I love tacos, LOVETHEM. I love donuts too. This place makes me so happy in the morning. A pretty good selection of breakfast tacos are available and oodles of donut flavors. Nicely sized they don’t skimp on the filling. Two will fill you up just fine. The salsa comes mild or hot(hot is hot for sure). I haven’t had there signature donut taco yet, but one day, one I’ll climb that mountain. I do recommend you go in the morning when they are well stocked. It’s not a cool, hipster place. It’s a place to get some tasty tacos, a donut, maybe a cup of coffee and be on your way.

I consider myself a semi-donut connoisseur(my family owned a few and always had friends who owned or worked at them, so I ate a lot)… You can tell a lot about a place just with their donut holes… Oh damn, their donut holes are LEGIT… Always a good sig everything else will be good too. The old fashioned was crispy but soft… The glaze is not to sweet, just perfect to compliment the dough. Kudos!!! Next time I will have to try the tacos since it seems they are popular for that too.

Breakfast tacos and donuts are a Texas or maybe an Austin staple? After a night of partying I need something a little heavier than my usual breakfast staple of egg whites and oatmeal. My husband and I came here and we were quite overwhelmed by the selection of tacos. For $ 1.69 I could choose from about 10 different breakfast taco combinations. I ended up with a sausage and egg taco and a maple bacon donut. I loved the breakfast taco and the sauce. The eggs were fluffy and sausage was flavorful. The maple bacon donut was fresh and the bacon was crispy and smokey. My husband and I took two donuts to go to try later. It was a no shame day in the food arena. We shared an apple fritter and a long john(filled with yellow chiz). The apple fritter was disappointing and I have not found a good once since living in this area. They tend to be too dry and just overall lack. The long john was very good and filled with delicious amount of cream. This place was quite busy for a Sunday morning and I can see why. I have a better idea on what I would want to try next time so I will be back.

I love this donut and breakfast taco shop! Friendly staff, good donuts — very popular place on a Saturday morning!(I just have to make sure I make it there early enough before the donuts sell out! My kids love the colored icing’s and the donut holes, My wife and I enjoy the sausage and egg tacos. Malaysian themed setting with a few tables. Always a good experience, frequent this place regularly.

Be sure to order the Donut Taco, with your choice of beef or chicken fajita sautéed in bell peppers and onions and mixed cheese on top. Not to mention, the unglazed donut it is served on, makes it the most delicious Donut Taco I have ever had! And only lol

First the good. Great service, fast & courteous. Doughnuts above average. After reading a bunch of hype I was shocked to find the breakfast tacos pre-made! The eggs were like an airlines, the sausage was bland, and the tortillas were steamed not cooked. Chorizo flavor was off. Really disappointed & questioning people’s taste. Maybe my Mexican wife & small Spanish ability allows me to try more authentic places. While there eating,(twice) my daughter was the only Mexican to come in. I can only guess the less spicy food & English speaking staff is more important to many reviewers. The only thing worse than bad tacos is misrepresenting yourself as having espresso. They have a 3 decade old self service gas station machine. I actually laughed out loud when I saw it. Sadly McDonald’s serves better coffee & tacos. All this said if you want to support local & need a quick stop for breakfast this place burns through the line as fast as the people can order, with a smile.

Yummy. I love the chocolate covered donut holes and the Mexican style tacos. They are always stocked with everything and my total is never more than $ 5! The staff is always nice and gets you in and out. Convenient location makes this my go to shop for donuts

Today was a complete disaster. I’ve been here before and wasn’t impressed, and today was the icing on the cake. I browsed their menu online a good while before driving down there to place an order. My wife sent me what she wanted via text and I placed my order. The first taco was a Nopales egg and chorizo, then a potato bean tomato and onion. I also asked if they could add some green bell peppers to the taco. I was told that they have a vegetable taco. I said can you add green peppers to the previous taco and they said no. So I said OK then give me the vegetable taco thinking to myself i’ll combine them to get the taco i want since asking for more than 4 items on a taco is not possible. Next i asked what came on the donut taco that was on their website for $ 4. the young girl looked at the menu as if it was her first day and said she didn’t see any donut tacos. I politely said they were on her website as a special taco. she tried to get the managers attention but he was too busy walking towards the back stuffing a donut in his face. She finally got the manager to come up to the front and he showed the girl the tiny post-it note that showed the dont tacos that was hidden behind the register. At this time the girl took off to help someone else. the manager asked me for my choice of meat and i asked if I could add an extra meat and he said no. I said fine i’ll have the Pastor. he placed the order and I was trying to get the girls attention so i could complete my order. I was finally able to wave her down and ordered a ½ dozen donuts. I asked about the chocolate covered ones, which looked like a glazed donut with chocolate, and an old fashioned that was chocolate covered, then there was a chocolate donut that was chocolate covered. I asked if it was a double chocolate and she said yes. When I got home those double chocolates were actually chocolate blueberry and I was not prepared for that. At this point the cook comes up and says they are out of Nopales. I said ok then how bout a bacon potato egg and cheese. A few more minutes go by then the cook comes up and says they are out of Pastor. UUGGHH… fine i’ll take the barbacoa then. About 5 more minutes go by and I see a sign on the wall that says buttermilk cake donuts or something similar. Shipleys makes a glazed buttermilk cake donut that is the best on the planet so i wanted to give this one a whirl. I asked if i could add 2 more donuts and said buttermilk cake please. She said we don’t have buttermilk, so i pointed at the sign and she said oh… and showed be a plain cake donut. I asked if they had a glazed one and she pointed to a glazed cake donut. I asked what kind of donut that was and she said buttermilk cake. OMG, at this point I was ready to get a refund and goto burger king for christ sakes. I get home and I got a taco with egg, onion and tomatos, the other taco is bacon egg and cheese, the other taco was chorizo egg and green pepper, and the barbacoa donut taco. the donuts were blueberry, some lemon cake, and I got one that had sprinkles smashed in the side of it. the tacos were all wrong, they were out of several items, they didn’t know their own product, and didn’t know their own menu. I’ll never go back to this place.

I like this little place. My favorite thing to get is the Apple/Cinnamon fritter. Their donuts were cute, some pretty creative. Everything else seemed averagey.

Small place not a really good drink selection but let’s be honest by the name of the place drink selection is not what you REALLY care about! I got the Donut Taco with bacon, sausage, egg and cheese… I expected a mix of sweet and savory, it was not that. It was pretty much all savory kind of like generous amounts of egg, cheese and meat on really dense croissant dough. You can definitely taste the donut it has a very slight(very slight) donuty sweetness to it. Oh by the way I have 9″ hands and it was bigger than my hand, it’s enough for two I couldn’t finish mine. The little guy behind the register was a smart ass but I’m from Philly so I kinda dig that but for new customers that might be a bit off putting. Overall the food was good, reasonably priced, I’d probably get it to go as space is limited.

I got the chorizo and egg and the migas tacos. They were so filling!!! I usually eat a lot but holy cow! I loved the chorizo and egg one but not so much the migas. The migas had chips in it but they were all soggy chips. I wish I got another chorizo and egg or something else. They probably had the biggest breakfast tacos I have seen in Austin. Usually they’re whimpy and empty. I really liked the salsa they gave too because it’s spicy enough. I don’t usually eat out for breakfast but I would come again and try some other tacos. Good value.

Love their pigs in a blanket and service. Definitely a morning hit. Pick up a breakfast taco also. They have a huge burrito style one that’s pretty good. I once lost my phone there and thankfully they recovered it for me.

Donuts are good; the Maple Bacon and the Fruity Pebble ones are my personal favorite. The breakfast tacos are good enough. Pretty reasonable price for a dozen.

Let me attempt to be brief before I go to sheep land. This use to be a lil gem in Way South for seemingly authentic breakfast tacos. Mexican style was our go-to in the am. Delicious beyond imagination! A veggie dream alongside the yummiest salsa made fresh in house. However since Linda, the lovely Cambodian lady left, it has gone down-hill much like a crashing speed boat. The yummy salsas are now lacking in freshness & spiciness. And 3x I’ve come in at 5:30am and not once were the Mexican style(vegetarian) ready! You would think after multiple visits, they would insure a selection of tacos were available. Btw, they were available at 5 am prior, when Linda was employed there. Therefore, I don’t believe it to be an unusual request. And we were such regular customers, that Linda always offered to have more made in the back, which just made our day! Oh how I miss those tacos & Linda’s warm greeting. The service has dwindled into nothingness. But the tacos are what really kept us returning back. Well, at least we still have pleasant memories of fresh veggie tacos & amazing homemade salsa! If only Taco Deli were Way South, I would be in breakfast taco heaven daily. A regular customer no more. Boo. Now I shall cry myself to slumber…

I am a bit of a breakfast taco fan. But not at this place. Sure, I know I go in a few hours after they open because of my job, but I see mountains of breakfast tacos under the heat lamp. When I ordered a bacon & egg & cheese, the salesperson tried to hand me one and I kindly asked her for a couple made fresh. She refused. I will not be back. Come on, is it too much to ask for a fresh tortilla, some bacon, eggs and a bit of cheese done when I order it? I do not want to go into a shop and pay for 3 hour old /heat lamp tacos. The only redeeming quality about the breakfast tacos is the salsa. It’s got the right heat to it and tastes great. The problem is that they leave it sitting out at room temperature. Their kolache’s and breakfast sandwiches are pre made and just thrown into the microwave when you order. I’m not a fan of that sort of product myself. Doughnuts are okay, but I’m not usually looking to eat that much sugar in the morning, but my wife does, and she shares the same opinion.
