Oh no! I HATE to this — but I just returned from another wasted trip to Erik’s Taco Stand. Why wasted? Well, half the time it’s closed during business hours. It was once Porfirio’s and the same lady ran it — she was there like clock work every day at 6:30AM. The tacos were in warmers but still DELICIOUS! Then it closed for a few months and re-opened as Erik’s. They now cook onsite, but I would say 50% of the time, they’re out of the combination I want or they’re just closed, period. Very annoying and BAD business. I assume the issue is Erik, since Porfirio clearly knew what was up when it came to quality and consistency. I hope Erik reads this because I hate being hungry for a delicious taco and I’m starting to try for one less at less at his place. I think many of his other customer’s from Porfirio days are feeling the same. Work it out man — or you’ll go out of business and it will be totally your fault!
