I went in with my family and we got the fruit cup, waffle cone, and corn cup. The food was great — once we got service. We stood there for about 5 minutes waiting for someone to come to the front. A couple came in as soon as a server came to the front and she immediately started helping them while we were still standing there. The waiting sucks and I sure was annoyed about them helping others while I clearly was ahead in line BUT the food was worth the wait.

I was a regular at first location opened. When I found out a closer location was opened to my house, to my surprise the cashier was not so happy to be serving the 3 customers(including myself) in line. Not a hello or I’ll be with you shortly nothing at all!!! Disappointed since at the original location employees are always so friendly from the moment you walk in till you leave. However I ordered Nachos, agua Fresca oh so good Pinapple flavor!!! Delicious refreshing I will say maybe the employee was having a bad day we all have those days or overwhelmed with the orders she had to make! Will be back again to give it another shot overall food was great!

This place is certainly authentic. I am white as a ghost but my wife was born and raised in Mexico so if she says it’s authentic… it is. And I always find good stuff for me as well. To the Hay Elotes team… I have watched them grow from a very small customer base to now likely thousands of fans. These guys(and gals) clearly know what it takes to put out good tasting food and run a business. Disregard the review from Mr. 1 Star… if you look at his review history you will notice he has 14 negative reviews(mostly 1 stars) out of a total of 19 or 20. Aaron likely just can’t handle good old fashioned Mexican fixins.

I am from a border town across Mexico(Piedras Negras, Coahuila) and these ladies KNOW what they’re doing! All the ingredients are indeed insane if your not used to eating chile, tamarindo, or candy. You might get heartburn or diarrhea if you’ve never eaten like or are not used to chile/spicy candy! Prices are fair. Especially if one wants to make a living here in ATX. Explore the menu! Have fun! Be safe! Drink plenty of water(: Don’t over eat!

Holy crap! This place is as amazing as their original location on 7th. Everything fruit related is super fresh and extra yummy. Usually order the nieve de limon, but I’ve moved on to the nachos topped with white elite, jalapeños, and cheese. Every time I go, I always say I’m going to order something different, but I get my usual. Lots of choices and staff is friendly and patient. Be patient about the long lines in either location. It is definitely worth the wait.

Have been to the location off 7th street and I love this location much more, you can actually sit somewhere as opposed to the other location there is no where to sit. This location looks much cleaner. This location is very busy… But for a good reason. Snacks here are amazing just like the 7th street location! Will be back for more!

Went here yesterday while the hubby and son went to get haircuts. When first entering, this place has a weird smell to it. Not a good one, I was a little turned off. But when I looked at the menu, they had so many overwhelming mixed things which made me understand the smell. I went straight to what I know. It reminded me of Cali, fruit cup. Yup, fruit cup with chile y limon. SO good! Reminded me of California and can’t wait to go back. But for now, Hay Elotes is awesome. Btw, I did try an elote. It’s elote in a cup! Really good! I will def be here again! and again! and again!

This place is gonna be dangerous. I grew up on the border, I love grilled corn, but I’ve never cared much for corn cups. That said, Hay Elotes has changed my mind. The corn was absolutely divine. It tasted like freshly shucked corn, nothing from a can. It was steaming hot and perfectly cooked with just enough bite. It was topped with cheese, crema, chili, and lime juice. I completely devoured an 8oz cup of corn and I really wished there was more. Of course this place also offers a bunch of other delicious snack options: raspas, fruit cups, sour hot cheetos, ice cream, and so much more. The girl at the counter also said they make their own ice creams and frozen fruit ice(in mango, pineapple, lime, lemon, and a couple more flavors). The staff was super friendly and answered all of our questions. I’ll definitely be a return customer.

Perfect place to get Nausea, Heartburn, Indigestion, Upset Stomach, Gas, and Diarrhea all at once! Why go anywhere else? I hope the Health Department pays this disgusting establishment a visit REALSOON.

So good, reminds me of the elotes in Jaurez Mexico. Lots of delicious foods and a nice lounging area. Come through.

EATHERE! Had: sandía agua fresca. Really good. Wanted Horchata but they were out. Small elotes. Soooo good. They use the white chewy corn. Right amount of everything. May want to add a little salt depending on your taste but other than that it’s amazing and yummy. Coconada: omg. I can’t even put into words how good it is. The Rusa or fresa y crema or mangonada is tempting, but GETTHECOCONADA. I’ve been dreaming of it since I had it. I can’t wait to go back here.
