Dr. Kuhlmann and his nurse Peggy are OUTSTANDING. He is patient and gentle and incredibly thorough. I felt he genuinely exhausted every possible option to make sure I understood what was going on and was super patient with my questions. Peggy was the warmest, most comforting nurse I’ve ever been around. She felt badly that I had to wait for Dr. K and actually brought me a brownie and a glass of ice water completely unsolicited. And she was helpful in explaining to me every step of the way what was going on. A true rarity and much appreciated. Dr. Kuhlmann was running 90 minutes late(he had surgery elsewhere) and Peggy was very apologetic, which made it easier to accept and not get grumpy(plus the brownie and stack of current magazines). The young lady at reception insisted repeatedly that she called me to tell me he would be late. Very annoying as there was no message from her. I showed her my phone and how there was not a message and she repeatedly insisted there was. It was a tedious argument. It would have been better had she just dropped it instead of insisting on getting in the last word, especially since there was no message. But even that glitch dissipated under the care of Dr. K and Peggy. I will definitely be back but next time will call to see if the doctor is running late or not. Highly recommend!

I’ve been a patient of this practice for just over 25 years. Dr. Kuhlmann is thorough, knowledgeable and has fantastic bedside manner. His nurse and office staff are great as well. I had to have a hysterectomy fairly young(45) and knew I had the best possible doctor! He found a lump in my 23 year old daughter’s breast in December of 2013. This was her first visit with him and he took it very seriously and moved very quickly to get insurance to approve the needed testing and to the imaging center to have her worked in(all a week before Christmas). He got on the phone himself to make it happen(they had told us it would be mid January before the testing could be done). And I am so thankful he did because sadly it was confirmed to be cancer. He went above and beyond for us, even visiting her in the hospital after her double mastectomy, and making a point to check in on her another time in the hospital when he had surgery and saw her on the hospital schedule for a surgery with her plastic surgeon. I have always loved Dr. Kuhlmann, but this just reinforced my opinion of him and raised it even more! He is truly the type of doctor that is a rarity now days.
