My only complaint is that I wish in this place was opened sooner. We waited 30 minutes and walked around congress before returning. I ordered S7 and it was great not too chocolaty with some great fruit. Hubby ordered the Thai sausage. Spicy and so good. Just a little pickled made it just right. Grab plenty of napkins! I visited this place for the first time a few years ago during SXSW. So great!

Damn this food truck/stand is good. $ 8/$ 9 for delicious Thai plates. $ 1 water, $ 2 glass sodas. The red chili paste chicken was my favorite, even beating out the red curry. Nice benches with umbrellas off of S. Congress.

Worst customer service I’ve ever experience. Got a thai tea that fell over the table because the lid was not put on correctly. I went back to let the lady behind the counter know and then she spoke to another guy who rudely said its not my fault. I paid full price for another one and it wasn’t anything to brag about. Wouldn’t be shocked if this food truck did not survive.

I have tried their crepes at least half a dozen times over about 3 years. I believe they switched owners sometime in between. It now has sort of a Thai theme. The new owners; not sure I can justify the cost for the quality. I have only ever had the sweet crepes, so I can’t vouch for the savory. We tried the strawberry and banana crêpe and a nutella crêpe. Although good(we finished them all) I can’t help but miss the old crepes. The old owners; there was a banana fosters crêpe and a Parisian crêpe that were amazing! The wait time was slightly longer, but worth it. The fact that now they come out in less than a minute, sort of worries me…

I had a Thai sausage and dried pork crêpe and I would say that it was okay but not the best crêpe I’ve had. The sweet dried pork with the salty and spicy Thai sausage was a weird combination for me that I did not particularly love but tasted okay. The crêpe was pretty big and worth the $ 10 I paid. I will have to try something else the next time I’m there to find something I like. I have to agree with others who say that the owners seem to have changed because the truck no longer says Crepes Mille and the only has the Crepes sign on the airstream with the Mille sign covered over with stickers and other signs saying Thai food.

horrible. i ordered a ham and cheese crêpe to share with my young child. What came out was 4 slices of the nastiest quality ham and processed cheese slices. cold. unmelted. i took it back up to the counter and asked if they could please warm it up so that the cheese melted and the ham was warm. the photo shows what was returned to me: the same cold, disgusting crêpe. we threw it in the garbage and left. i almost never write reviews but this was too bad not to report. look at the picture and see for yourself what over $ 7 buys you.

«Turkey and cheese» $ 7 crêpe was served with a few slices of cheap deli turkey and slimey yellow AMERICAN cheese(photos) inside of a chewy, fishy/fridge scented crêpe. Sure, perhaps one shouldn’t have high expectations for the least thai inspired plate on the menu but this… man, how can you serve this to people? Think jail food. *I never leave bad reviews, this is actually a first.

3.5 stars I was bummed to see that all the crepes were super spicy only. It was really hot that day and I didn’t think that was a good idea. I ended up getting the Red Curry with Chicken and bamboo shoots as well as rice and some other toppings. The sauce was great and the rice was perfect, but the chicken was a little dry and the whole thing was kind of pricey.

Here’s the deal… I missed out on the old crepes place. I’d wanted to try it very badly, but never had cash. I work nearby now, and sauntered out on a walk during my lunch break. I saw the trailer, and was sad for just a moment before I realized… I FINALLY had cash in my wallet, which was in hand. I considered long and hard about wether to get a Thai crêpe or just Thai food. As much as I’d always wanted the crepes… I went with my gut and got yellow curry with tofu on it’s own. Not a bad choice. It was a decent amount of food, which was enough for lunch that day and the next. The tea was pretty good as well! Excited to go back and try the crepes next time, though I have my reservations about the idea.

I ordered the basil pork, Thai puffs and satay chicken. The basil pork was to come with steamed rice but when it arrived it was in a crêpe. The satay is on a stick but mine came as two tough old drum sticks and the sticky rice. I won’t be going back.

This is *not* the Crepes Mille it used to be. It looks like it’s totally changed hands and maybe not for the best. The menus are handwritten on poster board and one of them reads«crapes.» Not reassuring. We got a fried chicken crêpe and some chicken curry«puffs,» which were like samosas. Nothing was bad, it just wasn’t wow and I missed the variety of the previous menu. I really enjoyed the pork floss crêpe back in the day.

One of favorite foods is Crepes. I am so sad that Flip Happy is temp closed. I hope they open back up. This is the highest rated/best match for crepes in Austin. I was expecting delicious crepes but what I ended up with was meh. So think Thai food, packed inside of a crêpe. Which in theory might be a good mix, but here it’s a terrible disconnect. Not only are the crepes just OK, kind of chewy. The thai food is not good either. The best thing we had this day was the Thai tea, which not many places can screw up. We had 3 of their crepes: Massamam curry with tofu. This was the best tasting of the 3 but they were skimping on the tofu. More tofu and this would be worth 4 stars alone. The Basil chicken was salty, the chicken was dry. Finally, the worst crêpe of all the chopped basil with ground beef. This thing was SOOOOSALTY. I couldn’t even finish it. And anyone who knows me, I do not leave food unfinished. The tables are kind of scary. The umbrella is not safely secured and almost flew off many times.

FYI their hours are completely inaccurate. You will never find this place open when you want it to be. Having said that, maybe I got lucky, but I had two really tasty crepes. I had a CrepesBenedict and a French Toast, and both really hit the spot. They’re crepes, and they’re thin, but that’s what I’ve come to expect; that’s why I order two crepes. The taste imho, rivaled Flip Happy Crepes, but their service was very poor. Couldn’t find a place to sit, so sat in the back, and I told them that, and they didn’t bring it out. It was chaos in the line trying to edge my way in and make sure I got my crêpe.

Disappointed. After a day walking around soco, a nice sweet crêpe was exactly what I wanted to indulge in. I ordered a Nutella crêpe with ice cream — how could I go wrong!!! Well when the Nutella is nearly non-existent,(seriously it must have been paper thin!) the whipped cream that was supposed to be included was left out entirely, and the ice cream was smaller in size than a golf ball, and all for nearly $ 6… well it wasn’t nearly the delectable indulgence I was craving. Takeaway– over priced and you do not even get what you pay for. Will not be back.

Just ok… Now, I’m a self proclaimed foodie and by no means an authority. I just LOVE everything food! Especially, tasty morsels that be found on the sides of the road… and…I’m giddy over crepes, too. So Crepes Mille was a logical choice when enjoying an afternoon on Congress. I ordered the rotisserie chx, feta, caramelized onion crêpe. Accompanied by the lemon zest crêpe for dessert. I was SO excited I was literally foaming at the mouth. The crêpe itself, was quite tasty. However, their was scarcely any chicken or feta. It was more of a caramelized onion crêpe with essence of the other ingredients. The lemon zest crêpe was delightful at first until it became overpowered by the huge chunks of zest in the middle of the crêpe. I believe in second chances for first experiences! So i will be back.

For $ 7, I was expecting bigger and maybe even better crepes. I ordered the Eggs Benedict(savory) crêpe. I mean, it was not bad, but it was not orgasmic to my mouth. And for the size of it, definitely not worth $ 7! Well now I know. I probably won’t get another savory crêpe from there again. Maybe their sweet crepes are more worth it…

The cute little ladies working here just make this place oh so much cuter! The sweet crepes all seemed fantastically magical. I had a really hard time picking one out. We settled with the Parisian which was good, and different. It had brie, chocolate, and strawberries. A cool combo. … have y’all looked at the website? It’s so great!!! I’m also obsessed with pictures of food, so maybe that’s why I love it so much. Check it out! I’ve never had a savory crêpe, but I bet they’re incredible. Awesome location!

The husband and I finally got around to trying one of the crepes trucks in Austin. We opted for this one, since rumor had it that Flip Happy was closed for vacation. Located on SoCo, parking can be iffy to get near this joint. Suck it up and realize you’ll probably have to park a few blocks away, or else pay to park your car much closer. Crepes Mille sits on a small lot with a few other food trucks. CM faces SoCo, so it’s hard to miss. It was late night, so we opted for the«sweet» crepes, as opposed to the savory ones. I went with the French Toast crêpe, and hubby had the caramelized pear crêpe. Our crepes came out within 10 minutes or so, and we snagged one of the picnic tables in front of the truck. The crepes were warm and soft… yet a bit on the bland side. Yeah, French Toast isn’t exactly the strongest flavor, but I could mostly only taste the maple syrup. The caramelized pear was better, but still pretty bland. Should I try this place again, I think I’ll opt for the savory crepes… though the crêpe with the strawberries and Nutella sounds delicious.

But let me tell you why. The sticky rice in Titaya’s coconut-rice dessert is perfect. No games: white rice, maybe cooked in sweet coconut milk mixed with love, formed into a dense patty and drizzled with sauce of awesome, and topped with ice cream. This, minus ice cream, is what I had in mind when I placed my order at Crepes Mille. The mango is not the problem at Crepes Mille. My pieces were juicy and sweet enough. What I didn’t get was the rice. They used a reddish-brown rice, which was fine. But lawd was it dry. The rice was barely sweet and hardly sticky, as if it wasn’t cooked with enough fluid to make it sticky. You could almost eat it as part of a savory dish. There was also no kind of sauce — not on the crêpe, not inside it. The mango was doing double duty trying to lighten things up and add moisture, but there was too much missing here. Poor mango. Errol tried it and said it was«good,» but I think he was being polite. I’m guessing another dessert crêpe might be the way to go, and Lo O looked pleased with her savory crepes. I might be tempted to give them another try, but it will take me a while to get over this first go ’round.
