Favorite Menu Item: Lamb(Gyro) over rice with extra white sauce Pro: A lot of food for a decent price(about $ 7.00) Con: The french fries are rather flavorless and need to be covered in ketchup and sauce to be tasty. I like to mix them with my rice plate. This is good quick food and if you’re in a rush then calling a ahead will help you speed things up. Definitely a must try for those in the rea and in need of a warm, flavorful meal.

First time eating here today. Had the Falafel Pita with Hummus and it was AMAZING!!! The Pita was so fresh, the Falafel was moist and perfect, and whatever sauce they put on it was DELISH! I love Mediterranean food and especially a Falafel Pita with Hummus and this is hands down the best I have ever had. Will be making it a weekly treat for sure! Found out they have an App that you can order from too — so will be using that.

I got to attempt them the first day they were open after viewing the trailer transferred in a couple of days past. They are found by Lucky’s & Most Miniature Pub in Tx. Now onto the good things. I purchased the meat combo so as to give an extensive assortment to my first visit. It was amazing. I understood it’d be after seeing the actual Gyro rotisserie whole with fires; none of that pull it out of a deep freezer crap! Flat top grill & deep fryer at the ready for crisping things up & a likely great falafel. It was an outstanding piece with the salad & rice. The side of hot sauce kicked it up flawlessly. I can not wait to go back & highly recommend giving them a try!

I eat here regularly — the combo plate is my favorite. It comes with chicken and lamb on rice with a spicy red sauce and a creamy white sauce. Everything is flavorful. The plate comes with a salad too but I’m not about that life. Takes about 5 minutes before it’s ready.

One of the food trucks located at the Tiniest Bar in TX. Austin Habibi is THE spot. Good food, good service, and good people = Austin vibes.

I’ve had both the gyro salad and gyro over rice. I just ate the salad today and wow, they don’t skip out on the meat! Super delicious. Very filling, it was much lunch and I’ll be eating the rest for dinner. They were quick to make it. Turns out they have an app! Even more efficient to order next time. Austin’s Habibi is my new go-to halal place.

I came here with a Groupon, so the deal was great. However, the food wasn’t anything special. I got a gyro salad with a side of falafels. I found the meat to be too salty and the falafel was dry. The salad did not have a variety of vegetables and was mostly lettuce. I was very hungry and I generally love Mediterranean food, but this was unfortunately bellow average even for the price. The atmosphere is unique with multiple food trucks and a general seating area. However, it was raining and there was only a narrow seating area to hide.

Not overly satisfied. I LOVE mediterranean food and love to try new spots for my addiction. I did Über Eats for this. There was a too much of the salad, and for $ 9 i think there should be more rice and meat for the price,(as compared to Halal Bros where you can get no salad and extra rice and meat for the same price of around $ 7.50 lasting 2 – 3 meals). The meat was not as tender, but maybe the food got cold due to delivery and the sauces were a little blander than I expected, I love SPICY foods! The gyro was a little dark and burnt and the rice was not too oily which was good. Not too big of a fan of the feta cheese on the salad as it is a very strong flavor with the sauces. Not too satisfied, but if you’re not too picky *i am picky* then it’d be a good meal!

Received my order from UberEats without the side I asked for. When I called Austin’s Habibi directly to ask what happened, I was told, «Sorry, my employee must have just read it wrong or something.» I asked so how I proceed, I was told, «Sorry UberEats isn’t my company, I can’t do anything about that.» The driver was merely delivering the order. It was restaurants responsibility to fill the order. The offer of a free entrée(which I do not plan to redeem) came after several disparaging messages from the owner. It’s one thing if an employee makes a mistake, that I can forgive and forget. However, after how the owner handled this minuscule issue(rather than simply sending his own driver), I’m convinced he deserves this rating.

Really enjoyed my veggie plate today!!! Food comes out quickly and is fresh. Some of the best falafel I have had, stop by to get your medditeranian grub fix!

I generally want to root for food trucks. Owners are often trying to hit it big, possibly open a brick and mortar some day. I love the concept and I want them to succeed. This experience wasn’t anything too special, but decent food, healthy amount, great location. However, I’ve had better Mediterranean food. I would go back out of convenience if I was at the Tiniest bar in Texas, but wouldn’t make a special trip.

This place is the bomb This place is so tasty! Really simple menu, but really good food. I always get extra white sauce cuz that stuff is amazing. Also the portions are really good for the price, I can usually make my chicken over rice last for two meals. How that they’ve taken over the space next door it’s a much more pleasant experience inside as well. So glad this place exists! So underrated. The onwer hes sooo nice and kind

I eat here often as I work across the street. Consistently, meal by meal, Habibi’s has delivered the best Gyro wraps I have ever had in my life, without exception! They are always friendly, always attentive and prompt, always courteous and ever ready to provide the biggest, juiciest, best-sauced, softest pita’d, tenderest-meated Gyros in Austin. You cannot go wrong with Austin’s Habibi. Top marks! Bravo!

After my review, the business owner contacted me within 30 minutes and offered a redeux. This time I got my correct order — lamb instead of chicken, and it was way better than the prior meal. So great make up customer service. And I can recommend the lamb, but not the chicken salad. I’ll try them again and hope for best 2 out of 3!

5 stars for delivering! However, the food fell a little short of my expectations. I suppose that’s because two weeks prior I had halal corner and everything was absolutely perfect. This, however, was just okay. The delivery time is definitely a little long(about an hour/hour and ten minutes), but when it got to us it was still hot, which was a plus! The sauces were decent, but I was just really disappointed by the quality of meat. It was all really dark, and kept making me question whether I accidentally ordered a combo or lamb, rather than the chicken plate. I ended up only eating about ¾ of it, and throwing the rest away, since it’s not really something that you can save. My boyfriend enjoyed his gyro, and we thought the fries were okay, but I do not think this is somewhere I would order from again.

Wow. Ordered several items for delivery, and an hour later, someone shows up with half our items – no hummus, no falafel, just two tiny wraps. And they didn’t even get my note to make them sans tomato! Maybe the brick and mortar location is able to give you what you ordered, but I swear, my falafel wrapped tasted more of mayonnaise than of hummus. No good.

Great place to grab a quick Greek dish. Fast and delicious. Prices are reasonable for Austin. Try the hummus! It’s delicious! Service isn’t the nicest and they sometimes forget part of my order, but I keep coming back because it’s good! Plus it’s within walking distance of my apartment! There’s outdoor seating and it’s in the little courtyard area of the Tiniest Bar in Texas.

Man this is some tasty middle eastern food. The menu definitely has an authentic Arabic feel, too, unlike some others which have a more Americanized style to them(which is great too, but sometimes you want the original). We got a gyro sandwich, which was delicious, and the thing I really liked was that the meat was very juicy and moist, so even if you got only gyro meat and pita it would not be dry. The sauce was great too, and it had fresh cucumber. We also tried the saucy rice dish whose name I don’t recall, and that one was pretty legit too, with basmati rice rice cooked to perfection. Awesome place, will be back

The Good: this place definitely lived up to the Arabic food deliciousness taste. I ordered the chicken plate, good portion for the $ 9 price. Service was great and fast. The bad: being that it’s located pretty much with in a bar I found that it was a little loud for a afternoon lunch. The music is not always playing but the few times it is just try not to sit next to the speaker.

I sit at tiniest bar, amongst a strange crowd. a man with two dreadlocks, worn like sideburns, that hang past his shoulders. a man that looks like Steve buscemi. a dude that bummed a smoke, and stole my brown lighter, but it matches his shoes, so it’s okay. a man with an unfortunate sport coat that is literally bursting at the seams. but then! Austin’s habibi. I order hummus. nice and simple. the man orders a gyro. delivered to the table, it smells fucking amazing. and looks incredible. hummus? I survive off of this shit. it’s like my only source of calories. and this place does it on point. the wrap? smells of little baby lambs, all happy and shit, running through a field of rosemary and garlic. the pita bread is warm and soft, like a baby lamb made of bread. do yourself a fucking favor, get the hell off the couch, and get some hummus here. you can send me thank you checks in the mail.
