I’m not the one to write bad reviews but it was my first time there and the lady that was working didn’t greet me, wasn’t helpful, had such a shitty attitude, and just slid my food and didn’t say anything. My first and probably last time going there.

Quick delivery and open late is a plus for students. One star because there is HAIR in their sandwiches. Think twice about what you eat from there. They obviously aren’t paying attention to food prep. The hair was so long it didn’t even budge when I tried to pull it out because it was so well wrapped into the sandwich… puke. I called to let them know and the manager didn’t sound shocked or too concerned so I feel like this might be a normal occurrence for them. The manager offered to make another one but I don’t think I will want them prepping my food again to be honest. I asked for a refund instead and he says he will honor it. I will update this post on whether or not he follows through. His name sounded like Chasey or Tracey. didn’t hear too clearly. This makes me sad cause it would’ve been an easy go-to choice for future late nights studying /: Oh well.

Haven’t had Jimmy John’s in a long while and didn’t remember it being quite as good. Came very early in the morning to meet a college student. We both haven’t had breakfast but a sandwich sounded good especially since the other option next door was a very packed Chick-fil-a or Taco Cabana. No one was here yet but I got my usual of Roast beef. It was fast and the bread is out of this world. Nothing compares to it. Its chewy and perfect. The meat and veggies were fine but the bread is what stands out. Its very quiet at this time of morning and they are fast and efficient. Nice place to chill for a Sat a.m. when the entire campus is just waking up. Enjoyed it a lot. The music was a tad loud for the morning but that’s ok. We still were able to chat and enjoyed our sandwich before heading out. Hmm. this sandwich made me start craving a good sandwich again-no more of that Subway bready stuff even though its cheaper. This was perfectly sized and good enough. Almost just as good as my other fave-Which wich ;)

Been going to Jimmie Johns for awhile now. I typically always love their sandwiches and this location ain’t no different from the one off of Red River. Great sandwiches here. Been here five times so far and never had a problem with the food or the staff. They stay open til 3am in the morning so it’s always a great place to stop at for a late night bite after a long trip downtown.

If you want a sandwich delivered super quick, this is your spot. My sandwich was delivered within 15 mins of ordering! I recommend the Italian night club with cherry red peppers.

This is the worst, most unprofessional Jimmy John’s I’ve ever known. Just tonight(early morning of Saturday, May 16th, 2015), after a night shift of work, I watched a delivery person blatantly and lazily pretend that they couldn’t get a hold of my neighbor outside of our complex by letting the phone ring once and then walking away, despite me showing them that the entrance of my apartment complex was open and clearly pointing at the apartment. They then proceeded to lie about their name(«Kyle») before leaving in their white SUV. When I contacted the store and asked for the manager, a person(apparently the manager, and apparently named«Casey») immediately expressed attitude before I could even complete my sentence, denying the existence of the driver. «The manager» hung up on me mid-sentence — TWICE. I could hear myself on speaker phone the second time. I’ve made orders to this Jimmy John’s for the past 4 years, but in the past 2 alone: I’ve had deliveries take as long as 2 ½ hours, I’ve had delivery drivers rudely push my food at me and reply to me asking for a pen with asinine comments like«Why would I have a pen? Sh**, I’ll sign it myself. …We good?», and I’ve had sandwich artists stare me straight in the eye as I said«May I have EZ mayo, please» and proceed to throw a good pound of it onto my sandwich. You can hear all the delivery drivers(with a few exceptions) roll their eyes and sigh if they’re asked to meet you anywhere other than the corner of the block that your apartment complex is located on, refusing to acknowledge that they ignored all delivery instructions in the first place. To top it all off, I can tolerate the occasional stoned delivery person, but one time someone who was very obviously on hard drugs *commanded* me to be outside my apartment complex«in exactly 13min» because he didn’t own a phone. I don’t have the time or will to make this kind of stuff up. These experiences have occurred despite a proven and traceable history of sizable orders, good-to-great tips, and polite communication. This is a poorly managed establishment that obviously feeds off the revolving door of naivety and late-night desperation that comes with being so close to UT campus. A one-star Unilocal review barely touches on what I think this place deserves. While I’m a big fan of Jimmy John’s as a brand, and I realize that this is just a sandwich place, maybe Jimmy John’s should stop hiring anyone that applies and consider using an interview process that actually filters out scummy people who shouldn’t have customer-facing jobs in the first place.

Zero stars if possible. Zero anything if possible. Zero customer service. Zero ownership of their poorly trained employees. When I asked for the manager the person who answered the phone tried to pretend to be them. Poor showing. Get your lives together. You have a job. It’s not rocket science guys.

I tell people to never order from here. A coworker of mine ordered two sandwiches a few nights ago and both were wrong. She was too nice to call and complain. Horrible place!!! They need to learn how to take an order right, read the order and do it correctly, or stop smoking so much weed when they work.

I am not so much into chain restaurants and one day decided to try out jj. I ordered a delivery online and was impress on the fast service. One day, I was by the store located on W. MLK and went inside to eat… Even a faster service:)!!! I sat down and unwrapped my sandwich and I realized I forgot to asked them to cut the sandwich in half. I took it to the counter and asked one employee to help. He grabbed it and looked at the manager and the manger told him«go ahead». As I observed, I noticed the manager asked for the knife the employee used to cut it and replaced it with a new one. Great to know they care about preventing bacteria exchange:). The manager made sure the knife that touch my sandwich wasn’t been used for other new sandwich(in case i had touched it when I unwrapped it). They rather switch knives than tell customers they can’t, since I unwrapped it. Also, Kudos for not making me feel uncomfortable. Even though they didn’t realize I saw them, I am glad I witness their work ethic. I congratulate the manager and staff for the good job. I feel comfortable eating or ordering from that location!

They did not know where I lived. Dude on phone said«I don’t know man» as if they don’t have gps!!!’ I’m freakin 1 mile from your store idiot!!!’ 2:05 pm Sunday October 26th is when I called. Maybe this guys just a moron but I’ve been eating jimmy johns since my college days in Mattoon Illinois where the very first Jimmy Johns is. Don’t understand how the customer service is so bad. I will never call this place again!!! Ever!

I had never been here or heard much other than the radio ads, so I had no preconceived idea about Jimmy Johns. That being said, I am happy that I went here because the sandwiches have a very clean flavor to them. I think they are all served cold, with minimal seasonings or dressings. Very tasty and SUPERFAST! I ordered, washed my hands, and when I was done our sandwiches were waiting for us! I will definitely be back

It’s not Lee’s Hoagie House(Philly) but it’s the best in Austin and it’s a chain at that. If they could only fly in Amoroso’s rolls…

I’ll start off by saying, if you want a sandwich, Jimmy John’s definitely makes some great ones. And you can’t beat the fact that they are open until 3 am and they deliver. I have had some tasty sandwiches from other JJ locations before. This location however… I don’t know if it has to do with the fact that this location is so close to UT(easy to please/hungry college kids), but they are VERYINCONSISTENT. I have ordered at from here on a number of occasions and they will often forget things like Avocado(which is a ridiculously overpriced add-on considering they give you barely any). When you are paying $ 8 + for a sandwich they should at least get your order right. If you order in store, make sure you WATCH them make your sandwich. Sure, they make it scary fast, but this leaves much room for error. As far as the location, it’s easy to get to, the little parking lot and spots on the side are usually free, even with it being so close to campus. The interior is clean, as with any JJ. I’ve experienced super fast deliveries, as well as some that took over 40 minutes. If you’re really craving JJ, I would reccomend finding a different location or hoofing it over to nearby Which Wich on the drag(they give you WAY more avocado and way more choices on customizing your wich).

My first time trying jimmy johns was April 2013 ever since then I have been a fan the only reason why I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I ask for avacado and they charge a small amount extra and they barely give me anything on my sandwich like a teaspoon but that hasn’t stopped me from going still my favorite sandwich spot.

Cons: I nearly died from food poisoning. Almost lost consciousness at around the 3rd hour of throwing up. Pros: The Vito is really good.

Ok, first they increased their price per sandwich by like 50 cents last year. Fine. Then, in January, it jumped an additional $ 1 per sandwich. That’s a pretty big percentage increase in a matter of months. With those increases and adding tip on delivery, we’re now looking at almost $ 10 per sandwich. That is just too much for this caliber of sandwich. I’ve cut WAAAYYY back on my orders, but thankful they’re an option in a pinch.

Very upset customer! I came here the other night after a hard workout. I was FAMISHED! I proceeded to order my regular, the Vito. Well, I got home and unwrapped my sandwich. What do I find? Bread stuffed with lettuce, onions, and hot peppers. How does this happen? How does a sandwich shop forget to put the most important part in my sandwich!!! The MEAT was missing!!! I always thought Jimmy John’s was consistent, but I was wrong. After this, I probably won’t be back! Such a shame!
