Crabtree amusement Carnival

Me and my boyfriend decided to go to the carnival at ben white a couple of months ago, and let me just say the staff are just RUDE! Me and him were passing by a game booth and this guy tried to get us to play a game, and we denied his offer. We passes the guy like 5 times (It’s a small carnival) and about the third time he started saying stuff like «A real man would get his girl a stuffed bear» or «Don’t worry, I won’t tell her about the girl you we’re with last night». If I was quite aware, employees don’t act like that. The rides itself are fun, but they really need to either teach their employees about manners or fire them because they’re trash!

So we went to the carnival last Thursday that was located in the Highland Mall Parking lot!
There was nobody there so, we got right on the rides which was great and for a pop up carnival they had a good variety of games and rides. We ate some curly fries with cheese all over them and they were great! I ate them with my hands and didn’t even care. Totally licked my fingers afterwards instead of utilizing the stack of napkins they gave us.
It was $ 20.00 for a wristband to ride all you want. It was worth it for me because I rode everything at least once! We played games and won some nice sized prizes and a gold fish (which I promptly gave to a kid walking up to play the game) haha!
My friend got a funnel cake on the way out and it was huge! I was a bit disappointed with the lack of carnival food options, they didn’t have very many food trucks and no elephant ears:(
Overall it was an ok time. The staff was friendly but, some of the rides weren’t working and I thought it was a bit pricey overall! I would go again if there was nothing going on and I had more people to go with. I think it’s obviously more fun in a group but, the no wait and friendly staff is why they got 3 stars!
