definitely needs basic customer service training. you know, basics, like, «hi!» If you do go in, the trick to getting food is to speak first, yes, even if you are standing right in front of the register and you are both staring at each other. You have to say something first to make sure they’re alive. That was Awkward. Also, if your food is to-go, you’ll just get a wrapped sandwich placed on the counter top. No bag to carry it in or napkins. 3 Stars because the sandwich came out quick and delicious.

Ordered my food and they give me a call half an hour later to say that they don’t drive 1.6 miles or one exit up to deliver. This location freaky no go freaky undeliverable. This was after they took my payment and said we will be there soon.

OMG. I grew up in the Midwest with Jimmy John’s and when I lived downtown, I was super close to the campus store, but since I lived on the East side, no delivery.(In all fairness, NOONE delivered to me, except pizza hut, which has no gluten free option so…) I was ok with that, since at the time I wouldn’t have wanted to deliver to my ‘hood either… Fast forward 13 years. I have bought a house and moved south. Away from all JJ’s… UNTIL! I noticed one when dining at another restaurant and was DELIGHTED! 2MILESFROMMYHOUSE! OHHAPPYDAY!!! BUTNO! They apparently only have a delivery radius of 1.5 miles, because from where they are on Stassney and Congress, my house at Wm. Cannon/Manchaca is out of their delivery range. No wonder they can claim such«fast delivery» They only deliver 10 blocks from the store!!! WTF? Looks like I will be going back to Thundercloud for my GF options, now that they have one… One star because they DO have the«carb friendly»(and GF friendly) lettuce wrap, one star because they are really good, but… on the delivery BS? no star for you. LAME, Jimmy John’s, LAME.
