Cellular Sales, Verizon Wireless Authorized Retailer

I’ve had both «ok» service and «outstanding» service at this location, so my rating today is for Matt Arnold’s excellent customer service. If you’re going to a Verizon location– look for Matt on Anderson Lane! The evening that I came into the store, I had postponed getting a new phone and service provider because I knew it was going to be a time consuming and painful process. However, Matt and the store manager went above and beyond to ensure that all of my questions were answered and that I got the plan that best fit my lifestyle– all while minimizing my wait time. Additionally, they understood my time constraints, which meant staying an hour AFTER THE STORE CLOSED to finish my transaction because I had to leave for an important dinner reservation– pretty accommodating service!

Wow drove over to this verizon store and only 1 super slow worker here no customer service no hello ill be with u in a minute ignored he did not want to be here I guess they do not want my business im going to sprint thanks verizon for nothing

Updating my review to ONE STAR now. Went in for help since I dropped my phone. The guy had NO idea how to file a claim… said it was filed… get home it was not! Not only that but I was TOLD when I bought my phone that if I purchased insurance if anything happened I would be fully covered & get a FREE REPLACEMENT. NOPE… Asurion charged me $ 179!!! I would have forked out the money for a case instead of putting it off because I thought «hey I will save money for a second because I don’t want to buy an over priced case yet if I am fully covered for a free replacement!» I AM SO SICK OF THIS PLACE. THEY NEED TRAINING. Not only have I been talked down to but now given false info… Merry Christmas to me!!! Here’s an extra $ 179 I didn’t need!

Yesterday I went to this store and had the good fortune of receiving help from the customer service representative, Cyle Rodriguez. He helped me figure out how to free up space on my phone so I could download more apps. Mr. Rodriguez was polite, knowledgeable, and personable. Generally, I have had positive experiences with Verizon, especially with service and coverage.

Terrible. Recently switched to Verizon from Sprint. Walked into this location to get my sprint number ported over. Both workers were sitting down on their phones. They gave me a phone number to call to port my number. Ridiculous. Why did I drive there? So they can give me a phone number I could look up myself. I walked in for people to help me not to be given a phone number. Take a look at what your staff members are doing Verizon. These guys are not doing it well.

I can’t speak for others who may have had negative experiences, but I can say straight up that my own experience here was probably the best experience I’ve ever had at a mobile retailer of any sort.
We were greeted with enthusiasm and a demeanor that was neither pushy nor condescending. Rather, everyone was sincerely interested in helping us navigate our many options while respecting our need to decide for ourselves the solution that works best for our particular situation. We were given all the details about the iPhone, and even a really helpful price breakdown so we could calculate how it would factor into the monthly bill.
Just before we decided to go for the iPhone, the spouse expressed a curiosity about the Android phones available. The team went above and beyond to not only show us our options, but demonstrate the features on each phone, explain the differences between each, and even a separate price breakdown. We were blown away by the options available, and yet despite being unfamiliar with it all, we never felt judged. Instead, we were treated with respect for our intelligence, which gave us the confidence to move forward with upgrading.
What’s more, after checking my Verizon account a couple of weeks later, all the changes went through without any issues — no weird bill issues, no random prorated charges, nothing we didn’t actively sign for. We were explicitly informed of all terms and conditions, and were even given as much time as we needed to read through all major paperwork and ask questions about any aspect of the pricing and plan agreements, so we signed the paperwork fully informed.
An Android phone turned out to be the winner. Although I personally am stuck with my old iPhone for a little bit longer, I’ll be switching over to the same phone. When that day comes, I’ll be coming back in person to the Anderson Lane location to make the switch. I could have gone on the VZW site or called in, but the level of care, detail, knowledge, and quality customer service on the part of the manager and staff stood out to us as possibly the best experience we’ve ever had at any mobile retailer. We’ll always be happy to spend our cash at a place where the staff knows their stuff, and treats us like people first, customers second.

SCAMMERS AND RIP-​OFF CONMEN. DO NOT EVER BUY HERE. I bought a phone at this location which I thought was a Verizon authorized store, meaning — they share policies with Verizon. I decided to switch carriers and went into the store to make SURE I understood the early termination fees. I also went to an owned Verizon store to double check. BOTH locations told me I would have a $ 350 ETF. I took the hit and terminated. Now, 3 months later, these SCAM ARTISTS at «Cellular Sales» — the REAL owners of this Verizon reseller — are demanding $ 500 from me ON TOP OF what I already paid in ETF for an equipment discount. This after their own in-​store reps assured me that my cost to discontinue service was $ 350 — which I paid. Verizon is saying they accept no responsibility for the actions of their AUTHORIZED resellers. Even the Verizon rep I spoke to said «This is awful. It’s totally deceptive and wrong.»
I am contacting the news media and have already spoken with the Consumer protection division of the Texas Attorney General’s office, where they urged me to file a fraud claim. I am doing so, and also filing with the BBB, Ripoff report and others. And I will be on social media everywhere, alerting others to these FRAUDS. They can forget it if they think I am paying this shakedown fee. NEVER.

I am from California and I went into the store today to add a device to my line as well as upgrade my phone. Louis B was the sales rep that helped and let me say he was the best ! I have never had better service at any Verizon store even being from California. I asked him if he was the manager and I was very shocked to hear that he was not with his customer service skills. Louis was very personable he helped me decide what phone I should upgrade too. I will visit Austin every time I need to come to any Verizon store at all. He was very very helpful not only to me but to my mother as well when she needed to add a new device to the line for emergency. Everyone if you come to this store please ask for Louis he will take care of you !!! Thank you so much I am very happy with my iPhone 6 and the great service that I received from him !!! I went to this location to work out a problem with my bill. Jesse Love was an AWESOME representative. She made everything easy to understand, she called Verizon and interfaced with them rather than me, and got my plan worked out the best way possible. She was also super nice. I highly recommend her and would like to see her in the future for all of my Verizon needs!

Our bill has been wonky for several months and I finally talked to an official Verizon rep. The sales person who we worked with at the Anderson Ln. location didn’t make any of the account changes we had asked for, and told us that everything had been taken care of. The official reps were able to fix everything in 5 minutes and were thoroughly annoyed it hadn’t been done to start with. I will definitely not be going back to this location.

I recently had the pleasure to work with Albert P. on upgrading my phone. He went above and beyond to take care of me and was extremely professional and courteous. I will go back to this store and recommend it to anyone.

I had a horrible experience here. The guys are deceptive. This is not a corporate store and so they don’t provide the same service. Very misleading and a terrible way to do business. This morning I tried to file a complaint with the bbb and found that all complaints for this store are handled by Verizon corporate. I’m not sure what to think about this.
My salesman. Thien was a typical salesman look out for the bait and switch and all the under handed business tactics.
Do your homework and find a retailer with integrity. Do not give this establishment your business

Went to get a couple of things fixed on my phone. Allison helped me. She is so smart. Allison fixed my phone fast
You need to give her a raise. She is a pleasure to do business with.

I have visited this Verizon store a handful of times to upgrade, exchange, get new phones, etc., and the staff is very friendly. They will stop at nothing to have your needs met. Andrew and Allison were two of the sales representatives that gave me great advice as well as worked with me for hours on end to get my phones working the way that I wanted.
Verizon has always been hit or miss for me, but I’ve had nothing but great service every time I’ve visited this location.

Great sales team, very professional. Good quality phone selection.
Be warned however if you tell them you plan on terminating your contract early. They will not be honest with you. Instead you will receive a call waking you up demanding you money or threatening you with a lawsuit.
I give them 5 stars for service and –4 stars for threatening me with a lawsuit.

I had a quick question and the gentleman helped me right away. he was knowledgable and friendly. It took about one minute to be helped.

What a waste of retail space. I specifically called to see if they had working floor models. I was told yes. I go into the store and they only have NON-​working phones on display. I then asked to see a specific phone, and they give it to me to try out, only it’s not activated so I can’t even see how it will actually function. Everyone was too busy to help me so I gave up.
What is the point of even having a store? This experience is enough for me to ditch Verizon after 10 years of service with them.

This store is great! They’re more focused on Customer Service than other wireless stores I’ve been to. I was greeted at the door, I got to sit down at my salesman’s desk, they asked me a ton of questions and then brought phones to me for me to look at. I had a lot of questions and they answered them, and made me feel comfortable with my purchase. I’ll only go here for my future wireless purchases.
