Best haircut I’ve had in years! Jacob did a great job cutting my hair. I recommend him to anyone wanting a men’s cut.

Jacob is such an awesome hair stylist! I asked for balayage that blended in since I’ve had terrible dye jobs before that ended up blotchy since they did not use the foil. The color turned out so seamlessly blended since I have black roots. He was also friendly and had a good sense of humor! I don’t live in Texas but will definitely return when I’m back in town. :)

I got an appointment the day of the haircut, and it was amazing! Sohee did my hair and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out! I just had to show her a picture of what I wanted and she took care of the rest. My hair was fairly long to begin with, a little over 12 inches (past my shoulders), and I got most of it cut off for a more businessman-​esque look. Superb work and soo affordable, like wow. Will definitely be back when I need a trim!

CNN gave me a great first experience with coloring my hair!
Booking an appointment was easy and quick through the online website, and several confirmations were sent to my email and phone to remind me of the time and date.
The entire staff at CNN was very kind and offered to bring me drinks or magazines. After Sohee was finished with my hair, they were all very supportive of the way it looked too!
As for my hair: Sohee was very attentive to what I had in mind and asked questions to confirm that we were on the same page before beginning. I wanted a balayage with a slight ombré, and she gave me exactly that. She was very patient and gave me advices about how to treat my hair in the future and how to maintain colored hair. I could tell that she was being very detailed and made sure to review with me what I was going for before each step of the process. All in all she did a thorough job and treated me very well.
I am very pleased with the way my hair turned out! For someone who had never colored my hair before and was very nervous about it, CNN did a great job of making sure I left happy :)

Jacob was amazing! I hadn’t had a haircut in 3 years and recommended by a friend I went to cnn. Jacob was super nice and professional. I’m extremely shy and don’t usually love to talk and Jacob didn’t force the conversation he went all out with my hair took his time and I left the salon with a smile on my face! Eugene is utterly amazing. He instinctually know what looks good on me and delivered a gorgeous and meticulous cut!

Eugene always does a great job with my men’s haircut. I’ve been to some of the best salons in Tokyo, San Francisco, and Houston and Eugene has easily been my go-​to for a haircut when I’m in Austin!
Sohee also did an amazing job with my highlights! I was a little hesitant on whether I should color my hair, but I absolutely love how it came out and I’ve received nothing but positive reactions in the past week! Sohee was super nice and focused and made sure the color came out absolutely perfect. I’m in love with my hair!

If you’re fluent in Korean, you should see Hanna! Her first and primary language is Korean. She is so fun to talk to and did a great job cutting my hair. What I liked most about her is that she actually really listened to what I had to say and cut my hair exactly as I asked her to! I love my haircut!

Such a great experience! I was in visiting my daughter and went with her to keep her company and asked if I could get a haircut while I waited. I was helped right away. Jacob was so wonderful. I was undecided about chopping off so much hair and he was so patient with me. He knew exactly how to cut and thin it so that I wasn’t disappointed.

I have been using CNN since I moved to Austin last June. I usually get a trim only, nothing fancy. I used a few difference stylists, they are all very skillful and never disappointed me. I have thick coarse Asian hair, all of the stylists that I tried have done a good job with my hair. Recently I had 12 – 14 inch of my hair chopped and donated. The stylist Gene gave me a great cute bob cut. I absolutely love it! It’s stylish, comfortable and low maintainance. I won’t get my hair cut anywhere else.

Jacob is AMAZING! I was total hair color virgin and he put my mind at ease with his expertise. I also enjoyed my time spent with him. He’s knowledgable and personable.

I had Jacob, who was super nice. I’m a super awkward person that doesn’t talk a lot, so it can get weird at salons because I’m really bad at small talk, but Jacob rolled with it. It took a while for the cut, but that’s because he really wanted to make sure I liked it.
Great place, nice atmosphere, will be making it my go to salon from now on.

Second time having my hair cut in Austin since I usually have a good stylist in Houston. The first time was a terrible straight across Bob style which I hated so after hearing recommendations I decided to try cnn. Friendly and they offered me tea right off the bat. Hannah was nice and listened to what I wanted which was 3 or 4 inches trim and layered. Not as layered as I would have liked as she went straight across with the scissors and I cringed. I wanted a trim anyway since my hair was super long and hard to manage so really loving how light it feels after I washed my hair.

Jinny did my digital perm. It’s the first time I’ve ever had it done. Service was great and impeccable although it was a little difficult to communicate because she didn’t speak much English, one of the other girls translated.
She did a great job cutting out my split ends too. Although my hair turned out shorter and the curls smaller than the pictures I brought in, I am happy that they are still going strong. I think as my hair grows out, it’ll start looking more like the pictures.

It’s hard to find someone that knows how to cut Asian hair. We just have different texture to our locks.
Salon is clean and modern. Staff is all nice and accommodating!
I’m very particular when it comes to cutting my hair. Booked with Hanna Kwon and she was AMAZING! She listened to what I wanted and did exactly that! Sometimes hair stylists do their own thing but she did an awesome job on my hair. Not only that she has a bubbly personality and is genuinely nice! I found my Austin hair salon!

If you’re looking for a stylist that understands Asian hair, look no further than CNN hair team. With the Korean base of stylists you’re going to get what we’ve grown accustomed to to LA, but in Austin.
I got a cut and digital perm with Hannah who is just so damn skilled. She gets it. She knows what will look good on you, and even shows you how you can style it at home. She trains you. It’s great.
Most importantly, my hair. My typical limp hair has body, bounce, and volume!
I highly recommend Hannah for your cut and perm.
