Sit in the shade of the trees by the roadside and enjoy one of Austin’s best crêpes. Everything’s great here, but my personal favorite is the strawberry and cream one. Yummy!

Okay… this place is probably our new favorite eatery. You cant go wrong… EVERYTHING on the menu sounds insanely d-lish! I wish they had told us the crepes are the size of small vans. We ordered one each and then a dessert crêpe to share. MISTAKE! I mean kind of a mistake. They were huge, super huge. We could barely finish our dinner much less the amazing raspberry crêpe to follow. It’s like a whole meal wrapped up in a sweet little pastry from heaven. Did I mention that the service was EXCELLENT?! Excellent! Friendly and helpful. Prices are great and food is fresh! Loved it.

When the person working/cooking doesn’t know what’s good because: «just because I work here, doesnt mean I know what anything tastes like»…that’s bad sign # 1. The food had potential, but if I wanted quesadillas,(which is prettymuch how anything comes out resembleing) id have stayed home.

A friend of mine came to me wild-eyed one day in the office. «There’s no time to talk. We have to go now,» he says, rushing me out the door and to Le Paris Creperie. The creperie is contained within an Airstream trailor on South First Street, just south of downtown. We arrived for lunch, and dutifully ordered a pair of vegetarian crepes. After about 5 minutes, a man emerged holding plates that contained two giant, delicate, French masterpieces. It’s just too difficult to put into words how good these crepes are. Mine was overflowing with garden fresh spinach, mushrooms, and either a heavy cream or cheese. The ingredients are skillfully measured and mixed together into a high performing but simple medley of flavors. Anyone with a nodding acquaintance with French cuisine knows that crepes are finicky and delicate; It’s almost impossible make a crêpe at all, so do one well is an achievement worthy of a parade. The proprietor was very polite, and the facility is clean. The sitting area is simple and quaint. Get there now.

I feel guilty for writing this review, so I’ll keep it short. What’s all the hype about here? It was a decent crêpe, but it didn’t move the earth and moon for me, wasn’t it supposed to? I ordered the egg, ham and cheese. After the first few bites I couldn’t help but think«I could possibly make this myself at home». Yikes! I’m not much of a cook either.

I have been here twice, and pretty much tried all the sweet crepes on the menu. The prices are reasonable and the portions are the best I have come across in Austin. Best bang for your buck! great menu variety and you can make your own! I love the raspberries and white chocolate one and the sweet trinity. absolutely delicious!

We had the Sweet trinity crêpe. When you think of the classic crêpe fillings(in America anyways) you get what’s inside this crêpe. Nutella, bananas, strawberries all covered in whipped cream. I don’t eat very many crepes, but I thought it tasted ok.

Ooooo lala. GLUTENFREE crepes!!! It was a cool, crisp, appetite-enhancing work day and I had prearranged with myself that I’d order an entrée and a dessert crêpe from this new food trailer. My breakfast had been skimpy and when would I be back on S. 1st anyway? I had numerous excuses for my enthusiastic ordering frenzy. One small Mediterranean Crêpe and one Nutella Banana dessert crêpe, please. Then after ordering, as I sat at a table under the trees enjoying the sun, I began to worry about combining the French crêpe with the Greek filling. Hmmm… would I have a baby«Freek» to digest? Napoleon and Constantinople together in my belly? My lunch arrived within 10 minutes which I thought was perfect timing. The small Mediterranean special was not small. It was huge. And delicious. Roasted chicken, spinach, chopped olives, and lots of feta cheese blended in a lovely GLUTENFREE(did I mention that?) crêpe. And my good God! The Banana and Nutella crêpe was heavenly. Slices of banana were adorned with a thick slathering of Nutella, folded into a pie shape and sprinkled with powdered sugar. All this loveliness for only $ 10.81 and half of each crêpe leftover for another lunch. I felt like Olympia Dukakis and Gerard Depardieu were waltzing in my stomach.

And the three men I admire most, The Father, Son, and the Holy Ghost, They caught the return train from the coast, The day Sweet Trinity was served. I love a magnificent dessert crêpe. I love sharing the Sweet Trinity crêpe here. I love not sharing it as well.

Who knew? I sure didn’t. I recently discovered this little eatery by accident. I was strolling along, on my way to another food spot for lunch, and there it was. Another crêpe trailer. –Sigh– I’m thinking to myself that this is the third crêpe trailer that I know of within about a 3 mile radius. What’s up with that? My curiosity got the best of me and I walked over to take a look. I see the two words that always immediately resonate with me…“Gluten Free.” Really? Ok, sign me up. So there I was, with my original lunch plan shot, and once again I’d been kidnapped by yet another crêpe trailer. The first thing I noticed was that the prices were less expensive than the other crêpe spots. Then I noticed that they offered a «small» size and a «regular» size, which was nice. I opted for the small sized Chicken Florentine with caramelized onions, mushrooms, green onions, spinach and Swiss cheese, topped with Chipotle mayo. I was impressed that they put the topping in a separate container so that the customer has the option of putting as much or as little topping on as they want.(It’s the little things in life, you know?) This«small» size crêpe was huge. These crepes were not stuffed as fat as crepes offered at other trailers, which was fine with me because it was so large. This crêpe was amazingly delicious and filling. The Chipotle mayo had a zesty zip to it, and was a perfect compliment for the ingredients inside. And despite the fact that they had to whip up a new batch of gluten-free batter, they still managed to get the food out faster than the other trailers, and there was a line. Impressive. They offer other lunch crêpe varieties, both with gluten and without, as well as scrumptious dessert crepes like Strawberries N’ Cream, Sugar Drunk Peach, and various Nutella crepes. Bön Appetit!

Is it possible to get Trailer over-saturation? Sadly, yes it is. This little enclave, just a block north of the Trailer Park, has a nice view of Bouldin Creek going for it, but precious little else. I struggle to see what Le Paris adds in the ever growing realm of Crêpe Trailers. OK, one may say: Buckwheat! And that is admirable, except that they were out of it. The standard crêpe itself was a little too soft and doughy. I had the Paris Special which was basically sauteed peppers and feta. Well, it was mainly feta: so much so that lipo-suction needed to be performed on it before I could consume it. Gotta say, though, that this crêpe trailer probably is the best VALUE in terms of weight per dollar. The small size is about as big as what you get at Flippy and maybe 2 – 3 dollars less. That’s worth something. I’d estimate it to be about a dollar. Despite the creek, you really feel like you are just sitting in an old parking lot off of Lamar. That is a bit of a drag. I think. Truth be told, I was looking for Izzoz Tacos, not crepes. But I suspect it moved and where it is now(2 blocks south) was closed.

Juine(the owner) and her team make the Best Crepes in town. I could practically live on «Sweet Trinity» and cant wait to try the savory crepes the next time I am in this part of town. Also part of a great trailer park on south 1st.

I discovered this food trailer the day before Thanksgiving when the only open places are either serving Chinese food or are filled with soot covered families still reeling from their deep-fried turkey fiasco. We were lucky enough to find a crêpe trailer called Le Paris Creperie that was still open. I ordered the swiss, ham and basil with a side of pesto and it was light, but filling. My Dad said his turkey, avacoado was a little spicy, but he has zero spice tolerance so I’m sure it would be fine for normal people. Definitely something to keep in mind in case you light your house on fire via flaming turkey during the holidays, but I’d head there even if it wasn’t the only thing open.

Le Paris Creperie was a pleasant surprise to run across. Discovered one weekend morning while rummaging through Unilocal,my wife and I decided to go try it out by getting some breakfast. It’s based out of a food trailer(what great food isn’t, it seems, here in Austin) set in a clean little trailer park off South 1st. They have nice picnic tables setup with plenty of space for parking, as well as some subtle outdoor lighting. The menu is mounted on the front outside wall of the trailer, is quite large and very easy to read at a distance(so folks are not crowding around an undersized menu board). The food was fantastic, and the couple that runs this place was very nice to explain any questions we had about the menu. Food was prepared and brought out to our table real quick, and the portion sizes were QUITE generous! I got a crêpe that had sliced strawberries and bananas in it, slathered with Nutella. It was WONDERFUL, and whatever batter they used to make the crêpe itself was very well made.(Light, not heavy. Nice and thick with a lot of flavor, but not overpowering or rubbery. General ‘light and fluffy’ texture.) All in all we were quite pleased with Le Paris Creperie, and plan to return quite soon. Make sure to chat with the owners when you go visit this place, tell them Unilocal sent you!

Now, the only crepes I’ve ever have tried were made by my Mom and she’s the best cook in my book. So it surprised me to see Le Paris Creperie right next to Izzoz Tacos, as I assumed all trucks were ‘street food’, didn’t think crepes fell into that category. But that didn’t keep my curiosity at bay. Nope! I knew we had to try ‘em the next day. Hey, that rhymed. After touring the State Capitol, we worked up an appetite and headed on over thatta way. I ordered the Farmer’s Vegetarian crêpe, with potatoes, cheese, mushrooms, pico de gallo and sour cream. As soon as I bit into my veggie-filled crêpe, I knew we made the right choice coming here. My son, the picky eater, even ate his crêpe! He hardly tries new things! The texture of the crêpe was amazingly soft, great taste and made with care(Have you ever TRIED making a crêpe? I did and I sucked, hence I hardly eat crepes). Too bad I didn’t see much business the day we went. Then again, we ate pretty early. I hope business picks up for them, as it would be a SHAME! if they closed. Don’t hesitate! Head over there! CASHONLY!

Stopped at Le Paris for dessert after running some errands the other night and was more than pleased. The owner said they had just been opened a little more than a month, and he definitely has something good going with this place. My girlfriend and I got 2 dessert crepes and it was about $ 9(the Nutella/Raspberry one was especially delicious). They take credit cards, which is a rare occurrence for a food kart. I can’t wait to go back for one of the savory crepes, as they all sounded delicious. You should check out their Facebook page, as they announce special deals and hours from time to time.

Lot to like here– the service and crepes are both top-notch. In fact, they let me have a garden crêpe on my first visit after I’d forgotten my wallet. I of course came back the next day to pay for it and another and the very sweet girl gave me a nutella crêpe and bread pudding to try. I’ll update this review with something negative I’m sure(like it’s too hot in Austin!), but for now this place delivers… figuratively, of course.

Loved the chicken pesto crêpe! The chicken was delicious and the pesto was some of the best I’ve ever had. The owners/staff were very friendly. We got to try the bread pudding and it was fantastic. I highly recommend giving it a try.
