I LOVETHISGAP! I’ve been on the search for flattering jeans for so long and finally, in an act of desperation, I stumbled into Gap, a store I hadn’t shopped at in years. A wonderful employee named Cheryl(Sheryl?) saw me struggling and asked me if I needed help. I told her my dilemma and she said«If you had your dream pair of jeans what would they look like? fit like?» So I described what I liked and thought flattered me and she took me around explaining the different fits, inseams, etc and pulling options for me. I ended up in the changing room trying on like 8 pairs of jeans! She stopped by and asked how everything was fitting — so sweet ans helpful! Thank you Cheryl! I ended up buying 2 pairs of jeans! Woohoo! This was after going to Madewell, J Crew and Nordstrom and coming up empty handed. Yayyyyyyy!!! Also shout out to Michael, who spoke to me on the phone when I called asking if they have a specific pair of jeans in stock and let me know that you can go online to their website and reserve items for pick-up in store! Thank you!

This is the best Gap location I’ve ever visited. I’ve never had anything but absolutely superb service and help from every representative, they often have the best selections of new items, and terrific sales. Contrary to the older reviews, this locations does carry a decent men’s line and I shop here all the time for my husband. They also have accessories and the GapFit line as well. This is the store that finally convinced me to apply for a GapCard: because I frequented it so often the extra sales and rewards were so worth it. Unlike some other chains, you can apply discount on top of discount until you’re getting decent clothing for a very very low price. It’s never crowded and like another reviewer mentioned, there’s almost always convenient parking if you don’t go on a busy Saturday.

They ditched Gap Body at this location! Now it’s just your average mall store gap, from what I can tell. No more sexxy times.

was that guy for real saying this Gap is like ‘a men’s shop in the Soviet era’? uuuhhh seriously, what does that mean exactly?

I’ll give it a second star, because the women’s section looks decent. The men’s section however looks like it was a men’s shop during the Soviet era. Limited styles, limited sizes, messy, possibly the worst Gap in the history of Gaps. I wasn’t really looking to buy(I don’t where much Gap clothing because the quality is already pretty suspect) something when I stepped in, but no I’m pretty unlikely to ever walk in again.

If you’re a woman and you need to pick something up at the Gap, I highly recommend this particular Gap. Why? 1) There’s parking right in front for easy in and out(except for maybe Saturdays). 2) I’ve never been here when it’s super crowded(caveat: I don’t frequent this store on Saturdays). 3) I’ve been very pleased with the helpfulness of the staff(and because it’s not that crowded, you end up with more time with helpful staff.) 4) It’s usually not too messy, like other Gaps I’ve been to… Here’s where i’m coming from: I walk in and out of most other Gaps because the stores are a mess, I can’t find anything and all the staff is at the register ringing up sales or cleaning out busy dressing rooms. I’m telling you — this is the one to go to! But note: it only carries women’s lines! As for reviewing the Gap in general? I’ve recently rediscovered it. I bought three sweaters there last year and am crushed I didn’t buy more. They also carry long and EXTRA long jeans!(Woo-hoo!, shouts me!) One weekend two years ago I shopped Nordstrom and every boutique in Austin for jeans with at least a 35″ inseam. People would brag about their long jeans … until I tried them on… nothing had more than a 34″ inseam. Then I remembered that the Gap might have that option. I ordered five pairs of extra long jeans for the price of one pair of designer jeans. I may not have the hippest jeans in town, but my wallet isn’t complaining! Another thing to note about the Gap: unless something has changed, if you order instore from their catalog, shipping is free!
