We highly recommend Jeff R. from Athena Pools. When the time came to design and build a new pool at our recently purchased Austin home, we heard so many horror stories that we were hesitant to even start such a project.
We have interviewed several local pool builders, but Jeff immediately stood out as the one with the least amount of BS and the most direct and honest approach. He even offered us ways to save on budget.
Jeff is very knowledgeable and the crews he brings in are very professional and are closely supervised by him. Throughout the entire project we were continuously impressed by Jeff’s professionalism, attention to detail, use of quality materials, and exceptional customer service. He came out almost daily to inspect the work that had been done. He usually caught mishaps and fixed them before I even had a chance to call, and I’m quite the perfectionist.
Jeff kept our pool, SPA, and deck project within budget and within the very tight schedule he was given, finishing a couple of days before his original deadline even with this year’s crazy spring weather.
He did all that and always with a smile and positive attitude.

We hired Athena Pools to build our pool and deck a little over a year ago and we are very satisfied.
We interviewed 6 other pool companies in Austin and Jeff from Athena pools. Jeff came highly recommended from friends of ours who had Jeff build their pool.
We noticed a difference immediately during the interview. In addition to helping us design our pool Jeff described his approach to building pools; ie the type of concrete, flexibility of design, amount of re-​bar, types of valves, and other engineering information that gave us the confidence we were looking for in a pool contractor.
We continued to be impressed during the construction phase. Jeff left nothing to chance and has a meticulous attention to detail. Anyone who has had a pool built for them must realize that it could be a coordination nightmare but not with Jeff. His people are hard working and Jeff did an excellent job of coordinating the project.
Jeff completed the project on time (approximately 6 weeks) and we were amazed with the finished product. Jeff did everything that he promised and stands behind his work.
It has been over a year since our pool was completed and we are as satisfied today as we were a year ago.
