Pretty grimy inside and seemed pretty unclean. Drive thru took probably 20 minutes. However, the big sign outside is cool. That is basically why I went.

Arby’s used to be my jam when I lived in Missouri. The local franchises gave check-in offers, were clean, and well managed. This is not the case at the Arby’s on Lamar. The inside is incredibly out of date and looks to be stained by time. I almost broke down in tears. Where was the God or Arby’s who would certainly not let this injustice to the brand exist? I’m now an Arby’s God atheist. I’ve visited here twice because the curly fries are addictive enough to keep me coming. The staff is very hit or miss. I encountered a really nice older lady here, but everyone else seems to me mindlessly dredging along.

I could argue the merits of indulging your unhealthy cravings all day. Well, that’s not true. I could maybe spend fifteen minutes on the discussion, and then get bored and wander into a discussion about movies. This review is going to be even quicker than that. Spoiler alert: The rating I gave this place isn’t about the food. It’s about the staff. They are always so nice. I jokingly said to the drive thru guy yesterday, «give me all your sauces. I want all the sauce.» He smiled when handing the bag over, and he truly gave me all the sauces. At least one, if not two of every sauce they carry. I loved it!!! It was cheeky, and nice. Little things like that will get you farther in life than you think. It’s not the first time someone at this location has been awesome. So, this Arby’s gets four stars.

The wait alone brought them to one star. Drive thru took 15 minutes and there wasn’t even anyone inside!

Ordered chicken, and it took a while. I didn’t notice, I was in my own little world. But the manager noticed, came out, apologized, and dropped me a free sandwich coupon. Pretty sweet!

Arby’s has been my fave fast food place as long as I could remember… Decades now! This location is wonderful! Very nice staff with great service and a clean facility. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because sometimes it takes awhile to get our food. With that bring said, it’s because the food is fresh! Go, Arby’s, go!

Went through the drive thru just after opening for an early lunch. The young man at the window was great, very chipper! Sandwich was made to order. The best part… the Dr. Pepper is one of the best in the city!

I have always had a great experience here. The gentleman that works the drive through is always so friendly and helpful. I have written personally to Arby’s about the great customer service at this particular store. Love it!

When I was in oceancity, md Arby’s was my best fast food chain. After moving to boston i haven’t seen none, recently moved to Austin, I was driving and saw this location. Myan that was an awesome feeling to eat Roast beef w/cheddar sandwich and classic corned beef reuben sandwich. Thanks for existing in Austin, TX. The people was very nice and they bring your food at the table wow thats new for me.

The staff was very friendly. The food was what was expected — a decent beef ‘n cheddar. But the onion rings were unexpectedly fantastic — the type you pay a lot for in restaurants — battered by hand type! What a nice surprise! This one is conveniently located right across from a strip mall that has a Target and Dollar Tree.

Lame location, when your credit card machine doesn’t work because it is raining outside then your problem is bigger than a cheap credit card machine or phone line.

A long time ago, in a far away land I used to stop by Arby’s often. I stopped by this one the other day for the first time in about a year and realized why I never go to Arby’s any longer. This location(the only one around) needs some improvement. I’d say the place could use a good sprucing up, and the staff. Uh, I’m not sure what to say. I don’t think they understood what is going on. I’d say on top of the deep cleaning the need a manager to organize the people and jobs they need to be doing. In like nine months I’ll need a jamocha shake and go back. Most likely remembering this review, and the last time I was in there a few months ago and how it would be great if there was a nice Arby’s with a competent staff near by.

I love the Arbys food and fast service, but that was the other 2 locations. This one was extremely slow and the food wasn’t great.

We all have our guilty pleasures, so don’t judge. Every once in a while(several months, or years, I don’t know) I get an overwhelming craving for a regular Arby’s Roast Beef. I blame it on being raised poor. Something about having a bunch of meat in a sandwich as oppossed to just mayonaise is really appealing. And these cravings also coincide with waiting way to long to eat(«I’m so hungry, I could eat at Arby’s»). I have not ventured into any of the menu items. When they used to have regular fries, I would sometimes get the meal. But now all they have are those weird curly fries, often served cold, so I pass on those. This location is okay. The two stars is because I went the other day and it took forever to get my stupid sandwich, to the point where I could have gone and gotten a hot dog at Target. when it finally came, the girl had given me one Arby’s sauce and zero napkins. Then shut the window. I tried knocking on the window. I find it hard to believe they could see or hear me. Effe this Arby’s. That’s all I need, is to hate every location in town, then when I get the craving, it’s like, «sorry craving, there are no Arby’s we can tolerate in Austin, how about a mayonaise sandwich?»

i give 5 Stars for this Arby’s. Most locations have become run-down or closed. This one gets 5 stars because it’s Super Clean, the Staff is Crazy Friendly and the Food is Scrum-diddly-umptous. I have been here more than once and it’s a trend that never ceases to amaze me.

Dear Arby’s — Thank you for teasing us with a «free» $ 1.29 sandwich(your new Jr. Deluxe) with ANY drink purchase… although you want me to spend more on a drink that the sandwich is worth. sigh. The sandwich was ok, but not worth buying a $ 1.49 soft drink that I will not even drink, because you will not give it to me with the $ 1 bottle of water. I never knew bottled water was«value sized.» Now if you could muster up a glass of wine, a margarita or beer… I would be happy to purchase that. Anyway — while I appreciate the gesture… not sure I will pay full price for the sandwich unless my drink is free next time. Oh, but then, I may be required to buy a full sized sandwich to get a $ 1 value drink ;p You get my point. Sincerely, Hates soft drinks in Austin p. s. When Chic-fil-a was promoting their new sandwich, they gave us the sandwich, fries and a drink for FREE(all of it regular size) — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — Sandwich has mayo, and too much of it. Get it dry, ask for the sauce packet, and bring your own drink. Or better yet, bring it home and pour a glass of wine with it.

I eat here occasionally mainly cause I live so close to it, it has never been amazing, but sometimes it is decent. I use to live in the Midwest(IN, OH) and it seems like Arby’s are insanely better there or something but this particular location is very subpar, I wish I could get Arby’s like it use to be in the midwest but I dont think that is possible in Austin. Not bad for picking up something quick, but if you are looking for«good Arby’s» this location probably wont give it to you.

I have a love hate relationship with Arby’s and this location in particular. LOVE: True story. A few years back, at this location, I ordered a lunch combo that costs $ 5.99 plus tax. The Arby’s cashier, who didn’t know how to work the cash register, told me «Uhh…just give me five dollars». So I did – and then she just put the money in her pocket and gave me my food. HATE: I’ve always felt that Arby’s, as a restaurant, was somewhat deceptive in the way they sold their product. Back in the 80s and 90s I remember that Arby’s would run an advertisement in the Statesman every Sunday that was just a page full of coupons. If you remembered to cut out the coupons, and then brought them with you, you could save a lot of money on your meal. However, if you were to forget those coupons, you’d be subject to the full menu price. For one roast beef sandwich that ended up being around $ 97 – plus tax. LOVE: Jamocha shakes! McDonald’s Strawberry and vanilla shakes can suck it! HATE: Slowest drive thru – ever! It seems like whenever I go drive thru here, it takes me at least 10 minutes to get my damn food! Isn’t everything premade and prepackaged here? So what’s taking so damn long? Oh, and once I get my food, everything in the bag feels like it’s been sitting out for a solid half hour! Arby’s, please help me understand. After you guys take my money, what exactly are you doing for the other 9 minutes and 45 seconds?

I am with Tara on this one. I have Arby’s cravings and I LOVE that they are only 270 calories. The keys for me, however, are the arby’s and horsey sauces. The sauces are truly the key to the Arbylicious experience. I could see that one could feel that without sauce, the roast beef is blah and dry. I also like this drive-through because there is never a wait. Confession: Another reason I like drive throughs is so I can take my dogs for treats. My pups like Arby’s just as much, or more, than happy meals.(They don’t like tomatoes and lettuce or mustard on their fast food sandwich.) They like fries, but they don’t get to eat fried food — its bad for them. I have noticed that I have often listed confessions in my reviews. Must be a holdover Catholic thing…

This isn’t one of the better Arby’s locations. I found the Roast Beef to be dry, and the sandwiches just look slapped together – like they didn’t even try to make them look like food someone would want to enjoy. And the fries were meh at best. If I’ve dined in, I don’t remember it, so call this a drive-by review.
