Mom and poppish and nestled in the heart of UT campus area, this place offers excellent Italian cuisine at an affordable price. My friend ordered a greek salad and it set her back 5 bucks, that’s not a typo. She said it was great. I was in the mood for a tried and true classic, so I went with the spaghetti and meatballs, It came with 3 good size meatballs and a good helping of pasta. Loved the sauce seasoning! Everything was hot as if was just cooked! It’s not a gigantic space, but they did a solid job of managing it because there’s plenty of seating including an outside area. TIP: The restrooms are not air conditioned. Parking was plentiful in their small lot on Sunday.

Milto’s is good. They have an oddly diverse menu, $ 6 pizza on Tuesday and a super-convenient location near campus. My preschoolers LOVE it and beg to go there, largely because the people that work there are so sweet and friendly to them(the pizza is a bonus.) Totally family friendly menu, and it’s easy and tasty.

So I decided to come by again to give them another shot(my roommate wanted to) and they didn’t forget to cook our meal this time. Wow. Unfortunately, the chicken alfredo was gritty and rather lacking. I asked them about it and they wanted to charge me to add some at first. Ridiculous. Apparently their pizzas are okay but if you’re going to serve pasta, know how to make it good.

I got the Chicken Gyro, was very fresh tasting! Great portion for the price! This was my first time here and the staff was friendly and patient. I’m not from Austin, TX but once I’m come back, I will be stopping back!

The fettuccine alfredo was the worst that I’ve ever had. It was not even slightly creamy, and came in a wad of hard cheese and dry pasta. There was no sauce and was entirely bland. It seemed like someone melted provolone cheese on top, then stirred it. When I dumped the pasta into the trash, the bowl was so clean that I could have put it right back in the cabinet without washing. The cheese and filo dough appetizer had the opposite issue. It tasted far too strong, and the thick cheese coated my tongue in a strange way. I honestly made myself eat it because I paid for it. The garlic bread was good, though. The standards for food in Austin should be pretty high, so I was surprised at how awful this meal was.

Was quotes an hour delivery time. After 1 hour I called to get an update, they said it was 15 minutes away. I called after it had been two hours, and while on the phone got a call from the drive and they said they was on their way. 30 minutes later the driver shows up. Pizza was«warm». I don’t believe that it was the fault of any one person, issue was with the entire experience. $ 167 order total, was refunded $ 20 for issues.

I absolutely love Milto’s. My parents used to frequent this restaurant when they were students at UT and I’m happy to continue the tradition. The service is always welcoming, friendly, and fast. My menu favorites are the Mama’s Choice Gyro as well as the house salad. I have also had the pizzas and enjoyed those as well. There are great lunch deals throughout the week that are a great price. Also, I love that they have fresh hibiscus tea as an option :) I love frequenting Milto’s and hope that it sticks around for the next generation as well.

I regret spending my money here, honestly not good at all, yet priced as if it is. I got the eggplant Parmesan with spaghetti and i can’t even describe the cheapness and blandness of the food quality. The bread was mediocre. Terrible experience, I would not recommend this place!

I ordered the lone star meat lovers deep dish pizza. The person who took our order was rude as shit. The pizza came more than an hour later. And there was barely any meat on the pizza. The first two slices I ate each had two pieces of meat on them. I wouldn’t classify that as a meat lovers pizza. Also, it cost $ 25. Save yourself the time and money and don’t order their over-priced shitty pizza.

Fresh, fast, delicious, and cheap! I’ve been coming here since high school and things are still the same and I love it. The chicken gyro is my absolute favorite. The sauce is delicious. Everything is consistently good and comes out really quick. Austin’s hidden gem!

A couple of people have raved about Milto’s to me — so I was pretty excited when I realised it was right next door to the performance I’d just watched — and made a beeline for it. I really wAnted this to be some sort of middle eastern heaven. Turkish and Lebanese = definitely my favourite types of food. Nothing glaringly bad about Milto’s at all. It feels fun and a bit studenty — but clean. And the staff are all friendly and accommodating. But the food was just meh. Not especially flavoursome or tangy. The pita was a bit rubbery, and they had definitely over killed on the dressing. That being said it seemed extremely cheap and the portions were sizeable. But for me it’s definitely somewhere to stop on the way back home after a night out not a destination food spot.

Finished work and was really hungry and always passed by this place. Thought I stop in for pizza. I’m from NY and really hard to find good pizza in Austin. Once I tried this place and was hooked.

This place is a staple place I go to when I’m not looking to cook or just want some comfort food. It’s also a really budget friendly spot to take some friends. I’ve had their lasagna, pizza, Cesar salad, gyro, and calzone– all were excellent. Keep in mind this food is basic, nothing out of the ordinary or revolutionary. But they do something many restaurants fail at, they are good at what they make and they are good consistently. The service is also always nice and friendly. They keep me coming back.

This review has nothing to do with the food, as it is quite tasty. The subject I’m unimpressed with is the ordering system. I called to place an order for delivery and ended up being disconnected 4 times in the process. By the time I was able to place an order, I asked if it was all right to have two separate tickets delivered to the same address. I was told that wouldn’t be an issue, but then when the second ticket didn’t have the $ 15 minimum for delivery(even though the total of both tickets, and one delivery was $ 30), I was hung up on again. I got tired of calling again and again, so my friend and I decided to just get something else. When I called to cancel my order and make sure my card was not charger for half the order, I was yet again hung up on. Twice.

Throughout all my years at UT, I had never heard on Milto’s or tried it and know why I didn’t. Maybe I’ve had better experiences with Greek/Mediterranean food and my taste buds are spoiled but this place was below average. Don’t get the chicken gyros. The chicken is bland, limp and tasteless. If anything the beef/lamb combo gyros is probably your best bet and what’s often ordered. The spinach artichoke dip was clumpy and pita bread standard. If you’re a college student and want cheap food, this place may be for you.

Hate to post a sad update, but it’s necessary. How many times can you get a salad wrong? At least three. I didn’t feel like sending it back for the third time, so I fished through the mound of lettuce for the bell peppers and onions I requested they remove. And the rolls I love? They were hard and old. Even the kids said their pizza was subpar

Wow! After having passed by a million times I finally went in due to a special on Amazon Local. You order at the counter. I had shrimp pasta with a pesto sauce, and a greek salad, both of which were excellent. I was told the shrimp took a little while longer to prepare, but I didnt take too long at all. Maybe I was distracted by my salad. Its around campus so parking may be an issue. Bathrooms seemed okay. I think there is wifi here.

Anchored on the north edge of campus the location is great, but the delivery area is too small, no coverage west of exposition. Pickup was pretty painless. The food was hit or miss. The thin crust pizza is tasty. Standard pepperoni pie for the kids, they liked it. Be aware that the Primavera Pizza has jalapeño’s and olives. The hummus was not all that good, it was too nutty and looked like it had been under the heat lamp. Gyro meat was dry, also pita was served in small wedges which makes it impossible for you to wrap meat, veggies, cheese and sauce up and eat. Spanakopita was good. I will go back in the future only for pizza and salads.

Had a delivery order: congealed pasta and cold pizza. When I called the store to track the order was told the driver left 30+ minutes before I called and didn’t seem to think this was unusual. Fine food for dine-in but their delivery standards leave a lot to be desired.

A gyro is one of my favorite things to eat, and Milto’s is awesome. The bread was very warm and the tzatziki sauce was delicious– the meat was well-seasoned and it tasted great. Great price too, and not too far from UT campus.

Tonight was my first time at Milto’s. I was very undecided on what to get because I’m a vegetarian that was fiending for falafel and… they don’t have that. sigh. In any case, the very friendly order taker suggested the pesto pasta. I went with that and a greek salad. The salad was amazing and I was very impressed by there dressing, I assume house made. The pasta not so much. The pesto was so powerful that I could barely eat the pasta. I asked for some marinara to mix it to neutralize the strength of the pesto. It was okay, I would not have that dish again. My friend is a huge fan of the gyro and the rolls were good. Next time I’ll get the large greek salad and will be good to go, that was delicious. It was also a very low key and pleasing atmosphere. As my friend pointed out, since it’s so close to campus, little kids never go there. I hate dining near whiny kids so that is a HUGE plus about this place!

Such a cute place! I went at 8:30pm on a Tuesday and there were still a handful of people there for dinner. You walk up to the counter to order and pay then they bring it to your table. I didn’t have too much interaction with the staff but they were very polite. I got the eggplant parmigiana and my date got the spinach lasagna — neither of us had enough good things to say. Mine was super cheesy and flavorful and both meals came with sides of bread. There was no need to add on the spaghetti to make it filling enough. Besides the food, my favorite part was the patio! You can’t beat a nice covered patio. It was my first visit and such a pleasant surprise. At the end you can feel free to just leave your plates at the table and head out.

Hubby and I were on Guadalupe shopping. He had to run to Wheatsville and I was perusing at Buffalo Exchange. It was about 3 and we were hungry so we wanted something easy. Hubby was feeling pizza and I had a hankering for a gyro. Enter Milto’s. It’s a totally divey place but cute. I got my gyro and hubby got two slices of pizza. Total came out to $ 10! Holy Batman what steal! We took a seat in a cozy corner and then our food showed up shortly after. My gyro was yummy. Pita was slightly crispy but had a good chew, a decent amount of meat, veggies and tzatziki. The lady was friendly and took care of quickly. Neat little place with some pretty good food. Definitely a good place for a quick bite to eat. Would love to come back and eat some of the pasta dishes.

I have only ordered delivery, so I can not attest to the restaurant itself. We like to order Milto’s at work. They are always nice on the phone, the food arrives in a timely manner, & it has always been really good. This is a good option for feeding regular omnivores & vegans. :) On our recent order, the very nice lady on the phone asked if I had any special delivery instructions. I was confused & said, «uhhhh I don’t think so?» She explained, «like, call when we’re close or use a certain door» I said, «Oh, no nothing like that. I mean they could draw me a picture or something if they want. Like a cat, I don’t know.» We laughed & hung up. When our food arrived, they drew a picture of a cat on the hummus container. :D :D :D

Got the Italian sausage cacciatori with spaghetti. 6.5÷10, $ 9. Without the spaghetti, this dish would be way too light and not worth the money. Sausage is ok, but wasn’t the greatest. Kind of reminded me of JCL pasta. We also got the souvlaki pita, 5/10, $ 6. Way too small for its price, not many veggies or extras. I’m very disappointed with the amount of food we got, and the food itself was mediocre. Without any promos(amazon local deal at the time) I’d be really annoyed.

Real food, great service! Appreciated that the salad was large, and fresh, the food was hot, and service was friendly. Lunch specials are an amazing deal. Attached photo is of a spaghetti plate that was $ 5. Thought that the spaghetti tasted just a tiny, tiny bit off, personally, but was still good. Delivery is also free with a minimum purchase of $ 15.(A reminder to tip your driver still :).) Update, I have since tried the deep dish pizza and the spinach artichoke dip. I really didn’t like either. Disappointing compared to how much I enjoyed their lunch menu! Update: I do not recommend the spinach dip. It is a lot of cooked spinach and not so much dip.

Great little hidden gem!!! The food was amazing and the humus was excellent. I got the daily special and for only $ 7 it was a perfect amount of food. They, also, have gyros and pizza, but I have not tried either of them. All-in-all it was a really good, cheap, and fun restaurant in the heart of Austin. I will coming back ASAP!!!
