I enjoy bringing my daughter here fairly often and am always pleased with not only the food, but the cleanliness and friendliness which always greets us. This is not only good pizza and more, it has a great family vibe and I appreciate the service. THANKYOU!

Gross, just plain filthy. Most tables were dirty, every highchair was covered in food and the floor looked like a toilet full of food and dirt had overflowed. Really don’t recommend this.

Brainless employees. Buffet food looks old, and employees are hesitant to make fresh food. Tables are piled high with crap. Screaming kids. Nasty bathroom. No outlets to charge phones.

Quiet Wednesday night, we ventured up to Gatti’s to enjoy some pizza on a budget. We received some coupons in the mail and took advantage of the 2 adult buffets for 9.99. First impressions mean a lot. Especially when you are eating cheap buffet food. I must say that this is a really nice Gatti’s. Looks like maybe this was recently renovated. It was also very clean. My two stars are not for the décor… obviously. We came in around 7 pm. Buffet is on until 9. It was practically empty. We waited a good 20 minutes between each venture up. So when the buffet was refilled, it was like the entire restaurant was running up at the same time. The noodles and sauce appeared that they were on the buffet for too long and don’t come in looking to get a great selection of dessert pizza. As far as quality goes, the pizza sits somewhere between Cici’s and Papa John’s. This location does have draft beer which is a plus! It was worth every bit of the 10 bucks we paid, but certainly nothing to be ecstatic about.

The food is good, and the restaurant is clean and well-lit. Staff is very friendly and quick to replenish food when it is empty. Great place to take the kids to eat – they loved the buffet and the pudding and dessert pizzas. We will be back for sure!

My daughter and have always loved mr. Gattis pizza… but we don’t want to go to gatti land when we want a buffet. This one is a bit on the small side, but the pizza was delicious, manager very plesant, and a crisp salad bar.

Gatti’s really did used to be the best pizza in town. Not anymore. We had the sampler and the Superoni, which was supposed to have extra pepperoni and cheese. If that’s extra, I’d hate to see regular. The sampler ingredients were fine; the problem was the undercooked, chewy dough. The pepperoni rolls were practically Inedible since they were mostly(undercooked) dough with a few thin, greasy pepperoni slices thrown in. Very disappointing. On the bright side, service was quick and the delivery guy was pleasant. But the pizza was horrible! Too many other choices; we won’t be ordering from. Mr Gatti’s again.

Hey everyone. In the past the rating from people that were posted I would have to agree with are accurate. Well as Sam Cooke would say a change is gonna come. This Mr. Gatti’s is back, there not a 100% but they are far better than they used to be. They completely revamped this location and it has a nice Austin feel. The menu with new specialty pizzas too now.

Not sure what the point of a Buffet is, when more than 75% of your pizza has jalepeno toppings. This happens all the time and is really disappointing. How hard is it to make the one pizza that just about every kid in America orders… Pepperoni… always available?

I recently found out I have a bounced check from these people. Not a problem to take care of, however it was turned in to the hot check division. What is the point of writing all your contact information on the check if they do not attempt to contact you if there is an issue? Hello, you delivered to my house so you have my address, besides it being printed ONTHECHECK itself. I have had the same phone number for 10+ years and never received any calls about this issue. Today is February 2012 and the check is from October 2006! After doing a quick search on google, it seems I am not the first to experience this horrible business practice. I guess there business model fits the same type of food they serve — TERRIBLE, which is probably why I have not eaten there in six years.

You know, on the one hand it’s nice that there are inexpensive places for families in a financial bind to eat – but on the other hand, for $ 7 a person, you can get a lot better(and healthier) food than this. The pizza is as terrible as you remember, but at least the drinks have free refills. They did offer to make up whatever we liked, which is nice. But this location had the worst salad lettuce I’ve seen at a salad bar in a long time. Wilted and mushy. Yuck. The do have Nickolodeon playing nonstop, so that’s good for the kids, I guess. Basically, you could drive a few blocks to Little Deli, and get two huge slices of wonderful pizza for the same price, so I don’t know why you’d brave Mr. Gattis if your kids weren’t demanding it.

Ok buffet of pizza and a small salad bar. I like salads, and occasionally pizza. The salad bar is small but you can make a decent meal out of it, and the pizza is well gatti’s what would you expect. the only good thing about the pizza here is that its fresh, like seriously hot out of the oven none of that in 30 minutes or less crap. you can even tell them what pizza you want and they will make it for you. but at the same time, its a mainly delivery place that also has some seating. Lots of tv’s and usually lots of kids. Noisy kids. I may seem like I am being down on the place, but I think I might have to go their again this weekend and eat moar foods!

This review is for the gluten-free pizza only. Yes, that’s right, for all your celiac’s out there who’ve been wanting to order gluten-free pizza on those busy nights, but don’t want your wallet completely ravaged, there is now a slightly cheaper option at Mr. Gatti’s. You can now order a 10″ gluten free pizza with up to 3 toppings for $ 12.59 and a 12″ gluten free pizza with up to 3 toppings for $ 14.59. They use the Gluten-Free Kneads pizza crust just like Austin’s Pizza, and most other place around town, but they are several dollars cheaper. Yes, $ 12.59 is still a crazy amount for a 10″ pizza, but sometimes you just want some friggin’ pizza without having to spend two hours making it from scratch. All in all, it’s a pretty good little pizza — similar to a thin crust, so it’s a nice option to have out there. There are six Austin locations that you can get the GF Pizza from, so check out the website to see if one is in your area.

OK, this place is a slightly better version of Ci Ci’s lunch pizza buffet. Which is to say you are eating terrible quality pizza for dirt cheap in a dirty venue with employees who just don’t care because their salary is about as low as your meal.

Pizza was ice cold on delivery and driver demanded a tip and had a bad attitude, took over an hour to get here when I live less than 7 min from the store. Very Unprofessional management I spoke to «Juan» and he said it would take another 45 min to an hour to send a new pizza AND he needs the old pizza back or they won’t give me it, What BS. Everytime I go in there everything in the buffet is ICECOLD and they all have bad attitudes. WORSTMRGATTISINAUSTINAVOIDATALLCOSTS, THEMANAGERNEEDSTOBEFIRED

This review is targeted toward the Guadalupe location and the 459‑2222 main number that I was provided. First of all, I just want to say that I have never filed a formal complaint with a company. I am normally a very patient, understanding, empathetic, and friendly person. But my experience with Gatti’s company thus far compelled me enough to write this review and file a formal complaint with the company. I received a set of coupons on my door and I am new to Texas and the Austin area. I have never heard of Gattis before tonight and I decided to try it out after seeing the specials. I called the Austin line where I was placed on hold for over 5+ minutes while they located the closest store(I should have just gone online, but I thought it would connect me immediately). The phone agent then transferred me to the Guadalupe store where my number, and address were taken. I then inquired about the coupon that was placed on my door(which is roughly 3 blocks away from the store, but the store is not listed on the coupons as a participating location). So it’s an honest question for a first time customer. So the girl who answered the phone set the phone down… DIDNOT acknowledge me at all or check back quickly. I waited for over 15 minutes to get to where I could even place an order… She then picked up the phone again as if I was just calling in again. I said, «Nevermind» because at this point, as a first time customer, I become angrier and even more unsatisfied with the service they provide. Then, when I tried to call the main number again to file a complaint, I immediately was disconnected and I couldn’t even speak with a person. So I wasted MORE time in a call tree as I tried and speak with a person to file a formal complaint. Then, I go to the website, call the national support line and the SAME thing happened. So after all of this, my FIRST impression is awful and I will never purchase this pizza or even try it based on how I was neglected as a customer. I personally work in a customer relations position for a major company where my job is to make sure customers are happy and that they do not obtain the perception that the company is indifferent to their situations. I am normally a VERY patient and understanding person, especially since I work in a position where I am often yelled at by very upset individuals who pay significantly higher amounts of money for the products we offer compared to a $ 12 pizza. Ok, so today we were craving pizza, just the two of us(Joel W. and I) and we didn’t want it to be sitting around all day so we would devour too much and we were too hungry to get the ingredients to make our own, so we decided, apprehensively, to try the pizza buffet here. For 7 bucks, it’s a pretty good deal. Nothing is super, but it’s definitely a decent way to satisfy a pizza craving. I’ll add a star because I had a pretty decent meal here. The chicken pasta dish was actually, I would say, on par with Olive Garden(which isn’t saying too much, IMO, but millions of people pay 12 bucks for a plate of something like that, so it’s a compliment to gattis). The salad bar was full of fresh and yummy looking veggies and probably a good portion of the reason I added the star and came back to re-review. The pizzas came out quite often hot and fresh, and they even took requests on anything they made(so we got to try their bbq chicken pizza — eh, and their buffalo chicken pizza — yum). I won’t say I’m eagerly anticipating the next trip here, but I can see it’s purpose. This place is for the days I want some pizza, don’t want to wait for delivery and/or don’t want a bunch of leftovers around the house for days. Don’t bother with this place if you’re looking for delivery pie — I will maintain that there are just so many better places to get it. However, if you’re looking for that lots-of-different-pizza-and-other-stuff in my belly experience, this is not a bad place to get it.

It’s Gattis. I would never get pizza to go from here. There are too many superior places. The reason to eat here is for the buffet. For $ 8, you get a drink and the buffet. None of it is great, but there’s a salad bar, pasta, dessert pizza, and pretty darn good mac n cheese. You won’t leave hungry — although you may leave with a tummy ache. The service is good, too. They always make me a fresh pizza upon request. Last time, they even walked over and told me when the pizza was ready. If you have a craving for a little pizza, but want some other stuff of a slightly healthier variety to go with it, it’s not a bad option to eat here.

Long brown hair cooked INTO the cheese of my girl’s pizza. Found it 2nd bite. One star because they gave us our money back no questions asked. MUCH better experience on Far West
