INCREDIBLE food, every single time! It’s just so good. Everything I’ve eaten here was AMAZING. The cheese curds are my personal favorite. Can’t wait to try something else asap! Yum yum yum!!! :D

We used Fraiche Mobile Kitchen for our wedding on April 12, 2014. They were FABULOUS! The food was amazing and everything was fairly priced. We had mac n cheese bites, shiner pulled pork sliders, lamb burger sliders and my personal fave crème brûlée french toast bites(these are a MUST have for desert! so delish!). The ingredients were fresh and everyone really enjoyed this truck. Kristen also worked with us preparing two separate dishes for part of our wedding party that has multiple food allergies — she made a wonderful dish just for them and they were in love with her food. If you have an event I highly recommend using them, very professional and flexible.

Had been wanting to try the lamb burger for a while, and finally did. This is really good, and the best part is they use fresh and local ingredients. You can’t help but support that.

Tried their Carne Hash today… it was alright. Good taste, potatoes was a tad bit hard but overall ok. I will try their chicken salad sandwich next time.

Today I ordered the shiner pulled pork sandwich. It was very flavorful and ere was a good amount of meat on the sandwich as well. The price was very fair. Also if you ever see the chicken salad on this truck ITIS A MUSTORBUST!!! Love this food truck we saw them at the Houston food park

I know this food truck is new to Houston and I want to give it more stars but I really can’t. The woman working the truck was very nice and I liked the layout of the menu but that’s where the pros stopped. I ordered the pork belly«BLT» and an order of the spicy tater tots. The bill was $ 14 which isn’t terrible for a food truck, but a price like that makes me expect some quality food. My order was ready in about five minutes and I was excited as I went up to the window to receive it. The disappointment set in quickly, however. The tater tots were obviously frozen and were not worth $ 5. The spicy cheese sauce was nice, but had too much heat for the average person. I didn’t mind that, however. The BLT was lame, and at $ 9, it should NOT have been. The pork belly was low quality and overcooked, the sauce was nothing special, and the lettuce/tomatoes were all over the place. The bread was nicely toasted and buttered, which was probably the best part of the sandwich. My buddy got the slow roasted, pulled pork sandwich and was also disappointed. The sauce was practically non existent and it wasn’t flavorful. The pork was nicely cooked and not fatty, but it needed a tasty BBQ sauce to compliment it! Also, mayo and cabbage alone does NOT make a tasty slaw. They can definitely do a better job. Their concept is on point but the execution seems more geared to late night, drunkards with cash to blow. I hope they can pull it together and up the quality level on the food, as I would like to leave a better review in the future after they’ve gotten their feet wet. I don’t plan to return anytime soon. I do appreciate the fact that they rolled up to the Food Truck Park on Wednesday for lunch though. I want to like you!

On a rainy day at the Urban Harvest City Hall Farmer’s Market(that was a lot of words for just one little place), options were slightly limited on the side of healthy, non-standard to me, and interesting. There are only a finite number of times I can get a kale, quinoa, or kale and quinoa combo plate from Roys. Since Plan B(really Plan A, since Plan B was not on my list this go round — read my previous sentence regarding quinoa and kale) was a no show due to the rain, I headed to Fraiche. This all worked out in my favor, as I got a pretty tasty veggie burger. It was mostly lentils with bulgar and finely chopped veggies, more importantly it was made in house. No frozen, preservative-riddled discus of «health,» this was a tasty, fresh, somewhat malleable patty of health. It came with curry aioli(not very spicey) and pickled onions. It was a little too bland for my tastebuds, but it was pretty filling. I think I may have an addiction to Cumin, Ginger, and Garam Masala, so there’s that too. I didn’t really care for the bun, but I’m also one of those zealots who prefers a collard wrap with my burger. Fill my belly with food food, not filler! Most would like it, though. It was toasted which added a much needed crunch for the slightly mushy burger. Good, but slightly bland and mushy. Would people think I was weird(er than they already do) if I were to carry packets of cumin and/or garam masala in my purse for low-seasoned situations?

I caught up with Fraiche over at city hall farmers market, and I am so glad I did! Their veggie burger was amazing– it was handmade, and wasn’t one of those bean only patties, I could make out grains, seeds, and vegetables. The bread was delicious and look lovely atop the healthy patty. I’m not sure what the spread consisted of, some sort of mustard base, but without being too mustard-y. Most of the time I like my food without mayo, or mustard, and Fraiche pleasantly surprised me with their homemade spread. I will definitely be going back for more!

I recently was able to track these guys down at the Haute Wheels Food Truck Festival. There are only a few trucks in town that I have yet to track down so it was a nice way for me to visit some that I had not heard of before. Since these guys were new their line was not ridiculous. When I got there I was only 1 person behind and got my order in and food out in only a few minutes. That was nice since some of the other trucks had lines that was over 30 minutes just to order. We ordered an order of pulled pork sandwiches it was 3 for $ 7. Their menu was simplified for the festival and it was the only dish that caught my eye. The sliders came out quick. My first bite into and the flavor was good, pork wasn’t too fatty and sauce brought it all together. My biggest complaint was the bread to meat ratio. The bread was big and it was just a spoonful of meat. I am interested in re-visiting these guys with their normal menu.
