Don’t read too much into the star count on this review. 3 stars isn’t 4, or 5, but it’s still a great rating. A couple stars were docked because I once went through and looked at the expiration date on some of the «nonperishable» foods on their shelves and they had expired years ago. This isn’t really a problem, because you should go to HEB to get groceries, not a convenience store.
The thing this store is good for is friendly employees and cheap beer. They don’t jack up their prices and they sell cigarettes by the piece. I’ve never bought a single cigarette, but a nice old man outside told me that the reason his visits this store is for the single cigs. So if that’s what you’re into, this place delivers.
