What a great place! A little difficult to find at first, but so worth it. I had a service engine sign on my 3 series this morning, and it was going to take two weeks to get in to the dealer. These guys got me in the same day, and were about half the usual price. Definitely check them out.

The whole staff is very friendly and the technicians know what they are doing. Great service at a really good price. Can’t beat it. Why overpay somewhere else when you can get the same if not better quality work here for a fairer price!

I received my coilovers on a Friday for my M3 and I called many shops in the area who gave me a 2 week lead time. I’m an impatient person so I continued to reach out to other shops in the area until I found Active Motorwerks. Mario /​Haz and their crew fit me in the next morning and I couldn’t be happier with their customer service, product knowledge and attention to detail.

I can’t say enough good things about Mario and his team at Active Motorwerks. My GTI is a vehicle I’m incredibly proud to drive. It’s not the Ferrari, BMW, Lamborghini, or Maserati level of luxury car they normally work on but they treated me with a level of service as if it were. These guys do incredible work, have vast knowledge, professional connections, exceptional communication skills, and fair pricing. I’m enamored with them.

After looking up repair service for BMW I noticed that all were expensive and the amount of service wasn’t personal. After coming to Active Motorwerks, the staff was friendly and they made sure i knew all the information before anything was done to my car. They went above and beyond to help me in a timely manner

My 2007 335i BMW sedan had a problem with the door locks. I actually called Mario and Hasas at 9:30pm and helped me get out of the car. I was actually stuck inside because the doors were lock and became not operable. Wow, they called be back in matters of seconds and helped me out. That’s what I call TRUE service.
Then I brought the car to the shop and Mario replaced 2 fuses and now it works. What’s even fantastic was they did NOT let me pay. Next time I stop by at the shop, I’ll definitely bring some breakfast tacos and some pizza. For sure.

Great business. Professional, fast, competent and fair pricing. They swapped out the tail light on my X5 in 30 minutes. Highly recommend.

BMW’s can be quirky. The mechanics that work on them can be even quirkier. Thank all-​that-​is-​holy I found Mario and crew. He walks me through every engine stutter, hiccup, and finicky start with patience and a thorough explanation of his trouble-​shooting and next steps. I can openly curse my &%$@# car and laugh knowing that Mario will get me taken care of in the end.
They have gone above and beyond for me and I appreciate the customer-​focus and elevated service they offer.
I think I may have found the first honest mechanic!

I recently moved to Austin and needed a good mechanic for my 2000 3 series. As a young woman living on her own I was very cautious about choosing someone that I trust and won’t try to rip me off because I don’t know much about cars. Mario has exceeded my expectations! He is very honest and kind. And very knowledgeable about mechanics and specifically BMWs. I have been here about 4 — 5 times now for various work on my car and will continue to come back.

Unbeatable service at a great price. I am someone who generally takes care of my car’s maintenance myself, but there are some jobs that are just too big to handle in my driveway. Active Motorwerks is now my go to shop when I do not have the time or means to work on my BMW myself. Their service is very personalized. They take great care of their customers, even going the extra mile by keeping the customer updated with the status of their car throughout the repair. I am a poor college student and could barely afford to have my clutch replaced, but Mario cares so much about the cars in his shop, he replaced the leaking rear main seal without charging me any extra labor cost because I honestly couldn’t afford paying any extra for the job. Their shop is kept very clean and tidy, which I feel greatly reflects their business as a whole. I can’t say enough good things about this place! Very impressed with their business’s operation on every level. Top notch business, very thankful to have found them!

Mario put the «M» back in my /​/​/​M3! It has more power than ever before. He completed the Inspection 2 maintenance and also did allot extras that dealership does not do for hundreds less. I met Mario after I bought my car at the time he was the shop manager for Maserati. Ever since I have been taking my car to him for honest professional service every time.

I was referred to Mario by a good friend and never looked back. He’s worked on 2 different BMW’s I’ve owned and is not only very knowledgeable, but reasonable while guaranteeing his work. His labor rates are cheaper than BMW and he has a clean shop with WiFi, which is nice if you’re going to be there for a while. He can fix anything and everything related to your BMW with the exception of tires. Case in point, the last time I was in there a couple weeks ago he replaced my front right passenger side window without issue and it’s working as if nothing had ever happened.
If you want to pay less and deal with someone who knows what he’s talking about without the hassle of a dealership, take your car to Active Motorwerks and have Mario take a look. I highly recommend him and know he’ll do a great job for you.
