Water… sandwich…pasta …chips… $ 29 are you kidding me? I know it’s the airport but the sandwich alone was $ 12 and it was nothing special. How the rest added up to that price I don’t know. Selection of sandwiches is also quite bad… almost everything is based on Turkey and for those that are not… good luck finding those quickly sold out alternatives. Rip off basically.

So happy to find this place at the airport. It’s great that they have such an assortment of fresh salads… exactly what you need when you’re traveling and craving something healthy.

We paid way too much for two big sandwiches at Annie’s, but thankfully, they were delicious. My smoked salmon sandwich was excellent, and my friend liked his Cuban-ish sandwich. Service was lovely. Next time though, I would get the salad trio/quartet/whatever it’s called. It did not cost as much as sandwiches, and you get a sizable amount of healthy food.

Best vegetarian options in the airport. Portobello Burger or Tomato and cheese panini. Good shoestring fries, reasonable at $ 14. Food was quick, 15m delivery. Friendly service made it 4 vs 3 stars.

For something quick and to take on the plane with you AND you surprisingly feel like you are tired of BBQ, get the salad trio. It’s one of the few things on the menu that won’t cost an arm and a leg and for what you get, it’s worth it. It helps to see through the glass what your picks are before you devour. Haven’t experienced any negative service. Just straight up and go service. I forgot the gentleman’s name at the counter but he was friendly enough to point out where the utensils were without me having to ask, AND he did it all with a smile. Nice guy. Honestly, I think that’s a true testament to someone’s friendliness is to see how the locals work and carry themselves at an airport. You still have a great attitude, bravo man! Seriously. Remember, keep in mind, airport food. Nothing of luxury here. BUT it’s not bad.

Airport food is never supposed to be great, but I usually hope its at least ok. This place is not even that. Eww. Bad, watery coffee and old tasting eggs in their breakfast tacos. At least its not super expensive, but I would pass if I was here again. Not good.

Since they did not have any tomato Brie sandwich left, they took out the turkey from a turkey Brie and called it a tomato Brie. Now my tomato Brie tastes like turkey. They also tried to do this slyly but I saw them. Watch out vegetarians.

Everyone who has eaten in an airport at least once in their life knows that there isn’t really such a thing as great airport food but, this place is the exception to that rule. I had arrived super early for a flight and didn’t have time to eat and was walking down the concourse while passing up some other places and stopped here. It was their fresh variety of bulk salads in the counter window that caught my eye. I opted for the bacon, egg and cheese sandwich and added avocado while I hoped for the best. The sandwich was on fresh artisan style bread and you could tell it was cooked to order and just warmed up after being made earlier in the morning. The ingredients were fresh and I would recommend the avocado to add moisture to the sandwich. I was only able to finish ¾’s of the sandwich but, it kept me full until I made it through one layover later and finally to my destination. Of course you will still be paying the airport price on the food but, at least it will leave you with less regret since it’s actually worth it.

Uhhhhh… don’t let the pretty yogurt displays and organic food fool you. This was the weirdest experience ever. The cashier was probably the least helpful and least customer service oriented person I’ve ever met. Seriously… I tried to ask her about the menu and coffee and she basically just looked at me like I was crazy and kept repeating my options. She didn’t tell me where the coffee sugar/cream station was, which sucked walking around to find because I’ve never been to this airport. It cost me $ 8 for a muffin and a coffee. What?! The coffee was decent. The muffin had fresher blueberries but the actual batter was not good. It had no flavor really. I will never stop here again.

The bar for airport food is pretty low, but Annie’s does a fantastic job of delivering good simple food that tastes great. I’ve had breakfast here several times and they never disappoint. Staff is friendly and professional, and they seem to be very happy and enjoy their jobs!

Annie’s café is the best thing in ABIA assuming you don’t want«just okay» BBQ or second rate pizza.(You’ve really gotta up your game Austin.) (FWIW, Salt Lick isn’t bad nor is Mangia but it’s airport versions of Austin classics. Kind of like the«New Coke;» they’re gonna be around forever.) Anyway, the bread at Annie’s is what makes their sandwiches. Their salads are also fresh and tasty. The sandwiches are grilled if you’re into that kind of thing. The downer — it’s a $ 13 sandwich which would be $ 7 even at Whole Paycheck downtown. What I also don’t get is the wait for ten minutes to get a cold sandwich out of a case. :/. Also, because they don’t pull the sandwich in front of you, I got to find out that it’s the wrong sandwich at 35000′. Womp womp. $ 12

As far as Austin airport food goes, Annie’s Café is one of my favorite places. There are lots of healthy options here that are good and taste great. They have many salads to choose from as well as sandwiches and paninis. I tried my first Cuban here and so glad I did! Delicious. There’s a good sized bar next to the café, and they also have live music. After trying a few other food places in the airport, this place is definitely one of the better ones.

Food is a little expensive but not bad for airport food, but the service from one certain person was so bad it ruined the whole place for us. The woman who(made? and) delivered the food was rude as hell. She got mad at me when she misread my turkey and brie order as tomato and brie. And my friend ordered a cold smoked salmon sandwich(literally the name on the menu) and it came out hot. My friend asked for a new, cold sandwich and when she came over with it, she was super pissy and snatched the old sandwich and pitched it into the trash. Then when she came over with my actual sandwich, she mouthed off at me and told me to read the menu. Seriously? Most of the other employees were quite pleasant, but this woman was unnecessarily rude.

Ok food but nothing special. had a sandwich(all ready made) nothing special. The salads were kind of bland too. More spices would have made them better as the ingredients seemed good. Service was ok, in a hectic airport location. I would stick with other options like Salt Lick BBQ or Amy’s ice cream. For grab and go type of food though this is probably the safer thing to take on an airplane.

I stopped by Annie’s Café and Bar as I was connecting from Austin to New York. Annie’s selection seemed to be the healthiest and most creative of all the restaurants in this airport. I highly recommend their truffle fries and tomato soup. There are also some available power outlets so you can charge your devices between flights.

Honestly, there’s not a lot of options in this airport near whatever gate you’re out of. This bar/eatery is up near the high teens and twenties gates. It’s often busy. Sparkling wine is served often without bubbles, but cold. The staff are friendly. There’s often live music. Not much to say good or bad about this place. I come here half the time when I fly out of Austin.

Well, I’ve had worse food in an airport before. After a week of many meats, my wife insisted we not go to the Salt Lick in the airport because she needed vegetables. Annie’s offers a «market sampler» plate which is four choices of their fresh salad offerings. We got down with a spinach berry salad, pesto penne, horseradish carrot salad and some sort of oriental broccoli. None of it was half bad, although the horseradish reminded me a little too much of the recent trauma of Passover. I threw on a Café Cuban panini because life without meat isn’t worth living, and we chowed down and listened to some live music being played across the way. If stuck in the Austin airport another time, I’d do it again.

I had to be at the airport super early for a 7:45am flight which was followed by more connecting flights so I knew as soon as I got to the airport that I better feed myself. I stopped at Annie’s because it was close to my gate and they seemed to have some good, decent options as far as breakfast went. I ended up ordering an egg sandwich to share and a raspberry white chocolate scone. The scone was OK. The sandwich was good too. Nothing over the moon or anything, but for an airport a perfectly decent breakfast stop here. If your gate is close to Annie’s and you are looking for something for your belly I would consider this an A-OK option.

The food is great — nice to see fresh at the airport. I feel the wholesomeness in every bite, and did I mention — at the airport! They have a great selection of pre-made green salads, which is super convenient for grab and go. Otherwise, I saw great fries and paninis. But, to second a lot of other review — the place is a total disorganized chaos when it comes to paying and ordering food. I didn’t go for any made-to-order options, but I saw a lot of people standing around and looking pretty frustrated. The ladies at the checkout are horrible and absolutely not helpful. I understand, it’s boring when people ask you again and again how to get utensils… but IT“S YOURJOB, DOIT! Really wanted to take more stars off for the horrible check out experience(will not list all complains), but on the other hand want to support an effort to provide healthy and tasty food at the airport.

Wow, good stuff… Especially for airport food! Had a late dinner as I had time time to burn before my flight. Annie’s was one of the few places still open. The staff as cool and fun to joke with. I ordered the truffle fries and a toasted pastrami sandwich. First, the serving of fries is gigantic! Seriously. Bring your team to help eat the mass quantity of potato, covered with cheese, green onion, ad truffle oil. Excellent tasting, too. The pastrami was ho-hum. Nice place to sit, eat, and people watch before my flight boarded.
