear headphones. I have had the over ear ones for years and love them. They work very well. The salesman knew the product and asked what phone I have as these are phone type specific. That is a pity to me, makes them less flexible than I would have hoped. But ok. 3 stars, great store as they all are and I’ll be back for sure. But nothing made this store a «cut above the rest» for me, they really do have a good plan as they are all so similar and high quality.

Audio stores tend not to attract very much of my attention, well Bose in general due to the overwhelming cost it takes to have the best sound. Which is why I’ll go to(hate to say it) Sony, because, it’s affordable and better than average. I worked for Sharper Image for a time and always remember selling Bose products. A credit card would get thrown at me and I was told to ring up a couple Bose items. Customer unaware of what they were buying, but it was more about buying the name. They are great products with a pretty good warranty. Your money buys a great value and product. But. it’s a big name or idea of a product your buying, not so much the whole package if that makes sense. That’s been my take so far. Also Bose products are so … small. In most anyone’s mind, bigger is better yeah? Bose is kind of like David, small but packing a lot of power which comes with a hefty tag. Nice store with many store models to play with. Everything from home theater equipment to iPod stereos to the clearest of ear buds. Speaking of ear buds, they have a in store setup with buds and headphones you can test out. Headphones are good because you have the padding for ear comfort and many can be tested with a pleasant sound offering. Then there are ear buds; am I the only one that thinks it’s gross that these are being inserted into multiple earlobes day in and out? I didn’t see any disposable bud inserts and would like to know whether they get cleaned? Ever? Store employees are too novice. Some know their products well and are eager to get you into the store to watch an informational DVD or product display. Others haven’t any tact and come right out with the sales pitch scaring potential business right out the door. Better store leadership could wrangle their salesmen, that could probably instigate my business in the future. On my most recent visit my cousin was on the trigger to purchase a new home theater system. The salesman walked into a perfect afternoon, but couldn’t seal the deal.

Stopped in for last minute Christmas shopping and I was the only one in the store on Christmas Eve morning… I don’t think the guys in the store were too happy to have to wait on me… and they kept a very close eye on my kids(give me a break). I am a BIGFAN of the QC3 noise cancelling head phone(I use them when I travel on planes every week) and I bought my wife a pair of the in ear buds for her ipod(I have these and they are great also). Too bad the people in this store are a bunch of jerks!

I walked in here because I felt the bass on my Bose on ear headphones was not as tight as before so I wanted to do a comparison with the store model. I realized my headphones weren’t defective, just my laptop equalizer was out of whack. Since I was there, I decided to test out the other headphones. I really didn’t notice a big difference in sound quality between my on ear headphones($ 170) and the Quiet Comfort models($ 300-$ 400). I think you’re basically shelling out significant amount just for noise canceling. The surprise among the headphones were the in-ear triports. If you have been using stock ipod earphones and listen to heavy bass songs like hip-hop and house, these will blow you away. I think $ 99 is a fair price for these earphones especially if you enjoy bass. You can get them for about $ 59 on ebay but there maybe some warranty issues. However, I still would like to test drive some Shure earphones. Every time I go into a Bose store, I listen to their demos and I get the urge to update my old Bose system. But you know why they sound so good in the store? When you’re listening to the surround sound in the 6 foot environment, it sounds impressive. But, when you take the system home and setup in your living room, the sound may distort to fill up that airspace. Also, if you notice, where ever they sell Bose, there are no other high end speakers to compare to. As far the expo rooms go, these rooms are acoustically engineered, so there is no way your dry wall living room can reproduce the sound you get in the expo rooms. Bose corp is a marketing genius and make decent units for home theater cinema experience. But, there are a lot of other brands that out perform Bose for the same price or less. Also should note, to accommodate in building such a compact satellite speaker, some of the frequencies will be unaccounted for, and some midrange sound can be lost. So when I get rid of my Bose speakers, I may look into buying some NHT speakers. And hopefully I can buy some Harbeth speakers for listening to classical, jazz, and vocal songs.
