I actually enjoyed the unique selection of drinks they carried. They had lots of fun bottles and designs. They carry amazing brands but the brands that caught my attention mainly were Jack Daniel, Stella Rosa, Pink Panther, Mikes and more. They even had untouchable displays where you can purchase $ 200 bottle of 12 year wine. It’s sealed in a lion shaped bottle with a ribbon wrapped all around it. I very much loved this liquor place. The owners are Russian!

I’ve been here a few times and they have a wide selection which is great. But the last time I went in with a few friends, about 6 of us, they kept following us around and glaring at us like we’re a bunch of thieves. It made me feel very uncomfortable! We’re all working adults, not like we couldn’t afford to pay for anything. Overall they weren’t very friendly when I checked out either so I agree they should learn better customer service skills and treat everyone with some respect.

I first stumbled upon this place only because it was a rare place open after 6 on New Years Eve… I was stunned by the beer selection… progressively I’ve looked forward to going in to pick up the singles, 2 or 3 at a time because of the variety of unusual choices. Beers from here, good ol’ USA, from here, Colorado, and from abroad, Spain, Belgium, Russia, UK, Japan, Korea, China, endless selection it seems and I’ve found I am upset when I’ve stopped elsewhere because prices just aren’t as good much less the selection… Oh, and the 4 ppl I’ve run into that work here are courteous and have now asked if I’ve tried ” «as they suggest a new one for me… thanks y’all…

Horrible service. The lady checking me out didn’t I.D. Anyone until she got to me. Both ladies spoke in another language and I know they were talking about me. Then one lady that wasn’t doing anything behind the counter opened up an extra register of hers to ring out a friend and then when I got in line to check out, she told me she couldn’t check me out but the other lady with a line could. I’ve made several trips here before but won’t be going back. No customer service at all, that’s a must if you want my business.

Terrible. I know that liquor stores aren’t known for good customer service, but these people must be sampling their own merchandise on the clock. I called in, and was greeted with«Hello?» I asked if they carried the liquor that I wanted, and was answered with«what?» So, I asked if I had called the correct place. Apparently so. The rest of the call went much like this until I finally gave up and hung up the phone. I don’t think these people want to make money.

I wanted to try the Transnistrian/Moldovan brandy called KVINT. I spent 2 years searching liquor stores in several states, and trying to contact the US distributor — no luck. I finally found it in this store, along with a bunch of other rarities. WIN! Definitely worth checking out, if you’re interested in drinks from strange, awesome, and far away places!

This is the place to go if you’re looking for an obscure wine. Their selection of liquor and wine is fantastic and the Russian family that runs the store is always cheerful and willing to answer any questions you have. Minus 1 star because their selection of beer is pretty slim compared to other shops, and they have a very limited selection of local brews. Edit: Found out they are open until MIDNIGHT on SUNDAY. Only LQ around that is open on sunday night that i’m aware of. 5th star added :)

By writing this update I am putting not only my favorite place for alcohol at risk, but my life as well… . . . … okay, not really. I’m just being overdramatic. But if you don’t from me in a few days, then you know where to send the police. :D So when I wrote my first review of this place it was after my first visit and one of my first reviews since moving to Colorado. I’ve spent plenty of time there as I’m always in the need to replenish my supply. I can usually find anything that I need there and they’ve got prices comparable to most places(except for Super Target. They usually have been prices, but who wants to drive any distance when you need something quickly.). The most interesting thing about the place would have to be the owners. We usually go at night and when we do, we find anywhere from two to three of the owners walking the aisles, poorly pretending to be customers. However anytime you stop down an aisle they tend to gravitate towards you to keep a better eye on you. Based on their accent and overall appearance, I wouldn’t be surprised they weren’t former KGB. Another thing they’ve done on more than one occasion is whenever you get something off the shelf and they know they have a chilled bottle they’ll come up and ask: «You vant cold?» :D It’s really more of a demand than a question. Usually we’ll take the cold one and not question them. Ha ha ha Really interesting place, nothing like my beloved BevMo.
