The burgers are dry, I have to drink a 32oz drink behind it just to choke it down. The drive-thru, at a my given time, takes anywhere from 15 – 25 minutes to go through. And when you’re the designated driver, that’s not really an ideal time frame when Taco Bell is across the street and typically takes about 6 minutes. Summary: the food takes a long time and tastes like it was actually prepared three months ago. The staff seems very ‘blah’ about their jobs, and the food is probably the lowest on the totem pole, even when compared to other Whataburger’s and other fast food restaurants in the area.

My very first job ever was art his what’s urged and I will say the burgers are just as good now as they were back when I made them myself!

This place sucks! The drive-thru took over 15 minutes and I was first in line! The woman behind the window didn’t even look at me while talking to me and none of the employees looked like they had any hustle whatsoever. 15 minutes in the drive-thru is unacceptable. Oh yeah, and the burgers aren’t that great.

Okay every since moving back to Texas I have loved my Whataburger. Maybe a little too much but who’s judging? I went here on Easter around 1pm because my body wanted a nice burger. I had original set out for another location but they were closed. Anyway, upon ordering I see a man at the drink area filling up about 12 different drink cups. This could mean only one thing… or maybe two but it means to me there are 12 people/orders in front of me. Boo! Plus the long drive thru line I had saw on the way in. My order took about 23 minutes before I got my meal. I was very disappointed in this because I was at death con hangry status. When the orders came out I didn’t talk the whole time. I was savoring my whatabuger with jalapeños on texas toast. I think Whataburger’s fries are meh but that burger was my friend for that whole time as I devoured it.

This is one of the worst Whataburgers I have ever been to. I live about a block away and love Whataburger so my 10 or so experiences at this location has given me a well rounded view of the place. You will wait a while at this location, I’ve waited over 10 minutes a couple of times and my most recent visit(prompting this review) took well over 20 minutes. They have gotten my as well as my buddy’s orders wrong multiple times. From the kind of chicken to the dipping sauce to the wrong drink, they always seem to mess something up. LOVE whataburger but I now just choose other fast food in the area or go to a different location. This comes down to management pure and simple. Manager has been present just about every time things are messing up and elsewhere you just don’t see that.

I have been hearing about Whataburger from my girlfriend for years. I had a burger with bacon, cheese, and jalapeño and honey butter chicken biscuit. The food was great. I arrived to the drive thru while it was empty, but there was a line by the time I left. I’m sure this place gets a lot of run, and for good reason. The food and service left me more than satisfied.

On point! Just had Monterey melt and hit the spot! Did not taste like fast food. On par with five guys. Probably caught them on a good night but dang very satisfied. And the spicy ketchup enough said.

Love the food here but not the attitude in the Mornings for breakfast with the lady at the Drive-thru. there have been a couple of time she had got a attitude with me and sometimes messes up my order. I don’t know if she can’t hear but she yells threw the Microphone.

OK. Just OK. My friend recommended that I check out Whataburger during my first trip to Austin so why not. This location is pretty typical of all fast food places I have ever gone to so nothing special happening inside. Service was just fine. As for the food, I had a burger with added jalapenos and fries. The burger was bigger than typical fast food burgers. They also served plenty of fries. It was so much food that I couldn’t finish it. As for the taste, it was just fine, but nothing worthy of coming back.

Love whataburger but holy cow this place is nasty dirty! The employees have no idea what comes timer service is. How about a smile? Not too sure why they are all mad looking, it’s not like they have to clean anything. I’ll just assume this location has poor management.

This is a typical Whataburger. The food is the same as any other Whataburger. The staff is friendly. The general area is usually clean. They have the misfortune of being on Ben White. As such there tends to be a large homeless population in the place. The managers do a good job of getting the one that ask other people for money out of the place. They do let them eat in and sort of camp in the general area. The bathroom is usually filled with them cleaning up as well. I can only imagine how difficult this is to manage. However, the last time the manager did kick one of them out for asking me for money while I was trying to eat. The manager even walked out with me to make sure I wasn’t bothered going to my car. Good job! Besides the homeless, this is your typical Whataburger with hard working people doing a good job.

Always a delight. They do make you wait at night, but it’s worth it. Try the breakfast sandwiches too. They are actually the best hangover cure known to man, true story. Other than the wait there are no issues.

I’ve only used the drive-thru here, so I can’t comment on the inside. Whoever the person is that’s taking my order is usually nice, but there is always a long wait. Even if there is only one car in front of me. Sometimes they get my order wrong– like a bacon cheeseburger when I just wanted a hamburger or a soda instead of sweet tea… But when they do get my order right, I enjoy it. It’s hard to hate on Whataburger…

First and last time I come to this location. Worst grilled sandwich I’ve had from Whataburger, and I worked at Whataburger so I know what’s good and what isn’t. Toasted buns were soaked in oil, top bun was soggy from the huge blob of mayo, small portion of yellow lettuce, and chicken was dry. Customer service was poor, the team leader at the window didn’t even look at me when she handed my food. Felt rushed and they forgot to give me my drink. Overall poor experience. Should have opted for Dan’s Hamburgers across the street.

First last resort. It’s almost fast food. Not slow food for sure. Always ready when you are, I have been to Wburger a million times and this location a thousand times. I have been to P. Terry’s once and don’t plan to return(see my review). Does that say enough? No it’s not Dan’s but then again Dan’s is slow food with inadequate parking. Double meat cheeseburger add jalapeños, fries and possibly crazy onion rings that are magically delicious. Spicy ketchup cups to drench everything in. I know, gross right? Wrong, it’s my first last resort. There is much worse.

I was a bit disappointed. The burgers were a bit on the greasy side and didn’t have a lot to offer in the way if condiments. Unfortunately I just wasn’t impressed overall. I went through the drive thru so I wasn’t able to see very much with regard to cleanliness.

By far my favorite Whataburger in town. The friendly staff actually make this fast food place welcoming. Any difficulties in orders or delays are usually due to new staff learning the ropes. If you like doing surveys for businesses, this is a great location to visit. The surveys print every other receipt at this location. The managers and regular employees actually care about their store. It’s not often you go to a fast food restaurant and see employees not dreading their job.

We have so many good burger options in Austin its hard to recommend Wataburger. The only time I would ever eat here is late at night when everything else is closed. You can expect long lines because everyone else has the same idea about when to eat here. The burgers aren’t great but they are good. Its always fun to try and out Wataburger someone. Triple meat, triple cheese, jalapenos, its easy to get a burger that’s too large for a normal human to eat. I will say that they have some awesome milk shakes… tastes like they might actually use real ice-cream as opposed to the weird milky concoction some places use. The onion rings are a very tasty option also. If its late at night and nothing else close is open. don’t hesitate to get some Wataburger!
