The owner, Abe, is the man! I have lived downtown for about 2 months and probably stop by the store once every 2 weeks sometimes more frequently. He knows me and my roommates by name and is always starting conversation. Offers to bring in anything we want. I even asked for a beer that is usually only found in my home town and he brought it in just for me and held it for me at cost. He didn’t have to do that, and he probably made no money off of it, but he did it because he cares about his customers.
I have refused to go anywhere else, not only because I love his selection and because he gives over the top service, but because I like to support good people. Go meet Abe!

Very nice staff who helped right away get what I needed. Very clean store. Close to all the hotels, great for this tourist needing a cocktail for my room. He said it was a fairly new store. .. wish them lots of luck!

Came here while staying at the Westin, in Austin for a wedding. Selection of spirits is solid. Mixers are lacking. They would be well served to offer quality juices/​mixes as opposed to just basic brands, sodas and limited cooler options.
The issue we had was related to the service. The owner was definitely trying to be helpful but came across more aggressive than anything else. He suggested we pay with another card while we waited to contact the bank to make sure our payment would go through. I understand that this can be an issue but we hadn’t had this problem at all so far this trip, and the bank even said we didn’t need to call and that everything was fine. Generally, don’t talk to people about how they’re paying for something, you’ll end up coming across as tacky and pushy.
Also, he suggested a sweet & sour mix in lieu of going somewhere else for a different product. So we decided to try it (Natural Cowgirl Mix) and it was pretty bad. Not his fault, but he did suggest it.
Overall, we got the liquor we wanted but it was an average experience.

Went over to happy hour at Eddie V’s and decided to pop in to grab a bottle on my way home and was so pleasantly surprised by the customer service. Going into a liquor store I expect to grab what I want I want and go, the guy running the register was great to talk to as I was making my way through the store, not in a I want to sell you stuff kinda way but cool to talk to kinda way. They didn’t have club soda because they are new to neighborhood and ran out over ACL but offered alternatives and even as we were leaving told us to ask for anything special we had hoped they would keep stock there.
Awesome business, great customer service. Will be back for sure!

This place is new (according to man behind counter).
It was very clean and in a good location around the convention center hotels. This is especially nice if there is a night you don’t want to go out, but stay in your room and drink.
The man was very nice, offering to bring items in if we didn’t find what we wanted, but since we are from out of town, we didn’t bother with that.
Selection is decent, but I’m sure it will grow with time.

This place is nice, and has a solid selection.
Unfortunately, the prices are crazily marked up. Guy behind the counter took offense to my asking why the prices were sooooo high and immediately became defensive with an argument that made little sense. I was honestly just inquiring if there was some kind of high liquor tax in Texas.
We almost bought a bottle of Balvenie for $ 80. Fortunately, we held back, went to a different store and purchased a bottle for 55% less. Turns out, that store is just a rip off.
On our way out, he was accusing a group of girls for stealing. Asking to search their bags because they «took too long deciding what beer to buy».
I don’t know, perhaps rent is high in the area. Either way, you can get beer cheaper in bars than this store.

Decent selection. Great location downtown. Prices are a dollar or two higher than other places, but that is the price of convenience. Excellent customer service — the owner even asked us if there was anything we were looking for that he did not have in stock. Also, very clean inside. If you are staying in downtown Austin and looking for beer/​wine/​liquor — this is a good option.

Just got into town. Highly accessible-​walking distance from my hotel on 6^st. Owner is very friendly and likes to drum up conversation, which is good if you want to know about his inventory. Only downer is that he has limited stock. But he’s only been open for 9months. So that’ll probably change. Good place to go get something quick!

Great experience! This place is clean, well organized, spacious, the people were friendly, the prices were good, and had the best selection of all the stores in the area I had shopped at. I went in looking for a specific Austin distiller gin that nobody seemed to have, and they not only had it but 4 others that I had been looking for.
A previous reviewer mentioned their lack of enthusiasm regarding debit cards. I specifically used my card to see if they were still discouraging their use… Nope, they gladly took it. I can understand a new business owner dissuading their use since it costs them money, but with a new business comes growing pains and apparently they’ve quickly gotten the feedback and are eager to please.

Very clean, organized, great growing selection, and the best prices that I have found in the area! Despite the others comment, the owner is very friendly and made me feel welcome. I am thrilled that there is now a liquor store so close that doesn’t have rude employees and over priced merchandise!

The place looks clean and very organized inside. Maybe because it’s brand new.
Advice to owner, or whoever it was I conducted business with: if you don’t want debit cards used for smaller purchases, put up a sign saying so. And don’t for any reason make a customer feel like they’re a total idiot who should be ashamed of themselves for not having cash.
Not really the best way to secure repeat business.

O man, I can’t believe I am the first to review! So exciting!
I stopped in last night while waiting for my takeout dinner to be ready. They have a (surprisingly) large selection of liquor, beer, and a smaller selection of wines and mixers. The guy at the counter was very friendly and helpful.
I have plenty of booze at home so I didn’t want a full size bottle that I would have to transport back — just something small to make 1 – 2 drinks with. Unfortunately, they didn’t have any small size bottles as the owner said that attracts the wrong crowd. Given the proximity of the hotels, I actually think they would do well selling small format bottles to business travelers but it’s not my store.
Super convenient location and great service. What more could you ask for?
