Horrible service policy that requires you to return UNWORN shoes with the box or you can only receive a stroke credit so essentially it’s not about the box nor is it about service it’s about keeping the $ale. Customer forever lost… over a box.

For Christmas my roommate had gotten me the shoes I had wanted from Steve Madden online. However they were a size too big, so I went to this store to exchange. They were incredibly unhelpful and just plain rude. Good thing these girls are pretty because customer service is something they will never be good at.

Went in to purchase some over the knee socks for some new boots I had purchased. The sales person I worked with the first time was wonderful and sweet. I picked out 6 pairs with the assurance that they could be returned if I did not like them. I could not see the full length of the item in its packaging. Upon paying the sales person accidentally placed the socks where the receipt comes out and it got jammed. She was assisted by what I would assume was her manager and they individually printed out each pair on 6 different receipts. That way I could return if not satisfied bc I was needing a specific length. Regardless of this I left liking the store bc of the nice employee. Fast forward to today completely different experience. Two of the pairs I purchased where not the length I needed so I went to return them. I walked into the store and asked to return my items. The blond assistant manager automatically said she would not return them with out really examining the items. Her attitude was stuck up. She really didn’t care what I was told on my previous experience. I left very discouraged. I could not understand why they would take 20min to individually print out each of these items if they were none refundable. I would have re evaluated my purchase or have accepted there policy and left with out a receipt. I did not wear these items but did have to open the packaging to examine there length. I got treated like I was trying to return worn dirty socks. My boyfriend after seeing how ugly they treated me insisted I give him the socks and receipt. He went in and spoke with two assistant managers and then finally the store manager. She agreed to return one pair but not the other bc of the open packaging. I was with in there 30 day return policy, had the packaging, and receipt. I understand it’s not favorable for the tape to be opened form the packaging but how else could I determine length? They certainly didn’t offer to open the packaging at the store. We left getting ugly looks from employees I can assure I won’t return again. I love Aldo and will keep my business there. That’s what I get for trying a new place. If you are looking for snobbish judge mental employees than this is your place. My first sales person though being new seemed to be the kindest out of all the girls. I wish her a wonderful future. As for the rest they could use some training on how to treat people with respect. I’ve worked in customer service for years and have managed at several stores. I would never treat my customers like this.
