I was quoted $ 750 for brakes– called around and was able to get it for $ 250 elsewhere at a very reputable business. Disappointing that they are taking advantage of customers or price gauging. Also, their computers take forever to process and I never received a receipt for my purchase. Then they called me to say that I didn’t pay when my bank account reflected the charge from lambs.
Great for a basic oil change, but I would not recommend for any service beyond that based on my experiences. Hope get computers fixed.

Rick was just wonderful in taking care of our inspection on an older vehicle that needed some professional help. We’ll be going back, whenever the need arises. Ask for Rick.

These guys are honest to the core. TWICE now, I’ve taken my vehicle to the dealership where they provide a «free» oil change — but also manage to conduct a «quick inspection» and seem to find something that «really could use attention ASAP». TWICE another repair shop has contradicted their assessment. This last time it was my rear brake pads which they recommended be replaced ASAP. Since I didn’t have time that day (and have learned to get a second opinion anyway…), I made an appointment with Lambs on Far West. Within 20 minutes of arriving, they told me the brake pads were at about 50% and they didn’t believe I really needed new ones, at this point, unless I just really wanted them for some reason. No charge. They could so easily have just replaced the pads and never said a word. Dave is awesome. I’ve always gone there for tires and will be going there for just about everything else from now on.

They really make an effort to take care of the customer, but my car was delayed over 2 hours due to various snafu’s. While the manager was not present the associates offered what they could but my time is worth more than $ 10 off and free nail repair on two tires.
Once I finally got my car returned to me the seat was damp. Unsure of why I would not be told this.

Great customer service, friendly staff. They were able to fit my inspection and oil change in before closing. I’ve gone to Lamb’s for years and this location did not disappoint.

Lamb’s has been around in Austin as long as I can remember. Their repairs are great and their customer service is fine. The prices are fairly high and they do a lot of upselling (when I first started driving, an employee had me buy a new tire but I later found out that it could’ve just been repaired, which I didn’t know and the employee didn’t tell me) and their locations are good. They’re also much faster than most of the other places I’ve been.

David is one of the best around! I have been taking my car to Lambs and David for over 10 years, and wouldn’t trust anyone else with my cars! I recently moved to Houston and still drive back in to Austin to see them. Honest, great price, quick turnover! Always satisfied.

I went in for two front tires and they only had the cheapo brand in stock, then they solicited a front end alignment and I said «Why not, the car does kind of sort of slightly drifts to the left.» after a $ 200 alignment the car still ever so slightly drifted to the left so I went in the next week to have it aligned again and I’m pretty sure they didn’t even work on it because it still drifted to the left ever so slightly. At the third visit they said there was nothing they could do and they couldn’t offer a refund. Crooks take your money at gunpoint, Hustlers make you give them your money willingly. These people are hustlers and solicitors. It’s a shame.

I am not a big review writer but was so disappointed by my experience today that I needed to get this out there. I have been a Lambs customer for years but today was the last time I will visit them.
I got a full brake job (pads, rotors, seals) done by them 13 months and 25,150 miles ago. They did a great job at a decent price — $ 700. On the way home from Colorado last week I heard my brakes start to squeal and I almost couldn’t believe it. So, figuring that the work was definitely under warranty having only getting the work done over a year ago I brought it in today for an inspection.
Well turns out one pad was completely done and one rotor bad as well. I was informed the warranty was 24 months or 24,000 miles. Assuming that since I was well within the 24 months but just outside the 24,000 mile mark that they would cover most if not all of the cost to replace. Turns out the parts are lifetime but, since I was 1,150 miles outside of the warranty, I was on the hook for the entire labor charge. They finally (reluctantly) gave me $ 30 off but was still out of pocket $ 215. Pretty weak in my opinion…
So, in just over a year I got to pay for two brake jobs, which I think is ridiculous. For what it’s worth…

I went there yesterday 5 minted to close and they were so accommodating and helpful. The manager on deserves huge kudos as he let 3 others in right at 5 pm and managed to get us all fixed up and completed by 530. Dave answered the phone nicely and was helpful and really the entire tire buying experience was made pleasant not stressful all because the helpful staff on Saturday 10÷9÷15

Great service and knowledgeable staff. They even worked hard to fit my tire replacement in on a busy Saturday. Though we ended having to postpone due to the warehouse being closed where my odd tire was stored. That’s my fault for coming in so late on a Saturday. But unfortunately I have to take away a star and a half for them adding the warranty into the sale without telling me. So watch out for that. Other than that you can trust them on pricing. No mark up on the actual tire what so ever.

I’ve brought my car to this location a handful of times over the last few years. Each time I’ve been impressed with the quality of repairs and the staff. They are wonderful (especially David and Rick)!! The fellas at Lamb’s are always so kind and honest. I feel like they’ve made an effort to find me good prices on parts when money has been an issue. I don’t plan on taking my car anywhere else, as long as I’m in Austin.

Ask for David, he is friendly and honest! I have been taking my Honda’s here for oil changes, tire stuff, and general upkeep for 5 years. Always honest, friendly and when they quote you a time that your car will be ready, it is usually ready sooner. I have never had any issues or problems here, if you have to get an oil change/​tire rotation, this is the place!

I cannot even begin to express how wonderful the folks at this Lamb’s are. I have taken my car here several times over the last few years and they are always timely, considerate, informative and helpful. I always schedule ahead of time and I am always given a fair and accurate time for when my car will be completed. I have gone to them for oil changes, tires, and most recently for a nail in my tire. I scheduled a 7:00 am appointment for my flat tire. Rick has helped me out several times, so I was elated to see him again. He is beyond helpful and efficient. I cannot even begin to express how outstanding of an employee, and just in general human, he is. They looked at my tire, took out the nail, patched it and I was on my way by 7:30 with no charges. These guys work really hard and always have a great attitude.

I was visiting a friend in Austin when my car started making an awful noise. Since I was scheduled to leave the next day, I wanted to have it looked at. She recommended that I take my car to Lamb’s because she knew they did good work and were very honest. Rick and his team went into immediate action to assess and fix the problem and I was back on the road by the next morning. My car is driving better than it was when I arrived in town. The staff could not have been nicer and really went above and beyond to repair it in a timely manner.

I’m tremendously sad when I have to write a bad review for a local business. I brought my car in for some tire noise that developed shortly after having my tires rotated. They told me it was a bad wheel bearing. It was an expensive repair $ 624. I decided to take it to a alignment specialist for a second opinion. It turns out that the bearings were fine, and the alignment was off, which caused uneven wear and tire noise. Cost? $ 75 for a examination and four wheel alignment. I think they just saw the uneven wear on one tire and took a very expensive guess. I’m so glad I had a gut feeling to get a second opinion. The service was professional, but a $ 624 repair I don’t need is a dealbreaker. Sorry Lamb’s tire.

Rick here at Lamb’s was great to us. We were traveling across the country, stopping by our old home in Austin, when we got a flat tire. We found Lamb’s by the grace of God. The tire was punctured clean through. Rick not only was friendly and fast, but he told us about a place to take the kids while they patched the tire. Then he didn’t even charge us for the patch! Rick was a lifesaver. Thank you! If we lived near there Lamb’s on Far West would be our tire place.

Bought tires here about three years ago. Got a nail in my tire several months ago, and they honored their warranty with a good, no fee patch job. Dropped off the punctured tire in the morning and drove on my spare until I got a call and text in the early afternoon that the tire was ready. Brought my car back, and they switched the tires in about 15 minutes. Comfortable waiting room and points for having princess bride on the tv. Bonus points for the staff behind the counter who knew the movie verbatim.

These guys are awesome for minor car repairs and tire issues. I’ve noticed some of their heavy mechanical repairs are more than other mechanics for the big stuff I go else where or to the dealer. But for the small minor repairs I go here because the location is so convenient for me and the staff is friendly and the repairs are always prompt!
You don’t even need an appointment and they’ll still take you, no matter the crowd!

I noticed after work yesterday that my back tire was very low. I slowly drove in during rush hour and finally arrived around 5:00. I was helped immediately by a very nice man named David. I waited about 20 – 25 minutes and he came back saying my tire was fixed and I was ready to go! The service was friendly and prompt. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone looking for great customer service!

These guys rock. It was my birthday, so they patched my tire for no charge.

Went in to get my oil changed and was happy to know that they would rotate my tires for free! Also, David was a pleasure to work with. He seemed genuinely pleased to help me and went out of this way to make sure that I was pleased with my services. Will return!

I had the best and most efficient experience ever at a tire shop. I was helped quickly. Needs met fast and gave an estimate on how long it would take. I needed a tire patched up. They were friendly (especially RICK) and he was helpful, courteous and knowledgeable.
He gave me an estimate and timeline when I should get new tires. Was genuinely concerned with making sure my tires were on point and that I would be safe on the road.
He patched up my tire and placed it back on my car for me.
We high fived and I gave him a big hug. Nice to know they’re right around the corner.

After a terrible experience at Don Hewelit I came to lambs and they took great care of me.

Edit: Kirk the manager called me and offered to make it right and he did. Kirk went above and beyond. When I complained to David, David should have tried to make it right or escalated it, it took me Unilocaling to be heard.

I get a new tire here on Monday morning. Should take 30 – 40 min but did take a little longer than that which is about 70min. Otherwise Service is good, I would give 5 stars for that.

My son brought his Del Sol in, and it needed tires, some suspension, and alignment. After 5,000 miles the front tires had worn to the steel belts on the inside tread. We brought it in, and they fixed the alignment, which was farr off, not sure why. They replaced the tires for free, did a new alignment, and we were done. They were very professional. I know a lot about cars, I have had 69 of them, these guys have never let me down. I dealt with Rick, but all of them are great.
