Bad customer service the bored doesn’t list everything that comes with your order. It is by far the worst fuit stand i have ever been in

The mixed fruit large bionico was huuuuuge. Seriously, it was like 2 feet long. Really good fresh fruit taste. Come here, you have to order this, otherwise you’re missing the point of this place. I’m glad the cashier recommended that dish. The hot dog at this place was horrible. Looked nothing like the picture. Yes, who would be dumb enough to order a hot dog here you ask? Fine, so I won’t take off a star, but still. They should either make it look as good as the photo or remove it, cause it looked pathetic and nasty. I’m glad their open late enough that you can come here after dinner.

Soooooo good! The bionico is truly a work of art. The cream… the fruit… the granola… it all works together for a tasty experience. Be prepared to go crazy for fruit again.

I was really craving a mangonada one day and found this place on Unilocal.I finally went and ordered my mangonada and was sorely disappointed. I’m used to the mangonadas in San Antonio. They use a mango ice or sorbet of sorts and it just tastes soooo much better. If they started doing that here I’d come back at least once a week for my mangonada fix.

I love finding little goldmines of love! I went to the one on Riverside near Montopolis. The Pickle Dill Raspas con fruta is AWESOME.

My review is solely off preference. And not quality or service. This is a cute little shop on the east side of 35, that sells Mexican treats and snacks. On a hot summer day, this place will be popping with customers. I’ve had mangonadas in San Antonio. And they were amaze balls good. Hoping to recreate that feel, we came in search for a replacement in Austin. While the great itself was good, it wasn’t great. The used chunky, hard ice here, and what I had before was more of a sorbet texture. If my ice would melt, it would be more slushiness than anything else. But you still can’t mistake the great mango flavor with the tamarindo flavoring. I also got the corn cup, which was very yummy. My daughter got a kids meal which had quesadillas, and everything looked fresh, and well prepared.

If your looking for a spin on fruit and creamy delights, this is your place. By means the first has always been fresh and up to par. But the one I enjoy is their torta hogada, but only served on the weekends. It’s worth the wait till the weekend.

I had heard about crazy fruits for a while now and had been wanting to go. We ordered a Mangonada, a fruit cup and a smoothie. All tasted great. The prices were reasonable and they were very speedy, something that you rarely come across at a fruit place especially when all their tables were full. The employees were all great and answered any questions we had. I’m glad we tried them out. Will definitely be returning since its south and not in the busy area of slaughter.

WHOAH. This may be one of the coolest snack places I’ve come across by living in Austin. I wound up on this end of Slaughter Lane by accident and stumbled across this gem. They’ve got everything from raspas to tortas to the traditional elotes — whatever suits your fancy. I grabbed a sandillada and a torta hawaiiana and both were absolute heaven. I wasn’t feeling adventurous enough for the dill pickle raspa with chamoy — that may be my next order. Everything on the menu looks amazing so I’d suggest trying whatever sounds the most appetizing. It all does to me! I’ll definitely be back.

Very nice people with great desserts in a kind of hidden spot at the end of E Slaughter. They have mostly desserts but also some great Mexican food. The owner Jose made me Ceviche and had me try it. I had never had uncooked Mexican food but it was really good. I would highly recommend getting that if you are new to the area and want something different. Fruit cups are very good too! YUM!

Like most people I really like the bionicos. However, the ladies that work there make fun of me because I don’t pronounce it the right way. I am mostly hispanic so I guess I have no excuse. My gf isn’t though so I send her instead now! Or I’ll write my order on a piece of paper and hand it to them.

I have visited this place a few times. Overall, the fruit cups and raspas are very delicious. However, I would take my order to go. It gets easily packed and keeping tables/floors clean are not a priority when trying to keep up with demand.

Not really knowing what to expect this place is great! My first time ever having a mangonada and it was delicious! Fresh fresh fruit and very cool inside! They staff was nice, and my order came out pretty fast. They have tons of choices like drinks, shredded fruit, sandwiches and more! I will most definitely go back soon! It’s also not to far out of town and in a little shopping plaza, cool place to get a cold flavorful fruit drink on a hot summer Texas day!

Super friendly people run this neighborhood Mexican snack shop. They have a bit of everything! We ordered the Cubana Torta which was good(FYI Sausage = Hot Dog), it was big enough to split. We made the mistake of ordering milkshakes, when we should of ordered a Mexican refreshment instead, like the mangonada. So happy to have this place in my neighborhood!

So DELICIOUS! Finally Bionicos down south! We also loved the strawberries & cream, the chicken quesadilla, hamburger & fries, and the melon water so happy we stopped to try this new business!
