The store itself is good. Spacious, easy to find things, good self checkout lines. THE PHARMACY IS HORRIBLE. Don’t walk, RUN away from the pharmacy. I switched to a nearby HEB pharmacy because this one never got my name right during the three years I went there once a month. I found out that the exact SAME prescription they had been charging me over $ 200 a month for was available for $ 69.64 at the HEB pharmacy down the street. Horrible crooks. Horrible.

The cleaning lady, Lydia, parks her cleaning cart somewhere and follows Hispanics around checking to see if they are stealing. If you walked in with something she will accuse you of having taken it from HEB and try to force you to pay for it. Speaking to management is futile. I believe management asks their employees to play security guard. There is a lack of leadership at this store. I have other reviews of this store who claim that they have been accused of stealing. I wonder if those accused of stealing are all minorities.

Love our heb. Staff is always friendly to us and our kids. Wish they would sell buried hatchet stout beer again. Only reason why I go a little more out of my way to another heb sometimes. No big deal though. There are nicer hebs but this one does the job for everyday groceries.

I’m never shopping here again. Went last night (a Monday). The produce section was enough to send me running back out the door to my car. There were FLIES everywhere. Fruit flies swarming around all of the produce – understandably, because most of the apples, peaches, and avocados I picked up were soggy and rotten.
Several parts of the store obviously hadn’t been stocked recently. And we went to the deli counter, where they allowed someone to cut in line ahead of us and order, even though they had literally JUST walked up and the staff had just acknowledged we were next. We walked out, vowing to get deli meat from another grocery store. I’m done, H.E.B. You’ve had too many chances.
Also, you might want to clean up the dead flies scattered throughout the store. Nothing quite like grabbing a container of butter with two full-​sized dead flies next to it on the shelf.

I have only been to this HEB twice and there’s a reason for that.
The first time, it was terrible. Not because of the staff, but because of the fellow shoppers. They were hovering all over me, being rude, pushy. I vowed not to come here again (not bc it was HEB’s fault).
But I decided to give this HEB another shot. The staff wasn’t very nice. Everyone looked like they didn’t want to be there. EXCEPT for the deli. They were great! Friendly and even made conversation. But everyone else was so BLAH.
My friend even lost her keys and the only person that helped us was the lady at the deli. The guy we asked looked like he didn’t give a flying f***. But at least she found her keys.
Definitely feel like there’s friendlier HEBs around town that I could go to.

The management staff is rude but they have a good selection. Won’t return though because of the rude management.

My HEB! The best grocery store. The staff is very helpful and nice, and the other customers are friendly (very important). The prices & selection are great too.

Seriously. I came to this pharmacy bc it was a bit closer to my house. I should have gone to my regular heb!!! Long lines and slow service!!! Such a difference compared to my regular heb pharmacy. And not even an I’m sorry, or thanks for waiting?!? Jeez! First and last time. Oh wait. I have to go pick up my meds. Ugh!

It isn’t a huge HEB but they have a great cheese and seafood selection.

I am going to be getting a prescription filled monthly and I know I will need a pharmacy that I can get to know as I will be in there quite often. Once my first encounter with this pharmacy they did not have my prescription ready when they said it would be ready and had to re-​order. They informed me that I would receive a text when it was ready the following day. After waiting all day I called them and the girl wasn’t sure if it was ready or not, but then decided that it was ready after debating with herself. I will be giving them one more chance but if it does not work out this month I will be finding a new pharmacy.

I had my prescription at a Walgreen’s that was always out of the way, so I decided why not transfer it to HEB, since I’m there every Sunday, grocery shopping. After having my prescription filled twice here, I’m switching it back to Walgreen’s-Duval location.
My first prescription-​fill wasn’t available when they said it would be. That’s fine, I am an understanding person. So, my man picked up the prescription after work, he waited 30 minutes to be waited on. There appeared to be no other issue aside from lack of regard for time.
Thought the issue would resolve itself next time around. Unfortunately, no. Again, a 30 minute wait and I was 2^nd person in-​line. I had to resubmit all of my information, which makes no sense because this is my 2^nd refill there. And, worse, apparently, they didn’t transfer over my insurance information with my prescription, so my man paid full-​price for it.
How would he or I know? We wouldn’t have. And, since I didn’t notice within the first 7 days of purchase (it is a month prescription), I now have to go through my insurance company and file forms and then take them back to HEB to get my cash back. When discussed with the Pharmacy Tech, I was apologized a handful of times and poor service that was blamed on new staff.
Just a thought… maybe you could start offering free aspirin with prescription transfer. Later gator.

This have been my pharmacy since 1998 until a few months ago when I moved out of the neighborhood. They will get your drugs filled, but they are not helpful with any problems that might come up. They are consistently defensive with any issue that arises. They have lost scripts and fill scripts incorrectly. Not a pharmacy that I would recommend.
