We came with 10 minutes left on a Friday night and they welcomed us with a smile! They were all super nice and professional… We couldn’t believe how reasonable the price was! So delicious that we came back the next day and we received the same excellent service!!!

Just happened to be passing by and decided to stop in. Good pizza with lots of options, and they build it and cook it super quick. Plan your pie out ahead of time if possible, because the choices can be overwhelming. A few good beers available as well. Thumbs up!

I liked the concept, but couldn’t get past the service I received or the not-so-fresh toppings. I have a hunch that the woman who took my order was new. Or, at least I hope she was. She had no idea what a margherita pizza was(one of the«specialty» pies on their menu and a standby at pretty much any pizza joint, right?), was grumpy as could be, was weirdly stingy with some ingredients(e.g., three small mozzarella balls total), was overly generous with others(minced garlic equivalent to at least five cloves), added Italian sausage per my husband’s request, loaded the pizza with wilted, brown basil, and — when I commented that it was a lot — pulled some off and put it back in the basil container. That squicked me out for all of my vegetarian friends who would gag at the thought of cross-contamination of their veggies with sausage. I noticed other staff looking at her with irritation and me with apology, so I think they realized she was not up to snuff. Unfortunately, no one stepped in to save the experience. On the upside? Reasonable price for as many toppings as you’d like and a crisp, cracker-like crust. Unfortunately, the bad waaayyy outweighed the good.

Been here now four times since it opened. Every time was good. The food itself isn’t anything special but the price is right and the options are great. Really have no complaints other than the location. The domain is and always has been a pain to get out of. Other than that, no complaints.

Well priced make your own pizzas at aroun; 8 – 10 bucks! The staff is so friendly and helpful and they do a great job making the pizza in front of you. The end result is a faux gourmet pizza with all the fixings you choose and everything is super fresh. I’ve also tested the salads which are not quite worth the price tag, but a healthy addition to any pizza. Absolutely recommend it for anyone visiting the domain and wants a casual/fast food meal. I would compare the vibe of the place to chipotle.

Super yummy. A great variety of toppings, sauces and drizzle. For the quality and variety of toppings the price was very very reasonable. I had buffalo mozzarella, goat cheese, artichoke hearts and kalmata olives. Delicious. The same toppings from a competitor would be twice the price. The staff was fast and friendly. Hard to find that in Austin now.

Ok, I have to give this place top honors for reasons. First of all, not having to… debate… with Joel W. on picking pizza toppings and being able to get exactly the pizza I want. Second, no charge for extra toppings. I seriously got, like, 20 things on my pizza and they just kept asking me «anything else»? The crust, the sauce, and the toppings are awesome. While the crust is pretty set(regular or gluten free 10″), you can get your choice of 4 – 5 different sauces and they also offer finishing«drizzles». They have a WIDE variety of cheeses and other toppings, to the point where I put 15 things on my pizza and wanted more but kind felt guilty for some reason, because there were so many already on there. It takes 6 minutes to get your pizza. And it’s cooked in this woodfired oven that makes everything taste just AMAZING. Even with marathon metabolism in full effect, I had to take part of it with me. You won’t be hungry after this bad boy. For when I’m trying to eat things not quite the size of my face, they have a salad that you can customize with any or all of the toppings for the same price. I’m a huge fan. I’ll be back.

Eat here instead of at the cinema. It’s cheap, very tasty and fast! Reluctant to try out the food at the adjacent cinema, we decided to give this place a shot. It looked nice and advertised quite the claim: «Ready in 5 minutes» Well, 5 minutes later, we were nicely surprised by the yummy thin crust individual pizza. The ingredients seemed to be fresh enough, but the crust and sauce made it especially yummy. I wouldn’t recommend the salads though. This is a pizza joint and should be thought of as such. But hey, the price is right and the people were nice and so I say, give it a shot!

The vegan cheese is the best part about this place, but everything is pretty great. They serve Gold Peak tea, which is good for my sensitive stomach. I’m usually more of a deep dish person because i love bread, but the thin crusts don’t disappoint. Service was excellent and I enjoy seeing the pizza being made right in front of me!

So simple yet so good. We arrive a bit early for our movie and didn’t feel like spending the crazy prices they ask for in iPic so we thought we would give Flaming Pizza a try. I had pretty low expectations even though it had a high rating because of some bad experiences at other make your own pizza place. We decided on a easy margarita pizza and it turned out great. The pizza was a decent size that we were able to share the one pizza and be plenty satisfied. The food arrived nice and quick and was cooked to perfection. Nice crunchy crust with fresh ingredients on the inside. Next time I am heading to the movies, I will make sure to stop by for a pizza as well!

I love this place! It’s like a subway for pizzas. Similar to Mod pizza, but I can’t give a comparison since I’ve never been to Mod. You get a crust and pick basically a base and whatever toppings you want. They have a spicy tomato base, normal red base, a white base, and I believe one or two others. Definitely don’t miss out on the buffalo mozzarella cheese. Very creamy and fresh! They have lots of options from spinach to olives to assorted meats. The price isn’t bad and you get what you pay for. The quality of the ingredients weren’t the freshest, except that buffalo mozzarella(srsly get it!!), but you can put a lot of things on your pizza and it’s unlimited. One star off cause my crust was kinda old and one side was thin and they still used it. My pizza was good, but ended up being super crispy/burnt in the side that was thin and looked old. It would’ve been nice to have had a fresher crust, but overall I was happy. I would be back, but I want to try Mod to compare the two!

Pizza is good. I love the crispy thin crusts. Lots of topping. I go a little crazy with so many options. The spicy red sauce was a bit on the salty side today. Not sure it it’s normal. Only been here twice. First time had the regular red sauce. Everything was great first visit. Would of rated 5 stars if the sauce wasn’t on the salty side today.

This place is an extremely pleasant surprise. Most of the highly vaunted pizza places in Austin are actually surprisingly mediocre. This leaves room for a dark horse to come out of nowhere and get on the«Top 5 Pizzas in Austin» list. Well, here is at least one dark horse with a credible claim for the title. This is a thin crust establishment — with a beautiful flaky crust that feels light in the mouth, is sturdy enough to hold your pizza, cuts easily and tidily, and does not detract from the taste of the ingredients on top. There are a lot of thin crust failures at other competing establishments, so this is a big plus. I was with a vegan, so this meant no meat on the pizza — but there were plenty of non-meat ingredients that could pack a flavor punch. Roasted garlic and arugula were good candidates. We could have opted for kalamata olives(SO much better than supermarket black olives on a pizza) — or any of a number of chile/hot pepper variants, or more soothing ingredients. Another big plus. IMHO — (of course — it is MY humble opinion and it involves food. This means it is absolute ironclad gastronomic truth.) Pizzas need tomatoes unless the tomato sauce is very very fresh. Flaming Pizza offers Roma tomatoes AND cherry tomatoes AND sun-dried tomatoes. So tomato-fying one’s pizza here is easy and effective. Additional plus — extra ingredients are free. Sure, they may charge a little more for their pizzas, figuring people will pile on the ingredients. Still it is nice to go to a pizzeria and not feel like you are at American Airlines where they are charging you extra for bags, extra for getting on the plane and extra for breathing. Thumbs up for Flaming Pizza.

Great for lunch. Chipotle style«build-your-own» ordering with awesome ingredients and a brick oven = quick and tasty pizza. The crust is thin, which is why they can cook the pies so quickly, but I prefer thin crust anyway. My custom pizza started with the margherita and I added pepperoni, red bell peppers, and roasted garlic. Yum! The location is nice and the interior is clean, not too loud, and very casual. I’ll definitely go again. Off the top of my head: 5 sauces — white sauce, garlic butter, BBQ, spicy marinara, marinara 5 — 6 cheeses — moz, buff moz, and others 7 — 8 meats — sausage, pepperoni, grilled chicken, chorizo, ham, etc. 12 — 16 veggies — red peppers, basil, onions, crushed garlic, roasted garlic, spinach, olives, banana peppers, etc. etc.

Flaming Pizza is a locally owned and operated MOD style pizza joint. They have about 30 topping options(including sauces) that you can select from. The dough is made fresh daily, and the pizza toppings locally sourced when possible. They also have a gluten free crust option. You can make your pizza with whatever combination of ingredients you want for a set price($ 8.29). They say your pizza is done in about five minutes after ordering. I however, haven’t yet had the pizza. It looks amazing, but I keep coming back here for the build your own salad option. You can take those 30+ toppings and turn them into a salad for a set price(cheaper than Whole Foods down the street that pays by weight). Their fennel sausage is delicious, and they have large capers! They have a spring salad mix that you can combine with the romaine. I am addicted to this new salad option for lunch. The restaurant has a small eating area inside, and a couple of tables outside. It is simple and clean. You walk up to the counter to order your ingredients as you go down the line, and then pay at the cash register. They do have some bottled wine and beer options. The staff is always friendly, and when we stayed for lunch one day, they actually startled us by coming over and checking in to ensure everything was OK. Now, when it gets less hot outside, I will need to try their pizza sometime!

I was really impressed with this place. Subway style build your own pizza. They are no limits to the number of toppings, tons of toppings to choose from, they have house favorite suggestions, and everything was really fresh. The pizza is cooked in a brick oven and comes out hot and crispy. They have multiple dressings and after bake drizzles. Well priced $ 8 – 9 for the pizza and definitely enough food to fill you up — I took half of mine home. Great concept done right. Definitely recommend it!

I have been craving gluten free pizza for months. After a yoga workout next door, my friend pointed me this direction and I am thrilled she did. A few awesome things about Flaming Pizza– when I mentioned a gluten allergy they did the following things: changed their gloves automatically. Put a special covering under the pizza so it did not directly touch the pan. Wrote gluten on the piece of paper so it was clear. I was really really impressed with this training and sensitivity to allergies. Now on to the pizza. The gluten free crust was light and tasty but did not crumble like most GF options. Plus– SOOOO many toppings. I had three kinds of cheese, pepperoni, spicy sauce and all of the veggies. Anywhere that offers me unlimited vegetables is the best ever. For 11 bucks I could not have scored a more delicious offering anywhere else. Highly recommended. Will visit again.

I’m still thinking about the super tasty pizza I enjoyed yesterday for lunch. The crust was amazing – tasted very fresh – and the toppings were no slouch either. My personal recommendation: 1. Normal crust 2. Spicy red sauce 3. Goat cheese AND fresh mozz 4. Fennel sausage(optionally add bacon, I did not but I could see it tasting real good) 5. Post-bake arugula and pesto That pizza, paired with a Power & Light beer, was surprisingly good! I would take that pizza in a blind taste test versus any of our Californian offerings like Pieology, 800 Degrees, or Mod Pizza.

This pizza place is located in The Domain. Custom build your own pizza or choose one off the menu. Thin or gluten free crust available. I ordered the Ultimeat pizza that had pepperoni, sausage and ham on it. I also added red onions and roasted garlic. My Wife and kids had Margehrita and pepperoni pizzas. This place us like a subway sandwich, you can add different vegetables to your pizza. The staff was friendly and our pizzas were delicious. The toppings are plentiful, and the crust was crispy. We sat outside to enjoy the weather and people watch. I hope this new business makes it.
