Let me start off by saying that I had told my self I would not be back to a Chili’s again, but sense I was given a 30 dollar gift card I didn’t want it to go to waste. Anyways, The customer service was great with constant refills and the waiter was very professional and respectful. I only wish I had gotten the mans name but we only spent 10 dollars after the gift card so we left a rather generous tip. The food was actually pretty delicious and flavourful. My only complaint was that the fajitas I ordered were much too chewy/fatty. Overall, it was a good experience and maybe someday I’ll be back to this location, but ONLYTHISLOCATION.

My first place to have drinks when I arrived in Austin… My buddy brought me here because he knew we would get great service from Zack at the bar. Kudos !

I enjoyed this restaurant, the food was good, the service was good and the price was right. Clarissa the manager also came out and made sure everything was to our liking. we talked to her for a few minutes and she was great. will defiantly return after seeing service like she made sure we were getting.

I don’t really do reviews, but this experience was so horrible I feel I really need to… The experience began as soon as we walked in! We stood in front of the hostess who seemed more interested in her phone than her job, as we just stood there waiting to be sat; we finally had to speak up just to get her to notice us. After being seated, it took 20 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us and it seemed every table around us was filthy. Finally our server came and she seemed incredibly frazzled. This was because it seemed she was running the whole show on her own, as everyone recovered from a crazy Halloween. Our waters took another 10 minutes to get, then our margaritas took another 15 minutes(and they tasted like a bottle of sweet and sour), THEN it was another 15 minutes before we were able to get our server’s attention to take our food order, and THEN it took the food 30 minutes. We were told our food was ready and would be right out…10 minutes go by… So our food finally arrives and the presentation was awful, seems they just threw some food on a plate and called it a day. My boyfriend ordered his steak rare, but the steak he was served seemed to not be cooked at all. The steak looked as though it had reached the end of its’ shelf life a long time ago because it had started turning the brownish color that happens with oxidation. The weirdest part about this raw steak was that there was no blood! Something doesn’t sound right… My food was just meh and not worth describing. We lost our appetites and asked to see a manager. They offered to comp everything, but I ask that they at least charge something so that I could tip our overly worked server. The manager charged us for 2 presidente margaritas, which was almost $ 20! Absurd. Needless to say, we will not be back to this location and I strongly suggest that the GM get on their A game because that experience was unacceptable.

Worst experience at a Chili’s ever and thats saying ALOT. After waiting nearly an hour for our food my fiancé was told it would atleast be another ten minutes for what she ordered, souo!!! and she should order something else. The whole tables food constantly sat empty for 20 minutes or more before even being offered a refill. Eventually our waitress disappeared totally once everyone was done it took 35 minutes to get someone to bring us a bill! Inall this not even a manager stopped by to apologize.

Food is nasty. And the table service is trash. And she stole my change. And it was on Fathers Day. Wow. You go to pay for quality food and get a bad taste in your mouth. Broccoli was dry. Ask for medium rare stake. It’s totally raw. Can see blood. She argued with me. My wife corn was dry. No moister at all. Totally un satisfied

We had lunch in the bar area. The bartender Christina AB was awesome. We will ask to be seated in the bar area again. Big fans of the lunch specials here.

Went to chilis for the first time with my best friends, and everything was horrible. My silverware came out dirty, my plates wet. The food was extremely salty, and came out wrong. Completely mislabeled on the menu that if was beer battered chicken. My best friends steak came out horrible. The sweet tea was watered down. The employees acted as if they didn’t want to be there. She also put her arm in front of me and Reached across the table to fill my glass. It was disgusting. I never want to go there again.

I love Chilis and I crave it a lot. However, this restaurant ruined it for me. I’ve been two times. Both times, the service was slow and the waiters were un-attentive despite not being busy. It was so bad that the bar tender started waiting on us from the other side of the bar(we were in a booth in the bar area, not at the bar). I ended up giving him the tip instead of the waitress. The second time I came, there was a dirty diaper in the middle of the sidewalk right in front of the door. I tried hard not to think about it so that I could stay and enjoy my meal. 45 minutes later, when we left the restaurant ITWASSTILLTHERE! That’s disgusting. There’s really no excuse as to why it shouldn’t have been cleaned up. Needless to say, I will never eat here again.

Vegetarians and people with allergies be aware that everything fried is cooked in the SAME oil. Those with allergies severe enough to react to cross contamination by shellfish, or allergies to anything on their menu that is fried, should avoid ALL fried ingredients. That includes the chips that come with the salsa or queso! My vegan friends are very bothered by the thought of meat particulates on their chips or other food. Unlike the Chili’s in my former town of Las Cruces, NM, THIS Chili’s does NOT fry shellfish in separate oil from everything else! Despite shellfish being a common allergy! Found that out when I took a bite of chicken crispers and it tasted like shrimp. Uh-oh. Asked the server, and sure enough, the chicken was fried in the same oil they used for the shrimp. He says«you can’t get sick from shrimp being fried in the same oil because it is so hot it kills off the cross contamination» Um, no, you are confusing food safety and germs with allergies. You can’t fry the allergies out of food! He says he can’t even give me a partial refund for the shrimp-tasting chicken! Says«nobody gets sick because the hot oil boils out the allergies». Well what about how gross the chicken was? If I wanted to taste shrimp, that’s what I would have ordered! I would have at least liked the chicken to taste like chicken! Maybe it was a good thing the oil was so gross and grody that I could taste the shrimp residue. Otherwise I would have eaten more of the chicken than I did and probably been even sicker than I was. As it was, I became violently ill all that night and the next day. I even wrote to the corporate office to tell them this is a problem, people could get sick, and how sick I was. They said it wasn’t a concern! Didn’t even offer a refund! I don’t know about you, but I’m not happy paying good money for gross tasting, allergy cross contaminated food and the fun experience of 18 hours of explosive vomiting and diarrhea! Many people don’t have allergies severe enough to react to cross contamination, but if you do, stay away from EVERYTHINGFRIED! ESPECIALLY the TORTILLACHIPS! The server told me that the oldest oil, therefore with the most particulates, is used to fry the chips because it gives them a «nice golden brown color»

We just went for a snack so we got a drink and shared the nachos. I’ve always like the nachos here. Service was great too. Chris is such a sweet and funny young man, so charming. We left a hefty tip(after all, servers only make about $ 2.13 an hour so they live on tips)

What do I love most about Chilis… the consistent menu and overall food. I am a huge fan of the explosion salad. I have probably ate that salad in 30 states or more. The one difference the locations can have is obviously staff and cleanliness. This locations staff is spot on… attentive, accurate and they all look to be enjoying their jobs. Great hospitality.

I haven’t been to Chili’s in a longtime and I can’t say I’ll be back anytime soon. The waitress was pleasant but the food was sad. The queso was more thick, cold enchilada sauce than cheese. The fajita toppings were sparse with about enough for a taco. We asked for more sour cream twice and 1 of us got the cheese. I could go on but I’ll skip it and recommend you do as well. Go to Trudy’s, it’s next door.

Only reason I give two starts instead of one is because our waitress was the only good thing about this place. Our food was warm but on the cool side of warm. Yeah it was 10:30 pm when we arrived but the kitchen closes at 12 and it was not what I wanted my food to be like. Even the beer that I had was sub par. I would definitely reccomend going elsewhere for quality food but I guess it is a cheap place to eat.

Service at the bar was fine, and the burgers were good also. Manager spent the entire time in bar area though and it was apparent that there were multiple issues in the dining room as I witnessed 3 – 4 guests get up to tell there server something.

Let me preface this review with the fact that I have always loved Chili’s. When I was a wee child, my sophisticated palate only wanted chicken crispers. I upped my Chili’s relationship by working there in college. After a rainy, depressing day, I went to Chili’s for a lunch where I know what’s what. After a nice lunch, we got a cookie skillet for dessert, because holllaaaa. After finishing 75% of the cookie, feeling pretty good, my partner noticed that there were ants crawling around the sides and on the top of the skillet. After squishing one and sticking one on the end of a sticky spoon, we felt ill. The ant on the spoon was still wriggling, making me nauseated. God only knows how many ants we could have inhaled. After alerting our waiter, the manager on duty, Melissa, came out and promptly told us, «the whole skillet was in a hot oven so ants couldn’t have been inside the cookie. The ants must have come from the table.» She asked if we wanted a second cookie, OBVIOUSNO, and then she just bussed the table and left in a hurry. It was so fast a little dust cloud was trailing behind, most likely a flurry of ants. That was it. No real apology, no offer to comp the meal, just would you like another cookie, we’re 35% sure it won’t have ants. After a stint of dry heaving in the car, I felt a piece of my childhood die. FIN. tldr: ants in the food, blamed it on the table, and we’re still gonna need that cash.

This location is my favorite. I moved to Austin two years ago, and my boyfriend and I have been to our fair share of Chili’s, but this is our regular spot now. The food is good. I love their salads, and deserts. Chris is our favorite server. He’s very friendly and personable, even when they’re busy. Two thumbs up. We’re always happy to be sat in his section.

Had their Bottomless Express Lunch. Soup, Salad, Chips and salsa for $ 7. All were very good and could only eat one helping. Don’t eat the chips and salsa if you want to stay on your diet. They’re too addictive to stop eating and the entire plate is 910 calories and 45g of fat! I only ate about a 1/3, but still.

My review is just for margaritas/the bar/appetizers. If I want a nice MEAL, I’ll go elsewhere. There are few places I can go and ask my bartender to put a beer IN my margarita. Sometimes, that’s all I really want. When I do this, I try to stop by during happy hour and get free chips and salsa. The salsa is actually pretty good. I really don’t know what to say. It’s a Chilis. I always feel like such an American here, in the MURICA, motorized wheelchair, diabetes kind of way. Hence, I try to avoid it, but I will stop in from time to time when ALL I want is a $ 3 frosty mug of mango margarita.
