I had the calamari burrito and it was surprisingly tender and tasty. The tortilla is soft and fresh, really enjoyed this place.

This is where you go to get delicious burritos. My favorite is the Sinoloa w/extra shrimp. My second favorite is Texas cheesesteak. My third favorite is the San Diego w/extra meat. They are so delicious and so big that, depending on your appetite, you can usually eat half for dinner and the other for lunch. The churro’s are fantastic.(I order specifically to save them for next day’s breakfast with coffee. Yum!)

Let me start by saying I love this place but I’ve only had one thing on the menu: CARNEFRIES!!! Get them. You won’t be sorry. Just ask for no paper in your box. Not sure when they started doing that but they should stop ASAP.

Very impressed with this place. I’ve been here 3 times now and the food is really good. They have the burrito done so fast it’s almost crazy. Really super job and super burritos. Try this place out if you haven’t yet.

For a satisfying late night meal, this place is perfect. The San Diego is a burrito with flavorful carne asada that’s not gristly and French fries! The verde and red salsas also hit the spot. Tried a cream filled churro as well. It had good texture and was less sugary than most churros. Not a huge fan of the cream though. I’ll be back for the cheap tacos.

This place is right outside my building so I eat here a ton. It’s ready super fast and A+ quality every time. I stick with breakfast tacos and the chicken one is the best. I’ve got an ongoing debate amongst my friends about this, but I think it’s better than Torchy’s.

This mom and pop restaurant has to have the most delicious carne asada burritos I have ever tasted. They don’t skimp on quality ingredients and the quantity of meat in their food. Plus, they are cheap! It’s the best of all worlds! My favorite is their Texas Burrito which has carne asada, potatoes, cheese, pico de gallo, and guacamole in a chipotle tortilla. Are you drooling yet?

Nice little food truck with friendly service. They have wide assortment of burritos. The burritos are large and filling. I had the California burrito with fries, asada, and the works. It was large enough that I could not finish it. If you are looking for cheap eats, it is a pretty good deal. The burrito was decent but nothing made it standout from the numerous other Mexican food trucks in town.

Great burritos. I recommend the Texas or the San Diego for starters. This place is quick and is heavy on the meat in their burritos. My one complaint would be the hours. While it’s great to grab a super burrito as you sit at tiniest bar in Texas’ patio, these burritos would make great late night food after a Saturday on West 6th.

I never got to experience their food. I actually planned my Austin trip from Dallas to eat here, because I’m from California and I REALLY missed Carne Asada fries and saw this place was the only place that basically had them in all of Texas. So I planned a trip all the way to Austin to come here and have their California fries. Over the weekend I came here with my sister and we were walking in downtown Austin and we saw the place, but we weren’t really hungry at the moment. So I walked over there and I asked the worker what time they closed that day, and the person said 6. So that was perfect. We went around Austin for a few hours and it’s almost 5, so my sister and I decided to start walking over to the food truck(I forgot to mention, we were only staying in Austin for one day). We saw the food truck was about 20 ft away from us, and I looked at my phone for the time and it was 5:14p.m., and we were SUPER hungry from walking around everywhere all day, and when we got to the truck to order their California fries, everything was locked up and their«Open» sign was off and no one was there. My sister and I were somewhat shocked. Because we planned this WHOLE trip soley to have their California fries, and they have such great reviews on here, and they LIED to us!!! I felt shattered, because if you’re from Calirfornia, you know Carne Asada fries is basically life haha and I was really hurt they lied to us about the time they closed. Not to mention I was starving, so I was hangry. So was my sister. So even though we did other nice things during our day, our trip was basically a ruined now because we couldn’t have their food. That also says something to me about their customer service, they didn’t care about the customer and just said whatever, whether because either they didn’t care, or they didn’t know, in which case they should’ve asked to make sure. I was really sad, and most definitely will not be returning, because I’m moving back to California in about a month, where I can have some real carne asada fries, and most food places in California close around 2 a.m. Yay! :D

I was so excited to find a «California burrito» in Austin. Super burrito misses on the«Asada» part of carne asada. The burrito itself was great except for the meat. It literally tasted like boiled meat with little flavor. I want this place to be successful, but to do so, it has to actually marinate and grill the carne asada. The meat in the San Diego burrito is nothing like like you’ll find in San Diego, where you her grilled/marinated steak that really makes the flavor. Please guys, make real carne asada and you’ll be unstoppable!

so. fucking. good. sorry I had to cuss, but it’s really good! I love the atmosphere. The parking may be difficult to be found, but worth it if you eat here. Their sauce to add to burritos is really good. I want to eat here almost everyday!

They got too good for Oltorf — and are now located in downtown. This really removes some of the charm. I’m sorry, Yes, it’s the same name. But I don’t think they should be feeding yuppies who know where their next meal is coming from. It’s almost fitting that their current location is currently a trailer. They gave up their loyal audiences for people who had never supported this local institution. The food is good and hearty, but I am just disgusted by the move.

After trying Lucky’s Puccia’s and Austin Habibi, I was looking forward to trying Super Burrito since its two neighbors are amazing, but I was a bit underwhelmed. Got the Super Burrito with steak and a chipotle tortilla, and grabbed a mexican coke from the bar. The steak was actually pretty good, but the burrito was actually a bit too cheesy for my taste. Mind you, I love cheese, but all I tasted was cheese and meat with the texture of rice. There was guac in there too, but again I couldn’t taste it. Taking into account the price, I’d call this place pretty average for a food truck. It’s definitely good, but nothing out of this world.

Great burritos. About as close to real taco shop Mexican food as I’ve found in Austin. Blows the doors off of tex-mex anything. Worth the drive from Round Rock.

I could not decide between the calamari and veggie burrito. The owners said they were both popular and I decided upon the calamari with added guacamole and no potatoes. My partner and son both got the Pollo Asada(using the bogo Austin Passbook) and we ate at the Summer Concert Series at the Long Center. Perfect summmer picnic. My calamari was soooo delicious I could not stop talking about it. I am craving another the following day. My son said his looked unappealing but laughed and said it was awesome. Their red and green hot sauces were a nice surprise. Both spicy and super yummy. The Tiniest Bar is a great spot to eat them as well. Sure wish they had been there when we lived next door. Will be back!

Super good. Got the Pollo Asado burrito — chicken seasoned in something yellow and savory with sour cream and melted cheese.

Jolly Green Giant burrito is PERFECTION. Perfectly spiced, super healthy, and still warm when it arrived at my house. All ingredients were quality and flavorful. Highly recommend it

I was so sad when the Oltorf location closed. I finally had the chance to try the food truck and it is just as good as the original was :-). The menu is condensed but they have most of my favorites, including their cheese stuffed poblano burrito and the wonderful California fries. The location in the Tiniest Bar in Texas is great, the bar is cozy, affordable, and has the best margaritas I’ve had in Austin. To sum up, Super Burrito is probably the best burrito place in Austin and you should definitely try it!

So awesome to find a unique burrito place here. There’s plenty of taco stands in town but these are big old burritos! So don’t let the price freak you out. It’s worth the money for the size. You’ll only need one, or less than one. I tried the calamari burrito and it was lovely. Fresh cabbage, crispy fried calamari, and spicy mayo. 10⁄10 will eat again, especially after a few beers at Tinniest Bar.
