It is a hidden gem. Much like discovering a beautiful mink stol in the back of your grandmother’s closet, finding this place was just as much a rare surprise. It ranges from expensive and rare to near-80’s and cheap. The owner is the sweetest woman and will retrieve no less than 4,000 old and interesting hats for you if you show a keen interest(I spent hours trying them on, setting them down only to find she’d already plucked another from the other side of the store for me to see). If you want vintage, and I mean, 1920’s bonnet-vintage… stop in, take a look, and get lost in the Dakota-time-warp, because shopping here is really like rummaging through the elaborate closets of 20 different, very old and well-dressed strangers.

I can’t believe that this place doesn’t have a review. I came here for the first time today. I saw a red cloche hat in the window that had«MINE» on the tag. The cool thing about this place is that the second you walk in, a dog comes to greet you(that’s Dakota). When it comes to vintage(and antiques) this place is the real deal. While talking to the owner, she was prepping a cool beaded purse for display and she informed me that the purse was from the 1870s and was owned by someone’s grandmother in England. While not everything that comes in has a background story, it’s nice to have the occasional history lesson. The hats and jewelry are arranged nicely. I got my awesome red cloche hat for $ 20. I actually didn’t think that was too bad considering how some places that aren’t even really vintage jack up their prices. My little sister bought a necklace for $ 10. I’d say the price range is pretty wide. The jewelry can fetch a high price($ 200). A lot of the things I saw here were in good condition. Overall, this is a very lovely place worth multiple visits.
