Betty’s Glutenless Gluttony

Ohhhh, what can I say? The best baked goods (whether you are gluten free or not) I have ever had. The family favorites here are the cookies and the carrot cake. Although, the ice cream sandwiches are top notch too, so is the Italian cake… Mmmmm, its all just so good…

Betty’s is one of the best bakers in Austin — Gluten free or not! You must must have her Italian Cream Cake — its the best thing ever! The owner/​chef is a super cool chika that shows her personality in all that she creates!

When I found out that I was gluten intolerant, I thought I’d said goodbye to delicious baked treats forever. Then one day I wandered into the Monument Market in Georgetown, and I saw some of Betty’s treats. Holy moly. I never thought I’d eat another red velvet cupcake or whoopie pie, and boy was I wrong. Betty’s baked goods give their gluten ridden counterparts a serious run for their money. My husband (who can eat bread and gluten all day) even LOVES this stuff. I really have to watch myself. I’ll eat a whole package of her mini whoopie pies in one sitting, if left unattended! I highly recommend this place for ANYONE, not just those of us who cannot enjoy gluten :)

I was at the Lakeline Mall farmers market today and bought some gluten free baked goods from Betty’s Glutenless Gluttony and everything I purchased was AMAZING!!! I have been trying to find someone that GETS the whole GF thing. I have spent an insane amount of money on GF foods that go right into the trash. But now I know this is the GF ticket. The carrot cake was so good that no one in my family realized they were eating cake that was GF. The chocolate whoopie pies were unbelievable. I also purchased a quiche that would rival any restaurant in Austin and it was gluten free!!! Thank you thank you thank you Betty!!! I will be back to the farmers market next saturday and I will come earlier next time because she had sold out of a lot of her baked goods.
