We bought a Groupon worth $ 40.00, it cost $ 20.00, they charged $ 15.00 admission and had only a partial menu of veal food. We paid in total $ 35.00 and couldn’t get what we came for

All this line dancing is awful! I came on a Wednesday which is ladies night and after 10 they play so many pop and line dances… And then I gave it try on Saturday and laterally it was all line dancing. If the DJ would just play country this would be a great bar.

Sucks! They say they change dj’s out and they have the same one every Wednesday who does nothing more then keep his wife and kids on the dance floor. Room of 100 people waiting until the wife’s play list runs through so they can dance. Super boring and inconsiderate. Use to be fun until it turned into ground hog day :(wish I could give zero stars. Make the drive to somewhere who has the best interest of the customer in mind and not the staff, it’s worth it. You can tell by the broken down floors, bathrooms, deck and beers on ice and not in coolers. If you don’t pay attention to the people who pay you, they will eventually find a new place to go.

Wednesday night LADIESDRINKFREE until 11pm. If you like to drink and dance this is the place for you! The dance floor is always full. People of all ages are dancing and even together. This makes for a fun time. But beware girls of some of the creepy men… Say no if you don’t feel comfortable dancing with someone. Dancing not your thing? The people watching is fabulous! Grab a beer, pull up a chair, and enjoy the show.

I was from out of town they wouldn’t let me wear my baseball cap into the bar. they elected to hold my baseball cap for me and when I try to contact him because I forgot it they would not answer their phone I give them one star I will improve it if they still have my baseball cap when I go back and pick it up

The Stampede absolutely redeemed itself with concert last Friday. Sound checks were minimal and not disruptive. The band started on time and was very good! AND the website had all the right information.

Wednesday night dance lessons for $ 5 and after that ladies drink FREE, men get in for $ 5…I love this place on Wednesdays! People here are better at welcoming«outsiders» than Toby Keith or the Grizzly. The dj is always playing the best selection whether old or new too.

We headed out on a Friday night. It’s a good time, but for the cost of cover would have been a better time had there been a bigger crowd. Was informed that Fridays probably not the best night to go – maybe Wednesday or Saturday? Another time I guess.

Good venue, but service is deplorable. Went there with a large party for my wife’s birthday on a Saturday night. Reserved several days in advance, but that didn’t help. Table service for cocktails was so slow we ended going to the only open bar and waiting in line. We wanted to order food and it took over an hour to get our order placed and almost another hour to get our food. If all you are doing is dancing, this place is good, but don’t expect any sort of service.

This place is awesome! I have passed by sooo many times and never felt it would be a good idea to stop. I wasn’t sure how the crown would be or if it would be anything like the dance halls we have in Texas. Turns out the crowd is really cool! Its an older crowd that genuinely seems to be having a good time. We are here on a Friday around 7pm, there seems to be dancing instructions going on, pretty cool. The bartender actually reached out asked my name and shook my hand, now that’s service.

Going to bars, never mind a place that could be called any kind of club, is not really my thing anymore. However my wife and I started going on Wednesday at 6:30 for the line dancing lessons. The instructors are great and they make it fun. There is enough variety to keep it interesting and it breaks up our week nicely. The lessons are $ 5 but it’s also ladies night so my wife gets some free drinks so I feel it’s a very fair deal. Just don’t try to wear a baseball hat inside. Cowboy hats are apparently ok. Some lawyer probably came up with that rule. Being from Montana and working on a ranch I rarely wear a proper cowboy hat but my ball cap is nearly always on me, so this threw me a bit the first time. I’d like to see the lawyer or insurance salesman that came up with the rule tied to the mechanical bull but I suppose those city folk are smarter than me. We normally grab some food here as we are coming straight from work and the burgers are decent. Pro tip here though get the pork wings. Super tasty and plenty filling. We never stay later than 9 just because of our schedule but in the hours we are there we really enjoy our time at the Stampede. Great way to spend a Wednesday evening. One of the bartenders told me that Wednesday is their busiest night so if you’re looking for a large crowd that is probably the night you want to go.

I went with a regular on a Wednesday night. That’s a pretty hot night for this place, probably due to the 5 $ dance instructions. If you get there for the lessons you get in free and get 5 free drink coupons! What? Its a fun place to go to dance or people watch. There were all types here; beginners, advanced, old, young, cool, stuck up… you will be able to find like minded people here. I actually tried the chicken wings here and they were actually pretty good. I asked for extra veggies and devoured them… great dancing food it turns out!!! You can find me here on Wednesday nights for sure now… Great way to break up the week… cheap, fun and home in bed by 11.

Meh is right. They now charge ladies to get in on LADIESNIGHT. Their excuse is that some lame guy sued because he felt it was unfair that ladies got in free on LADIESNIGHT and he had to pay. To be fair, you still get 5 free drink tickets, but as with most other bars, you still have to pay for drinks if you want good ones or beers in a bottle. The round dance floor is the only perk I can think of. The bull is fun to ride and the staff is pretty nice compared to the Grizzly Rose.

Large venue with a great dance floor and DJ. We came here on a Friday evening and had an excellent time dancing away. We ordered the burger and beer combo($ 6 total) and were very impressed by the made-from-scratch beef patties: thick, flavorful and cooked to perfection. The crowd is diverse and the atmosphere welcoming.

Okay — -I used to come here and loved it. Loved to country dance, swing, enjoy the music, hang out with friends and have a good time. Garth would jam, Clint Black and some George strait… This was circa 1990. I was younger then. I came back to… A time machine. Same place and I swear same people were here that were there. Men are older women are cougars. *laughing*. The music is eclectic, not all country. It really… Realllly… Really needs a makeover. The drinks are still served in plastic cups, no not even solo cups… Watch out for cover charges and special events. Sunday we went for Mexican band night. The bands were really good, the cover was too high, and the beers with a super high cover, way… way… Too much, 4.00 for a bud light and a 40.00 cover??? Yikes!!! I would say this place is on its last legs. I can’t believe we went the first time… Then tonight sealed the two stars. The only reason it is not 1 is the bands they has were decent…

I went on a wednesday night for the«free drinks and a good time» I had been hearing about. Only to leave disappointed i even bothered going out. i went early(9pm) to get a vibe of it since it was my first time going and it was so slow! I figured it would pick up so i decided to take advantage of my free drinks! Me and my 2 other friends were the only ones at the bar, and it still took the lady 10 mins to even offer us drinks and forget about her seeing if we were ready for more(which we were). The music was terrible, it almost put me to sleep! The people that worked there were very rude. Im never wasting my time coming here ever again!!.

I’ve been going to this bar for a few years now and have never really had an issue. But I have noticed lately that the crowd gets pretty sketchy around midnight. My issue lies in the security. They kick people out for being too drunk, but when I was harassed and physically assaulted by a drunk 300lb man, there was nothing they could do because they didn’t see it. I was truly appalled! Between two security guards and three cops, I was told, «the best we can do is apologize and tell you that the people that come here are scum.» You can bet your ass I’m never spending a dime at this place again!

Not being from the South and/or from a ‘country’ family, I have never been exposed to large-group line dancing. It was AMAZING! All the people were doing the same thing. .. just blew my mind. The set-up at Stampede is pretty cool, because the dance floor is kinda like a racetrack, with the bar in the middle area and seating all around the inside and outside. It was really fun to watch all the couples twirling around! Also, it wasn’t very intimidating. I joined in a few dances and although I didn’t always get the steps perfectly, people were very friendly about bumping into each other. Not as up-tight as I’d heard line dancing can be. I was there on a Saturday, which meant free drinks for ladies until 11; that was awesome. There was still a $ 5 cover, but whatever. I’m gonna try to go back on a Wednesday, cause I hear it’s even more hoppin’!

This place is great for a group. So, they have free dance lessons on Friday night, as well as free appetizers and cheap drinks. So, we rolled in, munched some fajitas, some folks in our group took the lesson(the cowboy cha cha) and we had nice little reserved signs on a few tables adjacent to the dance floor. Our group organizer had called ahead to let them know we were coming and they gave him drink tickets that got each of us our first drink free. Nice! Unfortunately, the only brew they have is in a bottle and it’s you usual 7 – 11 selection, Bud, Bud Light, MGD, Coors. But, Bud isn’t half bad once you’ve had 4, ha ha. And, they were only like $ 3.50, even after happy hour was over, so I wasn’t complaining too loud. I’m not a big country fan, but they did play a couple of country covers of rock songs(ACDC and something else) that were entertaining. We hung out and chatted for a few hours then moved on to the next bar. This place is a bit out of the way for me, but I’d probably make my way back if the group wanted to go again. The free drink was a nice perk ;)
