I am so impressed with this store! Lisa is so sweet and helpful. All the sales associates are also so warm and friendly! My favorite store in the mall. Highly recommended!

Dont waste your time or hard earned money on this knockoff Best Buy wanna be store. Brook (rhymes with crook) stone is a horrible place to buy items, my fiancé and I sprung for the 3k chair and when it arrived it was broken. We called customer service and they said they would come and pick it back up at our shipping cost. After arguing with them over the phone we just told them to cancel our credit card and come get your merchandise. Bottom line just dont shops at thiw store. Worst place ever.

This store has the best customer service I’ve come across. They were very accommodating. Gilbert the Manager, and Dakota his sales associate really helped me with my Christmas decisions, and my even helped me return some items later that I did not end up needing. It was easy, pain and hassle free all in a timely manner. You should definitely swing by this store and find yourself some nice treats.

So… the customer service here is so freakin horrible I’m at a loss for words. The staff is moronic and the manager was a COMPLETE tool. I honestly believe I was lied to while being treated like a child.
I plan on trying to find someone in the Brookstone management chain that will take a complaint, and say they will do something with it about the manager at the Barton Creek store.

I have had the absolute worst experience with Brookstone. I ordered a Christmas present the week before and was told it would be guaranteed delivery before Christmas. I never got a call that it had arrived and though I called Christmas Eve before close, they said it still had not arrived. Now, 10+ days after I placed my order, they still have not received it, have no idea where it is, or when/​if it will arrive. I am LIVID. Not only did I not have a Christmas present for this person, it won’t arrive in time for their January trip it was purchased for. They have offered no resolution to the issue except to «call back tomorrow.» I would NEVER buy anything from them again, nor would I ever advise anyone to order anything there.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I couldn’t be any more displeased. The staff is very incompetent. I asked about returning a helicopter I bought for my boyfriend because it was broken and I was told 3 different things by 3 different employees. The store manager might have been the rudest human being I have come across. I was waiting in line with my helicopter and he totally ignored me for another customer who may or may not have been buying something. Overall, Brookstone has some pretty cool gadgets but this store at Barton Creek needs an employee revamp! I will not be returning.

While the gadgets are cool, I recommend spending your money at a store with 21^st century return policies. Despite a receipt that clearly states I have 30 days to return the item I purchased, the manager refused to take back the wedge cushion I purchased as a Christmas gift for my husband. He told me they don’t take back so-​called, «personal» items. It’s not like I brought back a half-​used tube of lipstick or dirty pair panties. Mind you, this is a velour coated piece of memory foam that never shared a room with a pet, a child, or a cigarette. I am sure Banana Republic across the way has taken back sweaters that resided in more questionable conditions than this wedge. But all of this is irrelevant in my mind because at the time I purchased this item the sales associate never told me that this was considered a no-​return personal item. In fact, when I mentioned it was a gift, she told me that it COULD be returned as long as I had the receipt and it was returned within 30 days. What a surprise when I showed up in the store today with the original packaging and the receipt with 6 days left on the 30 day clock! Everything would have been fine if my husband found this $ 108.00 item comfortable. He did not — in fact, it smells like plastic and the fabric creates lots of static electricity. I’ve warned you. Shop at Brookstone at your own risk.

Neat place to wander around and try gadgets, although items can get nappy because so many people do this. Smaller Brookstone than what is typically for a mall. Friendly salespeople. Although many items don’t seem useful, they have a surprising number of practical things to make life easier and its fun trying them out. The most useful items are those related to sleeping and traveling. Expensive, but once you have them, they are high quality and make life easier. Four stars only because it’s a little dirty.
