LOVE the bags but the selection is poor & you don’t really save that much. Also the staff is not very knowledgable. Some bags do have defects so look very carefully since all sales are final.

I went shopping with my sister last weekend and everyone was friendly and helpful! We asked about the quality of the leather and they gave us a lot of info. Also told us how to clean the purse. Some of the items were on clearance and they are such good deals! Parking was pretty difficult, but there is a lot of construction going on there.

The two employees were plenty helpful today. One young man told me what to clean my D&B bag with(Pledge wipes or plain Dove soap) when I mentioned the white bag I have is getting a bit dirty. He also kindly put a bag on hold for me. When we came back, he remembered & said he’d get my bag on hold as soon as he was finished with his current transaction with another customer. While I was checking out, the other young female employee grabbed a new, wrapped bag out from somewhere & gave it to me instead of the one I took from display, and I hadn’t even asked. I felt both employees were friendly, helpful & accommodating. Plenty of colorful, quality bags. Great prices, too! Most shelves held«additional % off» signs. The bag I bought was already 60%(or 65%) off then an additional 20% off. Also had a flyer packed with deals for most of the stores & D&B offered a free gift(keychain) with $ 125 purchase. A lot of styles seemed to be last one on the shelf, but it’s possible they had more stashed somewhere else since an employee brought me a brand new wrapped one(but it was just one of those small vinyl totes, not the leather bag from the shelf I also bought.) Always been a D&B fan, and this store was great. I sense the bad past reviews encouraged the store team to hire better employees. I’d go back!

I have been going to this Dooney & Bourke store since it opened. Always find what I want and NEVER have a problem getting someone to help me. The girls check in the stock room if I want a style or color that isn’t on the floor. They are always friendly and helpful. They even allow us to bring our little dog, Bentley in the store while we shop. Linda B. Schaumburg, IL

Quality bags at a semi-reasonable price. The good news is there were a lot of options available at many different price points. And the line was non-existent here over the holidays when the Coach line was a bazillion people long in the rain and cold outside. The not so good news… good luck getting any assistance whatsoever until you have you credit card in hand and you are practically waving it at the employee standing behind the register looking off into the distance.

Decent selection of bags at really good prices but staff was terrible. I don’t live too far away so I stop in every once in a while to buy gifts, etc. There is zero customer service in this store. Of the three employees there today, 8÷5÷11, none even greeted customers as they came in the door. Try to ask a question and you will be met with a rude attitude. No «thank you» at check out, just a «here you go»

Coming from the city, the outlet malls can be a haven to get some updates for your wardrobe at a fraction of the price. So a friend and I went to the Prime Outlets in Aurora to see what goodies could be had. Amongst the places we went was the Dooney & Bourke, the handbag /accessories maker that features the famous duck logo. The store itself is rather spacious and well-maintained, and you have a great assortment of products from current and previous years’ lines. Where they can do for better is their personnel. The girls here can use a class in etiquette and client services(i.e. staring at all of the minorities in the store, making faces, and following people like hawks) — sorry, it’s enough to take my business elsewhere where people aren’t obviously ethnophobic or immature. Seems rather silly, considering how plentiful, diverse, and successful many patrons of this Outlet Mall are.
